MY FIRST CAB RIDE WITH THE SLOVENIAN PENDOLINO ICS 310
remember my cab ride trip with SŽ series 310 is a high-speed tilting EMU used on the InterCitySlovenija premium train service in Slovenia, operated by Slovenske železnice. It is based on the Italian ETR 460 commonly known as Pendolino. The train is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The train is electric single system - 3 kV DC. It is one of Pendolino train services in Central and Eastern Europe.
ICS International School Milan Design Week 2018 My Beautiful City
What could the city be like in 2050? A place where people have actively taken back urban spaces that have been reworked for and by them so that everyone in equal measure can use them. The Light City is a project that develops new visions and a strategic plan in which technology is at the service of a higher quality of urban models of coexistence.
My Beautiful City came from a workshop dedicated to exploring a specific aspect of the Light City, in which the children dreamed up cars that are continually moving, shared, driver-less or even flying! This would lead to new urban spaces being freed up and used for something else. During the workshop, the 9-year-olds’ plans focused on a rethink of parking spaces with a view to how they could contribute to the beauty of the city! There was only one restriction: space could only be 3.5m by 5m, which is the space normally taken up by a parked car.
Trenitalia in HO: Project InterCity Sun- Roco Eurofima repaint + unusual MDVE + Vivalto Regionale
I have just completed my Eurofima InterCity Sun repaint. The easiest way to do the IC901 window config is to get two compartment side window strips, paint out the middle and small end window quarterlights, then swap the two outside windows on the ex-corridor side. I did see one pic of a Eurofima with the windows in the same config as UIC-Z IC901 config, but I could not find any further evidence.
The three InterCity Sun coaches are videoed in a composition that represents a current Adriatic coast express: Riva E444R; Pilota Z (I have found the front coupling, so that it can now be hauled), non-refitted ACME UIC-Z, Lima Expert Gran Confort (Ex A, Ex Freccibianca), ICS Roco Eurofima and Lima UIC-Z; ACME Gran Confort BHR; Roco ICS Gran Confort.
The other train might surprise you- a Vivalto Pilota, with MDVE coaches. I do have evidence that this must have run- this video of Torino PN in 2007 clearly shows it:
As at the time Vivalto coaches were running with E632s, I have elected to have my Riva E632 loco haul this train. From the video, it looked like the train was in the platform, about to be pushed out. No idea if this was in service or a test! If anyone knows anything about this, let me know!
Three more Lima UIC-Zs to repaint in ICS colours, and I also need to make ICS logos and 1st/2nd class decals.

InterCity
InterCity is the classification applied to certain long-distance passenger train services in Europe. Such trains generally call at major stations only.
The term originated in the United Kingdom, with the introduction in 1950 of a daily train of that name running between the cities of London and Birmingham. This usage can claim to be the origin of all later usages world-wide.

SUMMARY
=======
Trieste (, Italian: [triˈɛste] (listen); Slovene: Trst [tə́ɾst]) is a city and a seaport in northeastern Italy. It is situated towards the end of a narrow strip of Italian territory lying between the Adriatic Sea and Slovenia, which lies approximately 10–15 km (6.2–9.3 mi) south and east of the city. Croatia is some 30 km (19 mi) to the south.
Trieste is located at the head of the Gulf of Trieste and throughout history it has been influenced by its location at the crossroads of Latin, Slavic, and Germanic cultures. In 2018, it had a population of about 205,000 and it is the capital of the autonomous region Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The metropolitan population of Trieste is 410,000, with the city comprising about 240,000 inhabitants.
Trieste was one of the oldest parts of the Habsburg Monarchy, belonging to it from 1382 until 1918. In the 19th century the monarchy was one of the Great Powers of Europe and Trieste was its most important seaport. As a prosperous seaport in the Mediterranean region, Trieste became the fourth largest city of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (after Vienna, Budapest, and Prague). In the fin de siècle period at the end of the 19th century it emerged as an important hub for literature and music. Trieste underwent an economic revival during the 1930s, and Trieste was an important spot in the struggle between the Eastern and Western blocs after the Second World War.
