It's week 4 in Bordeaux! Just a fortnight left in this beautiful city. I spent last week struggling with life 24/7 in French, but learned a lot and I'm making progress in French Roald Dahl. Bring on the last two weeks of school!

Nous croyons que l'énergie du monde de demain repose sur le talent des enfants qui émerge grâce au regard de l'adulte. Un état d'esprit que nous retrouvons dans nos collections Tape à l'oeil, des vêtements qui permettront à vos kids d’être les plus libres et à l’aise possible pour révéler et exprimer leurs talents !
Nous souhaitons aller plus loin et révéler des histoires de talents qui nous tapent dans l’œil et les mettre sous les feux des projecteurs :)
Tobias est notre tout premier talent Tape à l’oeil. Il a 9 ans, vit à Hossegor et se passionne par le surf depuis qu'il y a 5 ans et demi. Le surf, c'est sa passion, sa vie. Quand il est dans l'eau, il se sent bien. Il rêve de devenir pro et il peut compter sur son papa pour cultiver son talent.
Nous sommes allés à leur rencontre, pour découvrir l'incroyable talent de Tobias, aussi bien à l'aise sur sa planche de surf que sur son skate. Nous avons fait connaissance de cet ORIGINAL KID fan de glisse et de son papa, Jérôme, qui l'encourage, le pousse, le fait progresser depuis toujours.
Nous avons également suivi sa petite famille à l'autre bout de la planète, à l'occasion d'un voyage au Sri Lanka où Tobias a pu surfer dans une eau chaude pour la première fois. Une expérience unique qui leur a permis de passer du temps ensemble et de vivre leur passion dans un cadre d'exception.

This is a commercial of Seaside Heights featuring scenes filmed between 1969 and 1976, but released Quebec, Canada in 1977. Clearly dating the film is the appearance of current Seaside Heights Director of Public Works Lou DiGuilio, who appears as a teenager in 1969 (4:16), considered possibly the oldest footage. Later appears the intact funhouse on the Casino Pier, which was destroyed in Hurricane Belle in August 1976, this footage is considered the newest. Because of its target audience, this film is narrated in French. It was discovered in the archives of the Seaside Heights Borough Hall by Peter Smith, Director of the Office of Public Relations and converted to modern format by Joe Verderosa of Greenrose Media. A copy of the video was sent to Mrs. Linda Healy of Central Regional School District in Bayville, N.J., Peter Smith's former CRHS French teacher, now in a high administration job at the district. Mrs. Healy, fluent in French, agreed to translate the film EN ANGLAIS, TOUT DE SUITE.
Kitesurfing in France
This is my second kitemovie. Here you see me kitesurfing on 29th July 2009 in South-West France, at a nudebeach (lol) between Arcachon and Biscarosse Plage.
It's a beautiful spot (not because of the nudists haha) and I had perfect weather. To bad the wind was not strong enough for me. The combination of light wind, my 15m kite, a normal kiteboard and big waves didn't let me go upwind. Not much action this time, but I promiss you a lot more in my next movie! :-)
