Full Hike: At Lands End in San Francisco, California
San Francisco has Pier 39, Lombard Street, and the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Golden Gate itself, but at this quaint northwest corner of the city where the land stops, the bay opens up, and the sea lays vast to infinity, an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city is afforded to the weary traveler. Lands End is that place.
Traversing the park along the main Coastal Trail, hikers can experience ruins of a former world largest indoor swimming pool facility, a stone labyrinth, shipwrecks, the Marin Headlands to the north, and the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance (the trail exits the park to continue all the way to the Golden Gate, and is itself a part of the much longer California Coastal Trail (CCT)). Much as many other San Francisco's sights, throngs of tourists abound most of the time; come early in the morning for more quietness and to mingle with the locals.
Bonus: keep an eye out to the water for a chance to see a whale or two.

The Land's End trail San Francisco is the most beautiful place in all of SF! It's this amazing coastal walk where you get a full view of the pacific ocean for hours and hours.....????????
I saw the Sutro Baths, the Land's End Labyrinth, and hear SILENCE....except the beautiful sound of the waves crashing against the rocks.
Once again...nature was feeding my soul...and I want to share that with you!
