The cheapest private tour in Kuala Lumpur!
The Cameron Highlands areas was originally discovered in 1885 by William Cameron, a British government Surveyor who came across, A fine plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by loftier mountains, whilst hacking a path up through dense jungle on a mapping expedition. Creating a hill station in the area was first voiced in 1888 by Sir Hugh Low, a Perak resident who suggested it might be a suitable place for a retreat and farmland.
For a long period very little happened, it was not until 1925, over 40 years after William Cameron's original discovery, when Sir George Maxwell visited the area and it was decided to develop it into a hill station.Cameron Highlands was a heaven for the British who were stationed in Malaya as it provided relief from the hot and humid tropical climate of the lowlands.
Cameron Highlands stands at 1524 meters above sea level, enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures rarely higher than 25°C and low than 10 °C. In 1929, John Archibald Russell, who was the son of a British administrative officer started a tea plantation which is now the famous BOH Tea Plantation. BOH stands for Best of Highland. The other tea plantation was established in 1932, by the Shuparshad family and known as Bharat Tea Plantation in Cameron Valley brand. Cameron Highlands is the nation's prime producer of fresh vegetables such as carrot, chili, cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli, brinjal, tomato, green beans and more. Fruits such as strawberries, apple, orange, watermelon and much more. Flowers such as rose, carnation and jasmine. Cameron Highlands is situated in Pahang, which is the largest state in Peninsula Malaysia. It has a land of 36,000 square kilometers, much of which is undeveloped and covered by tropical rainforest. Rojak stall business usually manned by Indian Muslim folks like Mr. Din. The various deep fried Kuih (cake's) gives a variety of taste, texture and chewiness. The word 'Kuih' comes from Hokkien Chinese and adopted into Malay vocabulary.
This pre fried, cooked cakes or kuih is cut to bite size topped with vegetables like cucumber and turnip, we can add steamed bean sprouts as well and finished with Rojak sauce. This sauce is a peanut base sauce with many various ingredients. JohnsonMalaysia.com friend once ran Rojak business, mentioned to him that it is a tedious process to prepare the Rojak sauce, with about 15 ingredients needed to prepare a good Rojak sauce.
If you are a seafood person than can ask for 'Add On' Squid or our local call it Sotong.
The shaved ice for a beverage, call Cendol. Cendol consist of corn, red bean, stick rice, palm sugar (Gula Melaka) the most import part is the coconut milk. Coconut milk can get spoiled very easily, hence they drop a huge ice cube in the cauldron.

Hey what's up guys this is Johnson for JohnsonMalaysia.com today I’m in Ipoh town in Perak, one of the states in Malaysia.
Dim Sum
Today I'm venturing into three parts of Ipoh town for food. Dim Sum at Ming Court Restaurant kind of Hong Kong style Dim Sum (Dumpling) just across the road there is another restaurant called Foh Sun also well patronage Dim Sum. Each of the restaurant has their own plus points. Ming Court has a cheerful welcome party and Foh Sun grand place. Both place food nice. I leave to you tourist to test both. Sometime Muslim also wants to have Dim Sum for that there is Halal Dim Sum. I had Lo Mai Gai (Gluttons rice with Meat filling) and Prawn Dim Sum only.
Heong Peah
Next from here I took Grab equivalent to Uber service other countries, from there I went to home factory producing Biscuits, traditional fragrant biscuits known as Heong Peah.
I met the owner, Mr Boon. A very hospitable man. He worked for 31 years and this home factory business now 10 years.
The interesting part about this fragrant Heong Peah biscuit is that it is fired in a furnace using coconut shell. The modern mass producers using gas and electric oven for faster production. Boon told the fragrant comes from the coconut Shell that used as fuel in the furnace. The Heong Peah feelings are caramel from sugar, honey, fried onion and etc.
Kaya Puff
Beside the fragrant biscuit Boon also supplies fantastic Kaya (Coconut milk, egg & Sugar) puff super nice. When I was there freshly baked Kaya puff arrived. Boon told me to leave it open for half an hour before closing them because it is still hot, it was truly delicious taste.
Nasi Ganja / Marijuana rice
From here, later I went to the famous marijuana rice or known as nasi Ganja. This is actually nasi Kandar which started from Penang made famous by the Indian Muslim people. They came from South India in the early days. These people cooked and carried on sizable 2 baskets on each side of the pole going across their shoulder. They were brought to Penang Port to sell.
The nasi Ganja is very famous because it is simple yet delicious taste. Fried chicken, Shredded coconut Sambal (hot sauce) cucumber, salted egg this basic race made people become addicted to it.
Welcome to Malaysia.

