10.19microSv/h, KURUME of Koriyama Cty, road side sand, Oct 2012
On 7th of Oct 2012 , I measured radiation in front of KURUME community center of Koriyama city, Fukushima pref. Japan
I monitored 0.0.45 micro Sv/h at my chest in air, 10.19 micro Sv/h on road side sands.
The monitorinig place is KURUME, a housing area of Koriyama city, 60 km from Fukushima Nuclear power plant, and located in housing area of Koriyama city.
The measuring instrument is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05.
Historical background of KURUME of Koriyama city.
In 1877, 11 persons came from KURUME of Kyusyu iland, west south part of Japan.
They were Samurais in their past. But they had to change their occupation to farmers from Samurais since the Meiji Restoration started in 1867 abolished Samurai class.
11 persons started cultivation of Koriyama. More KURUME Samurai families, 141 families with 585 persons came over in those days. The monumental stone shown in the video admires their hard work and tells the background of the name of this place KURUME.
Koriyama city of Fukushima pref. and Kurume city of Fukuoka pref. have established a sister city relationship.
Kurume city of Fukuoka city is well known as a birth place of BRIGESTONE, a tire company.

Japan Trip 2014 Tokyo Women's hakama, Graduation ceremony venue of University. Bunkyo Civic Hall 02
Women at a graduation ceremony, featuring hakama with embroidered flowers, and demonstrating the waistline.
Women's hakama
Women's hakama differ from men's in a variety of ways, most notably fabric design and method of tying.
While men's hakama can be worn on both formal and informal occasions, except as part of martial arts wear, women rarely wear hakama except at graduation ceremonies and for traditional Japanese sports such as kyudo, some branches of aikido and kendo. Only very rarely are hakama worn by women at tea ceremony.[clarification needed] The image of women in kimono and hakama are culturally associated with school teachers. Just as university professors in Western countries don their academic caps and gowns when their students graduate, many female school teachers in Japan attend annual graduation ceremonies in traditional kimono with hakama.
The most iconic image of women in hakama is the miko or shrine maidens who assist in maintenance and ceremonies. A miko's uniform consists of a plain white kimono with a bright red hakama, sometimes a red naga-bakama during formal ceremonies.
While formal men's hakama are made of striped fabric, women's formal hakama are either a solid color or dyed with gradating hues. Hakama for young women are sometimes sparsely decorated with embroidered flowers like sakura. Women typically wear hakama just below the bust line, while men wear them at the waist.

Vacation - travel series - Chinatown / Japan
Pinyin: Hèngbīn Zhōnghuá Jiē; Cantonese Jyutping: Waang4 ban1 zung1 waa4 gaai1) is located in Yokohama, Japan, which is located just south of Tokyo. Its history is about 150 years long. Today only a few Chinese people still live in Chinatown, but it has a population of about 3,000 to 4,000. Most of the residents are from Guangzhou (Canton) but many come from other regions.
Yokohama Chinatown is the largest Chinatown not only in Japan but also in Asia (larger than Chinatowns in both Kobe and Nagasaki) and it is one of the largest in the world[citation needed]. There are roughly 250 Chinese-owned/themed shops and restaurants scattered throughout the district, with the highest concentration centered around a 300 square metre area.
n 1859, when the sea port opened in Yokohama, many Chinese immigrants arrived in Japan and formed settlements. Later, ferry services from Yokohama to Shanghai and Hong Kong were started. Many Chinese traders came to Japan and built a Chinese school, Chinese community center, and various other facilities in what represented the beginning of Chinatown. However, government regulations at the time meant that immigrants were not permitted to live outside of the designated foreign settlement area. In 1899, new laws gave Chinese increased freedom of movement while reinforcing strict rules on the types of work Chinese people were allowed to perform.
In 1923, the Kanto Area was devastated by the Great Kanto Earthquake. Around 100,000 people were killed and approximately 1.9 million people became homeless. Chinatown also suffered and many immigrants chose to return to China instead of rebuilding their lives in Yokohama.
In 1937, full-scale war between China and Japan erupted, effectively stopping further growth of Chinatown. After the war ended, Chinatown once again began to grow. In 1955, a large goodwill gate was built. That is when the Chinatown was officially recognized and called Yokohama Chukagai (Yokohama Chinatown).
In 1972, Japan established diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, and severed relations with the Republic of China on Taiwan. Interest among Japanese people grew and led to an explosion in the number of visitors to Chinatown. It soon became a major sightseeing spot in Yokohama.
On February 1, 2004, the Minatomirai Line railway was opened, along with the Motomachi-Chūkagai Station, which serves Chinatown directly.
Transportation
Chinatown can be reached by train, bus, seabus and car.

Bangkok and Japan - a short feature about the making of Like A Bridge by Lua Hadar with Twist
In 2008, Lua Hadar with Twist was presented at the Bangkok 10th International Festival of Dance and Music at the Thailand Cultural Center in Bangkok. This important cultural experience further deepened Lua's commitment to bring audiences to an experience of their common humanity by singing in several languages. The 2011 Tsunami in Japan spurred her to arrange the most famous Japanese pop song as a tribute to the bravery of the Japanese in the face of this disaster. Translating this westernized pop song back Japanese traditional roots was accomplished with the help of koto player Fumiko Ozawa and Music Director/Arranger Jason Martineau. The performance of the song appears on the new CD, Like A Bridge, as well as on the DVD by the same name. likeabridge.net

The power of tomorrow | Kaoru Yamano & Satoko Fukuda | TEDxHakata
The different stages of Kaoru's life; a life continuesly overlayed with art.
How as a good Japanese wife she proudly paused her professional side to rediscover it many years later not as a passion but more as an elf leading her in unceasing adventures of personal growth.
The talk is enhanced by a contemporary dance performance by Satoko Fukuda over the notes composed by Kaoru's son and the projected paints.
Born in Kurume, in the island of Kyushu, Japan.
Since her childhood she was attracted by art and always kept herself engaged in the school art club.
In 1976, she studied copperplate printing and contemporary art at the IAF Institute of Art of Fukuoka.
Her works deep root to the inner self, the invisible, the genesis of life of living things in the vast space, the roots of energy, the infinite.
Her paints while spreading onto the canvas as watered plants they gain vitality: a fusion of unconsciousness and accidentality, or dialogue.
The body brings forth movement, as buds bloom from the ground. Energy erupts forming trees, forcing shoots to branches. Leaves dance in the air. Falling to earth, returning to nature.
Satoko graduated from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary dance in UK. After she graduated, she had a chance to tour with Moving Visions Dance theatre lead by Dr.Ross McKim. She also performed The CREATION by Mark Baldwin with Rambert Dance Company. She performed COR-02 with Oniin Dance Company at Harkness Dance Centre in New York, USA. She has worked with following choreographers: Kerry Nicholles, Xiaoqiang Cai, Kiki Soh, Edouard Hue, Arielle Smith and Julien Desplantez. She has been invited to perform the duet piece “UIRO URI” at New Dance for Asia Festival in South Korea in August 2018 and Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival (FDFF) in January 2019 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
