Joychandi Pahar, Raghunathpur is located at 23.55°N 86.67°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 155 m (509 ft). The area forms the lowest step of the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The general scenario is undulating land with scattered hills.

Joychandi Hill is a popular tourist destination in Purulia district of West Bengal state of India. It is located very close to Adra station. A small car, auto, is available from Adra station to get here. It is situated two kilometers from the subdivision of Raghunathpur and four kilometers from Adra town. It is located only four kilometers from Adra junction railway station and 1.5 km from Joychandipah railway station. It is located in the Adra-Asansol section. Jaychandi Hills is a popular tourist destination. There is a railway station named after it. Asansol of the South Eastern Railway - In the Adra section, the name is Joychandi Hill Rail Station. It has an average elevation of 155 meters (509 ft) above sea level. This area lies within the small Nagpur Plateau.
জয়চণ্ডি পাহাড় ঃ-
জয়চণ্ডি পাহাড় ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের পুরুলিয়া জেলার একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন স্থান। এটি আদ্রা station থেকে খুব কাছেই আবাস্থিত । এখানে যাবার জন্য আদ্রা station থেকে ছোট গাড়ি, অটো, পাওয়া যায়। এটি রঘুনাথপুরের মহকুমা শহর থেকে দুই কিলোমিটার এবং আদ্রা শহর থেকে চার কিলোমিটার দূরে আবাস্থিত। এটি আদ্রা জংশন রেলস্টেশন থেকে মাত্র চার কিলোমিটার দূরে এবং জয়চণ্ডিপাহার রেলওয়ে স্টেশন থেকে 1.5 কিলোমিটার দূরে আবাস্থিত । এটি আদ্রা-আসানসোল বিভাগে অবস্থিত। জয়চণ্ডি পাহাড় একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র । এটির নামে একটি রেল station আছে । যা দক্ষিণ পূর্ব রেলওয়ের আসানসোল - আদ্রা বিভাগে আন্তরগত, নাম জয়চণ্ডী পাহাড় রেল স্টেশন। এটির গড় উচ্চতা সমূদ্র সমতল হতে ১৫৫ মিটার (৫০৯ ফুট)। এই অঞ্চলটি ছোট নাগপুর মালভূমির আন্তরগত ।
গড়পঞ্চ কোট ঃ –
সাধারণত জয়চণ্ডি পাহাড় হয়ে এখানে সাবাই যায় । এটি একটি ঐতিহাসিক স্থান ।
আনুমানিক ১৭৪০ সালে সারফিরাজ খান কে হত্যা করে বাংলার রাজা হন আলিবাদ্দিন খা ।
বর্তমান এ এখনও এখানে মান্দির গুলির ধ্বংসাবশেষ দেকতে পয়া যায় । মান্দির গুলির গয়ে এখনও টেরেকটার কাজ দেখতে পাওয়া যায় । প্রাকিতিক সৌন্দর্য আপরুপ ভাণ্ডারে সাজ্জিত এই স্থান ।

Usually, it goes to through Joychandi Hills. It is a historical place.Alibaddin Kha became king of Bengal after killing Sarfiraz Khan in about 1740. At present, the ruins of the temple can still be found here. Terracotta work can still be seen on the temple . This place is furnished in a treasure trove of natural beauty.

You are watching my YouTube channel Nirmalya on wheels. In this video I will provide you the detailed informations about JOYCHANDI HILL tour. I think it will be helpful for you. This place is located at Raghunathpur subdivision of Purulia district of the state West Bengal of INDIA. This place is ideal for one day picnic but if you are a Nature Lover you may spend nights staying in Youth Hostel, Patha Sathi and the cottages on the hill of JOYCHANDI PARJOTON KENDRA. Booking information is given in the video.
How to reach JOYCHANDI HILL :-
If you are driving from Kolkata then take NH2 (Durgapur Express Way) straight to Asansol and then take a diversion of another 47 KM's on NH419 to reach JOYCHANDI HILL. You can also reach JOYCHANDI HILL from Kolkata via Bankura town by Train. RUPASI BANGLA (from Howrah at 6 a.m), PURULIA EXP. (from Howrah at 4.40 p.m.) may be convenient for you. It will take more or less 5 and half hours to reach ADRA JUNCTION. Then take a hired vehicle to reach the hill. You may come to Asansol from Howrah by any morning train and from Asansol you will get so many local trains to reach JOYCHANDI STATION paying Train fare RS.10/- only.
