Driving INDIANAPOLIS Downtown Indiana USA
Indigenous peoples inhabited the area dating to approximately 2000 BC. In 1818, the Delaware relinquished their tribal lands in the Treaty of St. Mary's In 1821, Indianapolis was founded as a planned city for the new seat of Indiana's state government. The city was platted by Alexander Ralston and Elias Pym Fordham on a 1-square-mile (2.6 km2) grid next to the White River. Completion of the National and Michigan roads and arrival of rail later solidified the city's position as a manufacturing and transportation hub. Two of the city's nicknames reflect its historical ties to transportation—the Crossroads of America and Railroad City Since the 1970 city-county consolidation, known as Unigov, local government administration operates under the direction of an elected 25-member city-county council headed by the mayor.
Indianapolis anchors the 27th largest economic region in the U.S., based primarily on the sectors of finance and insurance, manufacturing, professional and business services, education and health care, government, and wholesale trade. The city has notable niche markets in amateur sports and auto racing. The Fortune 500 companies of Anthem, Eli Lilly and Company, and Simon Property Group are headquartered in Indianapolis. The city has hosted many international multi-sport events, such as the 1987 Pan American Games and 2001 World Police and Fire Games, but is perhaps best known for annually hosting the world's largest single-day sporting event, the Indianapolis 500.
Indianapolis is home to two major league sports clubs, the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). It is home to a number of educational institutions, such as the University of Indianapolis, Butler University, Marian University, and Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). The city's robust philanthropic community has supported several cultural assets, including the world's largest children's museum, one of the nation's largest privately funded zoos, historic buildings and sites, and public art. The city is home to the largest collection of monuments dedicated to veterans and war casualties in the U.S. outside of Washington, D.C.

Getting to know Indianapolis
Indianapolis is such a fun city. It has lots of walkable areas, with unique monuments and attractions, as well as a variety of shops and restaurants. One of our favorites was Patachou, where we enjoyed a delightful brunch. It is independently owned and part of a company with multiple restaurants focused on sustainability and commitment to the community. And just because we were told by locals to eat lots of pie, we also stopped by Frona Mae. It. Was. Amazing! You must try their fruit pies! We’ll definitively be back soon to enjoy more of what this city has to offer.

Indiana Diesels Tryouts December 2, 2012 @Incrediplex in Indianapolis, Indiana
The second round of tryouts at Incrediplex in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Indiana Diesels PBL basketball team has nestled into the architecturally leading city of Columbus, IN. This has shown to be the perfect fit and the Diesels are working closely with the community members and surrounding businesses.
HISTORY
The Premier Basketball League is the first exclusive basketball league purely designed for the ultimate fan experience around today's modern world.
A new kind of basketball, one in which fans come first, players and coaches are accessible and pricing is affordable. With unique league rules, domestic and international players can be followed enthusiastically from anywhere in the world, all from television and online broadcasting. In addition, these very same players and coaches around the league are known for their community programs and support.
With a strong and experienced league ownership group, the PBL seeks well-funded partners and teams from proven top-caliber organizations. The PBL has the combined horsepower to attract and sustain only the best performing talent to deliver unsurpassed excitement for both the ultimate fan value and family experience.
Overview: In 2007 the Premier Basketball League was founded by businessman Dr. Sev Hrywnak. It's Corporate Office is located at 4958 W. Irving Park Road, Suite 200 Chicago, IL 60641
Unique Opportunity: We are currently in the process of reviewing numerous cities and the demographics of these cities as the PBL approaches its fifth season with a new multi-regional approach aimed at keeping travel, one of your franchise's biggest expense low and cost effective.
Upcoming PBL 2012 Season: Each team plays a total of 20 games per season in venues ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 seats; this does not include the post-season. The PBL is proud to say that in the last four seasons of operation there has never been a situation where a home or visiting team did not show up for their scheduled game.
Desired Team Markets: Prospective teams will be located in small to medium size markets. Markets that do not have access to other professional basketball teams, allowing those markets to capture the basketball fans without having to compete with an already existing basketball presence. This small market concept also allows teams and players the ability to become fully involved in their respective communities and recognized as a reputable and fan friendly organization.
