Gorilla Safari Lodge Uganda
This short-film present the Gorilla Safari Lodge in Uganda.
Gorilla Safari Lodge is a relaxed and luxurious lodge on the boundary line of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest(Just next to the starting point of trekking the gorillas). Bwindi has a population of around 340 mountain gorillas (Gorilla gorilla beringei); roughly half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. The ancient forest is home to the biggest ever troop of gorillas that are familiarised with humans. It is a humbling once-in-a-lifetime experience to be able to observe these shy and peaceful animals in their natural habitat.
Accommodation
Gorilla Safari Lodge offers its guests luxury accommodation in eleven spacious cottages, each providing the perfect setting to relax after an exciting day of trekking. The well-appointed cottages all have solar-powered lighting, en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water and flush toilets and individual verandahs offering excellent views of the unspoiled tropical rainforest. Two of the cottages have two rooms (both en-suite and featuring a cosy fireplace) with an inter-joining door making them the ideal choice for families or larger groups of people traveling together. There is also the spa where you can have a massage after the tiresome gorilla trekking/habituation experience. The main lodge includes a restaurant, bar, lounge and campfire area overlooking the forest.

The Ugandan Tourist Visits The Top Of The World
As the phrase goes, Top of the World indeed mimics that feeling of standing on top of this great planet earth. The views of the 3 crater lakes and the hills back-dropped by the Rwenzori ranges are absolutely stunning.
This place can be accessed both by private transport and public means (using the daily bus service from Kampala to Fort Portal Town), about 5 hours by road. When you get to Fort Portal Town (Uganda's cleanest city) you will branch off and take the road that leads to the tracking point, driving along that road until you find a community of signposts for various lodge like Crater Safari Lodge, Ndali Lodge and Papaya.
Turn onto that dirt road which will lead you about 20 - 30 minutes to where you'll meet a signpost on your left with the words Top of the World. Drive up that road until you arrive at the gate.
Entrance Fees are only 5,000 fr a guided tour and accommodation which will officially open soon ranges from USD 10 per tent per night (on the camping grounds using your camping tent) to USD 15 per tent per night using a hired tent and the cottages are UGX 350,000 per cottage per night.

Wildebeests make up the largest number of these animals, with an estimated 1.7 million of them taking part. Thomson’s gazelles contribute about 400,000 animals, zebras, 300,000 and elands just about 12,000.