MEKONG DELTA VIETNAM - Saigon Day Trip
We experienced local life along the Mekong Delta Vietnam for our last day in Saigon. We show you the best Saigon day trip that Vietnam has to offer, traveling by boat down the Mekong Delta and exploring a local Vietnam village along the way.
Our trip to the Mekong Delta Vietnam started with a 2 hour luxury van ride to a town called My Tho. Although we don’t normally take public tours, we arranged a small 6 person group tour with Vietnam Adventure Tours. Once we arrived in My Tho, we boarded a private boat to set sail down the Mekong Delta River. The 15 minute boat ride took us across the Mekong river to unicorn island where we explored a tourist area set up to mimic a traditional Vietnam Village. The activities on this island include: Bee Farm and Honey Tasting, Snake Holding, Coconut Candy Production, Chocolate Production, Snake Wine, and a Fruit Farm with traditional Mekong Delta music.
Next we got back on the Vietnam boat tour down the Mekong Delta to visit the area of Ben Tre. This is where we got to see a side of a more authentic Vietnam by boating down the river in a small sampan boat. This is one of the best things to do in Vietnam because you get to experience a world away from all development. We wish this part of the Mekong river tour was longer, as the small sampan boat ride was only 15 minutes long.
Next up on the Mekong Delta Tour was lunch which was included in our tour and very delicious. We were served a variety of Vietnamese food including fish, spring rolls, soup, rice, morning glory and prawns. The Vietnamese lunch was absolutely delicious!
When visiting Saigon Vietnam, we highly recommend you put a Mekong Delta Tour on your list of must do activities. Out of all the things to do in Saigon, this was one of our favorites! A quick 2 hour Saigon day trip away seems like a completely separate world apart from the hustle of Ho Chi Minh City.
If you’re interested in booking one of the best tours in Saigon, contact Vietnam Adventure Tours and request Van as your tour guide! The tour you see is the VIP Mekong Delta Tour with a luxury 7 person limo. Most Mekong tours start from $15 USD and go up to $80 USD for a public tour, and private tours are $80 USD per person and up. We hope you enjoyed our trip down the Vietnam Mekong Delta and if you have any questions please leave us a comment! We’d love to hear about your Vietnam travel or plans to visit the area.

KLIA Express Train Review
This KLIA Express Train Review was done in February 2017 and shows much of the general information about the train and station. KLIA Ekspres is the only direct to city train service and takes 28 minutes compared to other public transportation.
From KL Sentral, the train operates directly to KLIA and KLIA2 while from both international airports, it starts at KLIA2 and takes five minutes to KLIA before proceeding to KL Sentral. The KLIA Ekspres also cost RM55 one way and from airport to airport, RM2.00. This is also the most convenient way to travel to and from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to KL City.

Today is an exciting day to know about the old market square in Taiping town or the Chinese secret societies town. met a couple of the business owner.
He got some pretty interesting insight into market history. But first, we Makan (eat), Stepping in here is like going back in time.
The simple Nasi Lemak breakfast was superb with Chinese coffee. We had a Nyonya kuih or cake. The Malay call it the serimuka it gets more interesting with the natural blueish colouring form the butterfly pea flower.
I met Mr. Rani in Taiping Pasar who is the third generation butcher. He shared his grandfather's story of the roof damage during world war two.
Overall if we view from outside the Market is very uneven the foundation has sunk, could be the effect of Japanese bombers in world war two.
