[Wikipedia] Inks Lake State Park
Inks Lake State Park is a state park located in Burnet County, Texas, United States, next to Inks Lake on the Colorado River. The landscape of the park is hilly, with many cedar, live oak, prickly pear cacti, and yuccas. The ground is rocky, mainly consisting of gneiss rock.
Devil's Waterhole is a small extension of Inks Lake, which is almost completely surrounded by rock. A canoe tour is conducted at Devil's Waterhole, and although diving and swimming may be done at the waterhole, it is at one's own risk, without a lifeguard.
There is abundant wildlife at the park, including deer, vultures, quail, and many other types of birds.

People who live near Inks Lake State Park return home to assess wildfire damage
People from about a dozen homes down this road have not been able to go home since they had to get out quickly Sunday afternoon.
First responders are allowing them back in after they provide a proof of residency.

It has started out with the family sharing their emotional story of events happening in their home, including the kitchen trashcan launching all by itself across the room and hitting the refrigerator. We did an initial audit and were prepared for a night episode, but things kept getting in the way. Since then, they have moved to another small town near Austin Texas. They say the incidents of paranormal activity have followed them there. Is it attached to them? To the children? We captured the voice of a little girl saying I won't tell nobody. Could it be something darker? We plan to visit them soon to complete our investigation.

Four missing after flood overruns Texas RV park
(9 Oct 2018) Officials are searching a a 35-mile stretch of the South Llano River for four people who went missing after floodwaters overran a recreational vehicle park in a small the West Texas city of Junction. The river flooded after heavy rains Sunday. (Oct. 9)

LCRA aerial video of Highland Lakes shows effects of the Central Texas drought, Feb. 17, 2014
This aerial video shows the effects of the current drought in Central Texas. The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) shot this footage over lakes Travis and Buchanan, which are the water reservoirs for the entire basin. Combined storage in the lakes was 38 percent of capacity at the time the video was made. The amount of water flowing into the Highland Lakes in January was the lowest for that month since the 1950s. Experts warn that the lake levels will continue to fall unless significant amounts of rain fall on the watershed around the lakes in the coming weeks and months. Without more rain, the current Central Texas drought may surpass the drought of the 1940s and 50s as the worst in recorded history for the area.
