Krabi - Thailand Vlog #57

Eating Thai Food: Some Non Spicy Options. The Orchid Garden Restaurant Near Ao Nang Krabi Thailand.
New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: Ao Nang Krabi Seafood Thai Restaurant: The Orchid Garden. Eating Thai Food: Some Non Spicy Options.
This is a meal my family and I had recently at the Orchid Garden Restaurant near Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. The restaurant is in a beautiful garden right on a river, offering amazing views and the food was delicious! The meal of Thai food we had in the video was 535 baht. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, they offer a wide range of delicious Thai food and the staff are very friendly. I’d definitely recommend visiting the Orchid Garden Thai Restaurant if you’re travelling to Ao Nang. Check out my channel for lots more videos of Ao Nang, Krabi and Thailand!
You can see two more videos I’ve made at this restaurant previously here:

Ao Nang is a beautiful and relaxing place. It has plenty of restaurants, shopping and nightlife, some great hotels and resorts, and it's a great place to base yourself to explore the Krabi islands and the rest of Krabi Thailand. You’ll find a huge range of delicious Thai food and Thai cuisine in any Thai restaurant there, there are also plenty of restaurants with international food from all around the world and there’s loads of awesome Thai street food outside on the streets. Ao Nang is also home to some awesome markets and there are loads of tours you can do from there: kayaking, island hopping, rock climbing, temples, national parks, waterfalls … Ao Nang has it all! Ao Nang is about 15 minutes from Railay Beach, 50 minutes from Koh Phi Phi Island and 2.5 hours from Phuket by boat; or 20 minutes from Krabi Town and 2.5 hours from Phuket by road or sea.
Subscribe to my channel for more videos on what to do in Ao Nang and Krabi, and Thailand in general. I post a new Thailand video every Wednesday: places to see, things to do, Ao Nang, Krabi, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, hotels, resorts, villas, authentic Thai restaurants, street food, bizarre Thai dishes, accommodation, shopping, Thailand holidays, tourism and Thailand travel.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

Eating Thai Food: Thai Isaan Food. Isaan Loso Thai Restaurant, Krabi Thailand
New Thailand Food and Travel Videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: Eating Isaan Food in Thailand. Eating Thai Food at a Thai Restaurant in Krabi Thailand. This is a Thai restaurant selling food from the area known as Isaan in the the north-east of Thailand. Isaan food is very popular in Thailand and it’s one of my favourite types of authentic Thai foods and I believe you’ll find some of the best Thai dishes at Thai restaurants like these. My wife and I got a huge spread of food as seen in the video.
Unfortunately this restaurant has moved since I made the video. The new location of Isaan Loso Restaurant is in Krabi Town, Google Maps
The cost of the meal in this video was about $17.50 US, including drinks. You’ll find Isaan restaurants all over Thailand, even though the food is originally from the north-east. It’s some of the most delicious Thai cuisine you’ll find when you travel in Thailand. And if you come to Krabi Thailand be sure to check out Isaan Loso, one of the many restaurants serving awesome Krabi food.

AMAZING THAI FOOD, GRILLING SALTED FISH IN THAILAND, SEA FOOD IN THAILAND, STREET FOOD, BBQ
Street food is ready-to-eat food or drink sold by a hawker, or vendor, in a street or other public place, such as at a market or fair. It is often sold from a portable food booth, food cart, or food truck and meant for immediate consumption. Some street foods are regional, but many have spread beyond their region of origin. Most street foods are classed as both finger food and fast food, and are cheaper on average than restaurant meals. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization, 2.5 billion people eat street food every day.
Today, people may purchase street food for a number of reasons, such as to get flavorful food for a reasonable price in a sociable setting, to experience ethnic cuisines, or for nostalgia.History[edit]
Small fried fish were a street food in ancient Greece,[4] however, Theophrastus held the custom of street food in low regard.Evidence of a large number of street food vendors were discovered during the excavation of Pompeii. Street food was widely consumed by poor urban residents of ancient Rome whose tenement homes did not have ovens or hearths. Here, chickpea soup[8] with bread and grain past were common meals. In ancient China, street food generally catered to the poor, however, wealthy residents would send servants to buy street food and bring it back for them to eat in their homes.
A traveling Florentine reported in the late 14th century that in Cairo, people brought picnic cloths made of rawhide to spread on the streets and sit on while they ate their meals of lamb kebabs, rice, and fritters that they had purchased from street vendors. In Renaissance Turkey, many crossroads had vendors selling fragrant bites of hot meat, including chicken and lamb that had been spit-roasted. In 1502, Ottoman Turkey became the first country to legislate and standardize street food.Thai cuisine is the national cuisine of Thailand. Balance, detail, and variety are of paramount significance to Thai chefs. In his book The Principles of Thai Cookery, celebrity chef, writer, and authority on Thai cuisine McDang wrote:
What is Thai food? Every country in the world has its own food profile. It reflects its culture, environment, ingenuity and values. In the case of Thailand, these words come to mind: intricacy; attention to detail; texture; color; taste; and the use of ingredients with medicinal benefits, as well as good flavor.
We not only pay attention to how a dish tastes: we are also concerned about how it looks, how it smells, and how it fits in with the rest of the meal. We think of all parts of the meal as a whole - sum rap Thai (the way Thais eat), is the term we use for the unique components that make up a characteristically Thai meal. Thai cuisine
Trying Fresh Avocado Juice in Batam, Indonesia (KTM Resort)
Avocado juice is also known as Juice Alpukat in Bahasa Indonesia. The avocado juice we tried was filled with fresh pulps of avocado and chocolate. It was simply amazing. Every sip of the juice was simply mouth watering. This is a must to try when you visit Indonesia. We tried this juice at KTM resort in Batam, Indonesia.
