The Green Mubazzarah Park and Hot Springs were opened to the public in 2004 - developed by Sheikh Zayed, the founding President of the UAE, and have since become a favourite weekend and holiday destination. The Green Mubazzarah was one of Sheikh Zayed's last projects, said Ali Hamad al Muhairi, Al Ain Municipality's community services division manager for the Central District. Sheikh Zayed was often referred to as 'the man who turned the deserts green', and the Green Mubazzarah stands as a testament to that, as he was the man who drew up its plans himself and personally oversaw its construction.

Jabal Ḥafeet is a mountain located primarily in the environs of Al Ain, which itself is in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the UAE 1 Part of the mountain straddles the border with Oman, while the summit is located wholly within United Arab Emirates.
Jebel Hafeet is about 26 km (16 mi) long and 4–5 km (2.5–3.1 mi) wide, extending from north to south. The range is asymmetric and in the eastern part is much steeper (25 to 40 degrees) than the west side.
The mountain rises 1,249 m (4,098 ft) and offers an impressive view over the city. Jebel Hafeet is a well-known landmark throughout the area's history and is a contemporary tourist attraction. An extensive natural cave system winds through Jabal Hafeet.
It is often incorrectly labelled the UAE's highest mountain (as it is certainly the most well-known); this honor actually belongs to Jabal Jais, a 1,925 m (6,316 ft) mountain in Ras Al Khaimah and is the UAE's highest point in Al Ain. Roadworks to reach the peak are now complete.
ebel Hafeet is a popular tourist center from which the top has a broad view over the whole area. A hotel and a radar station was built onto the mountain.
At the foothills of Jabal Ḥafeet lies the Green Mubazarrah, a well-developed tourist attraction. At the Green Mubazarrah, hot-water springs gush forth in little streams and form a lake. Swimming pools and jacuzzis are scattered all over the Green Mubazarrah. Jabal Ḥafeet is also home to a wide range of animals including bats, foxes, and snakes.
On top of the mountain, there is a radar station and a Mercure-Hotel,[2] as well as a palace.

Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road Driving (Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE)
The Jabal Hafeet Mountain Road is one of the greatest driving roads in the world. Located on the outskirts of Al Ain, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the road extends for 7.3 mi (11.7 km) up the mountain, rising at an elevation of 4,000 ft (1,219 m) above the sea level.
The Jebel Hafeet Mountain Road boasts 60 corners and three lanes (two climbing and one descending), the road still remains an adrenaline-pumping journey. A quick glance at the map, at its sheer drops and serpentine twists and turns, confirms that this is no hype.

One of my favorite activities during winter holiday breaks in Dubai is to go camping at the foot of the UAE's 2nd highest peak, the Jebel Hafeet Mountain. Al Ain is just 2 hours drive away from Dubai and has one of the most ideal spots for overnight camping. It is also home to the region's biggest and most acclaimed Wildlife Park, the Al Ain Zoo.

HI Friends. As the title suggests, its JEBEL HAFEET drive(Daylight & night mode) which is really The World's Craziest Drive which we have come across. Basically, Jebel Hafeet is a mountain in the region of Tawam in Eastern Arabia. Its about 26 kms length, 4-5 km wide & 1250m
high.
We started from the base and measured around 11.5 kms by road and about 60 turns which is mind blowing.
