ROASTING GREEN CHILE PEPPERS FROM HATCH NEW MEXICO
August 24, 2012. The Chiliman roasting green chiles at Mr D'z Diner in Kingman Arizona. The one I tried was pretty hot. They had mild, hot, and extra hot chile peppers. He's from Hatch NM, the chile capital of the United States. If you're out that way during the Hatch New Mexico Chile Festival, be sure and stop by. Also if you're out this way in Kingman AZ, stop and visit as well, museums, parks, historic route 66 highway, art murals, special events, BNSF Railroad, and much more.
Peace,

NM True TV San Antonio Green Chile Cheeseburgers
The green chile cheeseburger is iconic in New Mexico. It is difficult to find a restaurant that doesn't offer its own version of this spicy sandwich. In fact the state Tourism Department has created the New Mexico True Green Chile Cheeseburger Trail to highlight some of the very best. And not one but two of the burgers topping virtually every list of favorites, the Owl Bar and Cafe and the Buckhorn Tavern, can be found across the street from each other, in the small town of San Antonio, NM. The green chile cheeseburger is #NewMexicoTrue.

About Bruenger Trucking
SEVEN DECADES OF SUCCESS
And it all grew out of a single load of apples
Bruenger Trucking got its start during the Great Depression when a hired hand decided to steal the pickup truck of dairy farmers Maurice and Leona Bruenger.
After the abandoned truck was later found in Virginia, Mr. Bruenger took the train up to retrieve it and drive it home to his Wellington, Kansas farm. But rather than drive it home empty, the budding entrepreneur filled up the bed with apples and brought them back to sell. That day a trucking company was born.
In 1938, Bruenger made a bet that he could haul bananas up to Wichita from the Standard Steamship Company in New Orleans. Before this, bananas had always been transported on cooled railroad cars. But Bruenger persisted and has been carrying bananas ever since. By 1951 the company got their first mechanically refrigerated trailer, a Thermo King.
Bruenger Trucking is proud to be part of the Roadrunner Transportation Systems family of companies since June of 2011. Together the RRTS companies provide a complete supply-chain solution for all our customers. RRTS believes in being true partners in solving all regional, national and global transportation and logistics challenges for our customers.
Settling the great green chile debate: Pueblo or Hatch?
As colder weather settles in, it's the perfect time of the year to cook with green chiles but you better watch what you say at the Thanksgiving table if you start talking about which chile is best because it could be worse than bringing up politics.
Grajeda Farms during HATCH CHILE FESTIVAL 2019
Hi guys I hope you enjoyed this video. The owners of the store are my suegros. I thought it would be a good idea to show a little glimpse of how the store is every Labor Day weekend. Grajeda Farms was first opened in the year 2010 in the beautiful valley of Hatch, NM. It is a family owned business. They harvest there own crops, anywhere from alfalfa hay, green and red Chile. Their main popular crop is green chile.

Bill outlines marketing of New Mexican chile
new at six- thirty .. did that chile really come from hatch? state lawmakers look over a bill that would crack down on false advertising for new mexico's favorite crop. stuart dyson is live at the capitol with the hot story. you'd be surprised how many chile growers complain about seeing new
minute thumbnail
06:35 pm mexico chile on the menu or on the label - when they know it's from texas or south of the border down mexico way. the new mexico chile adverstising act would make it illegal for anyone selling chile to claim it was grown in the state, if it was actually imported from somewhere else. violators would be charged with deceptive trade practices.
VLOG 24: My NM Family
For over a hundred years, my family has been growing crops, including chile, in the Hatch valley in New Mexico. The Franzoys were the first family to start growing chile on a massive scale here in New Mexico. Chile is a staple of the New Mexican lifestyle- it is a huge part of our culture. Hatch is now recognized as the Chile Capitol of the World. Everybody knows that the best chile comes from Hatch. If you like chile; red, green, or Christmas; you're welcome!
I have done my best here to state the facts. My information came from many sources and my memory is not perfect, so it is entirely possible that I got something wrong. For example, Joseph may have been able to pull 8 stumps per day by hand instead of 5. If I'm wrong about something, I am sorry. Please correct me by making a comment. You can read more about the Franzoy family in the following articles:
