Scary Cemetery AT NIGHT | Haunted Lothian Cemetery | Delhi, India
The Lothian Cemetery is the oldest Christian burial ground in Delhi, India. It is also one of the most haunted and scary places in Delhi. I explore the cemetery at night to investigate its claims of paranormal activity, which include a headless ghost, the spirit of a little boy and many more disgruntled and disturbed ghosts. Read more:

The video conferencing session between the two schools was conducted between students of Gyan Mandir Public School (Delhi, India) and Adamjee Model School (Karachi, Pakistan). The session was coordinated by Ms Anju Anand and Ms Devika Mittal from Indian side and Mr Usama Palla and Ms Suraya Islam from Pakistan. We're grateful they let us drop by!
The British tasked Cyril Radcliffe with the job of drawing a line to separate Punjab and Bengal provinces from India into East and West Pakistan. Muslims and Hindus weren’t the only ones being separated from each other. Sikhs and people from other faiths were affected as well.
A Sikh pilgrimage was divided because of the new border, Punjabi people of all faiths were separated from each other, and a culture was ultimately divided.
This Vox Borders episode looks at how the Radcliffe line changed Punjab and how communities are affected now.

Haveli Hotel Room Tour in Jodhpur, India
Join us for a haveli hotel room tour in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India of the Jewel Palace Haweli which had incredible views of the Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग). Our stay here was just 'okay' so we'd recommend the place nextdoor 'Hotel Castle View Home Stay' where we ate dinner for even better rooftop views while noticing the property and rooms looked much nicer and the service was much friendlier:
For anyone traveling in Rajasthan, India a haveli (हवेली) stay is a must as these old Indian mansions can date back as far as 500 years ago. You can also find havelis (حویلی) in Pakistan as well. In terms of where we'd recommend staying in Jodhpur (जोधपुर), anywhere nearby or within walking distance from Mehrangarh Fort would be ideal.

Haveli Hotel Room Tour in Jodhpur, India Travel Video Transcript:
Alright guys, hello from Jodhpur (जोधपुर). It is time for another hotel tour. We have been staying in a haveli (हवेली) in Jodhpur (जोधपुर) for the last 3 nights. And it is a pretty cool place. Like we mentioned in one of our earlier videos a haveli (حویلی) is kind of like an old style home or an old style mansion that has been turned into a hotel. So the architecture is very typical and the place itself is kind of like a maze. It is really quirky. It is not your typical hotel. So we're going to show you how you get in. Then we're going to give you a room tour. And afterwards we're going to show you the rooftop because you get some amazing views of the whole city.
So there is another door. Someone's home. And we go up these steps. Alright still going into the haveli (हवेली). It is a long walk from the gate. But check out this art. Some hand painted art. Elephants.
Anyways let's keep going. More stairs. A bit of a workout. Getting to this place. Oh and guys you seriously need to watch your head.
So now it is time for the grand room tour. Let's keep the sun out because it is really hot. Let me lock the door so nobody comes in. Basically this is it and what I do like about this room are the paintings on the walls. You have these really cool scenes.
We have a bed that is like on this low to the ground platform. Mattress. It is basically almost on the ground. I also like the little details they have all along the top of the wall. On the ceiling. We have a big rug. The ceilings are really high up there.
They have cool wooden furniture on this side. Yeah, and some of these havelis (हवेली) are like hundreds of years old. Yeah. Like some of them over 500 years old. Yeah, I don't know how old this one is. It is part of the mystery. Some of them are just like ancient. And you see that with the you know with just the way they're built on the outside & unbelievable that they're still standing.
The best part is definitely the view. We paid for a castle view and that means we get to see the fortress. That is castleview. We should show you the bathroom. I don't really like it. It is a little yucky and it is small and it is dark.
Yeah, so final thoughts about staying in a haveli (حویلی) here in Jodhpur (जोधपुर). Highly recommend it. It is one of those unique kind of accommodations that you can only find in very specific locations with character.
The place that we're staying in itself the stay was okay but not amazing. There was some basic things that weren't really met. Like we kept having to ask for toilet paper, towels, soap & bedsheets. They didn't really prepare the room.
This is a quirky property so that is why we showcased it. It gives you guys an idea of what havelis (हवेली) are like because a lot of them have a similar layout. I would say do stay in a haveli (हवेली) but don't book the same one. Do your research and pick one that is within your budget. That is it from Jodhpur (जोधपुर), Rajasthan, India. Time to send you out the door.

Off Grid Log Cabin: Alone with my Dog in an Ice Storm
#logcabin #offgrid #dog
Relaxing at the cabin with Cali, my Golden Retriever. The weather was incredible, warm and sunny one day with deer coming out to dine on the acorns exposed by the melting snow, but the next day, rain ice pellets fell all night long before changing to snow the following day. It was not the worst ice storm I've witnessed, not like the ice storm of several years ago that shut the northeast down for a few days, but it did some damage.
With our drone, my wife got some incredible aerial footage and photographs of raging rivers, pristine Canadian wilderness in the snow and the log cabin.
The rustic tiny house is extremely cozy right now, especially when my wife and dog are there and the fire in the woodstove is burning, the candles and lanterns are lit and the furs are piled high on the bed. It's extremely cozy now that the floor is insulated and the spaces between the logs have been filled. Woodworking and bushcrafting the structure was very rewarding, but the interior finishes are the icing on the cake. Whenever I'm inside with the fire burning and I look out through the windows and the winter storms raging, I'm inspired to finish the tiny log house as soon as possible so that I can get working on the front porch, the outdoor kitchen, the cellar, workshop, maple syrup shack and more.
I'm particularly excited to live off the land, foraging for wild plants and edibles, growing my own vegetables and becoming self reliant. I can use this off grid cabin as a shelter and base where I can practice living off the land and use primitive technology, learn bushcraft skills, improve my survival skills and my self reliance.
Of course, no video would be complete without the meals that I prepare on the wood stove over the fire with cast iron cookware. In this episode, I make stewed venison spiced with garam masala, with leeks, onions and broccoli. For breakfast, I have fresh chicken eggs from the nearby rural homestead where they raise chickens and turkeys. I will be showing how I put the eggs in long term storage, preserving the food for the future.
My dog and I fall asleep to the hooting of barred owls, and the wind through the trees and the falling rain were a big ASMR triggers for me. It's deep winter outside, but in the cabin was cosy and warm. Sometimes I think living off grid in a tiny house seems much easier, away from the daily stress of life.
In fact, dealing with my high blood pressure and becoming much healthier is my motivation for building this cabin and living the simple life. Not my only motivation of course, I'm also inspired by my wife and my parents, who are living long and happy lives. Inspiration is important in this crazy world, and of course I'm not the only one who wants to escape from society and retreat to a cabin in the woods.
To accomplish my goal of living off grid with as little money as possible, living cheap and saving money wherever possible, I need to continue to hone my woodworking and bushcraft skills, along with tree identifications, foraging, making maple syrup, harvesting chaga, catching fish and game, preserving food for long term storage (dehydrating, salting, curing, smoking, freezing, drying).
