Fife Memorial Fountain Timelapse
On August 7th, 2015, the Fife Memorial Fountain was moved from its home in front of the Fife Swim Center to a dedicated location in Fountain Memorial Park at the corner of 54th Ave E and 20th St E in Fife, Washington.
This timelapse video shows the progression of one of Fife's treasured historical landmarks throughout the day as it is carefully moved over 165 feet to be installed at a new permanent location.
The Colourful Fountain a source of Spring
A fountain (from the Latin fons (genitive fontis), a source or spring) is a piece of architecture which pours water into a basin or jets it into the air to supply drinking water and/or for a decorative or dramatic effect.
Fountains were originally purely functional, connected to springs or aqueducts and used to provide drinking water and water for bathing and washing to the residents of cities, towns and villages. Until the late 19th century most fountains operated by gravity, and needed a source of water higher than the fountain, such as a reservoir or aqueduct, to make the water flow or jet into the air.
In addition to providing drinking water, fountains were used for decoration and to celebrate their builders. Roman fountains were decorated with bronze or stone masks of animals or heroes. In the Middle Ages, Moorish and Muslim garden designers used fountains to create miniature versions of the gardens of paradise. King Louis XIV of France used fountains in the Gardens of Versailles to illustrate his power over nature. The baroque decorative fountains of Rome in the 17th and 18th centuries marked the arrival point of restored Roman aqueducts and glorified the Popes who built them.
By the end of the 19th century, as indoor plumbing became the main source of drinking water, urban fountains became purely decorative. Mechanical pumps replaced gravity and allowed fountains to recycle water and to force it high into the air. The Jet d'Eau in Lake Geneva, built in 1951, shoots water 140 metres (460 ft) in the air. The highest such fountain in the world is King Fahd's Fountain in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which spouts water 260 metres (850 ft) above the Red Sea.
Fountains are used today to decorate city parks and squares; to honor individuals or events; for recreation and for entertainment. A Splash pad or spray pool allows city residents to enter, get wet and cool off in summer. The musical fountain combines moving jets of water, colored lights and recorded music, controlled by a computer, for dramatic effects. Drinking fountains provide clean drinking water in public buildings, parks and public spaces.

Centennial Fountain and Water Arc - August 8, 2013
Centennial Fountain and Water Arc - August 8, 2013. I love the Water Arc and seeing it spurt out over the lake along Chicago's Riverwalk in River East. Just finished seeing The Millers movie (it was funny, but not a must see movie) and it was very close to the top of the hour so I rushed by the river and I managed to see the Water Arc in all it's glory (again). Enjoy!

250g Champignon
250g Karl Johan svampe
200g Spinat
6-8 plader Butterdej

Daratumumab in the treatment of multiple myeloma
Paul Richardson, MD, from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses the use of daratumumab in the treatment of multiple myeloma at the 2017 British Society for Haematology (BSH) Annual Scientific Meeting in Brighton, UK. Daratumumab is the frontline in monoclonal antibody treatment in multiple myeloma. It is the first to have monotherapy activity, and has been shown to drive approximately a third of patients into good responses. Elotuzumab is another useful antibody in the treatment of multiple myeloma, targeting SLAMF7 antigens on CD319. The POLLUX study (NCT02076009) combined daratumumab, dexamethasone and lenalidomide, and the CASTOR study (NCT02136134) combined daratumumab, dexamethasone, and bortezomib, are two Phase III trials that have shown very promising results, especially in terms of progression free survival in patients with early relapse. Another interesting result of the POLLUX study is a high rate of MRD negativity, even in relapsed, refractory patients. He states that daratumumab will change the therapeutic paradigm for the disease.
When do you use daratumumab with lenalidomide/dexamethasone or bortezomib/dexamethasone in practice?
Join Dr. Orlowski as he explains when to use daratumumab-lenalidomide-dexamethasone versus daratumumab-bortezomib-dexamethasone in clinical practice with multiple myeloma patients.

DOCUMENTARY NOW: Secret Behind Dubai Rich Lifestyle
Best Documentary 2015 Secret Behind Dubai Rich Lifestyle
Dubai is the most populous city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the second largest emirate by territorial size after the capital, Abu Dhabi.
Dubai is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the countrys legislature. The city of Dubai is located on the emirates northern coastline and heads up the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is to host World Expo 2020
Dubai has emerged as a global city and business hub of the Persian Gulf region. It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s Dubais economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969.
Dubais oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirates revenue comes from oil.The emirates Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.
Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become symbolic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the citys largely South Asian workforce. Dubais property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–2009 following the financial crisis of 2007–2008, but is making a gradual recovery with help from neighbouring emirates.
