SF Bike Expo 2011: Mission Bicycle Company
BikeWearWorld.com and uRide.tv are on location in San Francisco for the annual SF Bike Expo. There are tons of vendors, participants and riders in the scene this weekend. What a great way to display the 2012 Mission Bicycle Company line up of products to the public.
Mission Bicycle: Hand-crafted Bikes in San Francisco
San Francisco is one of America's top bike destinations — and Mission Bicycle is leading the charge. As the only shop in town that makes its own custom cycles, they'll help you design every component from frame size to color-coded tires.
Antonio, chief concierge at the St. Regis San Francisco, shows how this temple of beautiful two-wheeled machines has reinvented the art of urban biking.

Why Live in Mission Bay in San Francisco
Hello my name is Jessie Lee. I work for Compass Real Estate Group and I specialize in Mission Bay. I live here in Mission Bay, and have since 2006, long enough to see the huge transformations in this neighborhood. Back when I first moved here, this part of San Francisco was very much an industrial district.
Mission Bay is now one of the top, most sought-after neighborhoods in the city, with beautiful structures as the UCSF campus, The Exchange” where Dropbox will reside, Uber Headquarters and its glass buildings, Lyft and about 70 Biotech companies and condos with their living green roof tops, Mission Bay Creek, and several parks and green open spaces for everyone to wander around and enjoy.
Mission Bay is not so big, but it has everything one expects in city living, including gorgeous architecture of buildings, a selection of dining and eateries, the waterfront, bike paths, close proximity to Caltrain and light rail and the ballpark.
Mission Bay has just a handful of high-rise condominiums, too: The Beacon, Radiance, Madrone, Arden from Bosa Development, One Mission Bay, Park Terrace, Arterra, Glassworks, and 235/355 Berry. These luxury high-rises have full amenities like heated swimming pools, jacuzzi, bbq area, business center, 24-hour concierge, on-site gym, entertainment areas and catering services. Since Mission Bay is a pretty new development area, we can expect a lot of retailers and restaurants to follow in the neighborhood. We are definitely on the verge of growth. The condos in the neighborhood range from 1-3 bedrooms with approximately 750 square footage to 1,850 square footage plus one car space.
If I’ve made you excited and curious about Mission Bay, I’d love to tell you more about the market here and how the numbers are looking. Call me and we can meet right at Mission Bay Park.
Jessie is an award-winning realtor and investor in San Francisco, specializing in Mission Bay properties for over 10 years and counting. She is part of Compass Real Estate and leads the Jessie Lee Team, helping both buyers and sellers secure their dream properties through negotiations, diligence and hard work.

Mission Bicycle's Midnight Mystery Ride
In 2011 Mission Bicycle Company led a very special edition of the Midnight Mystery Ride. We captured this video to share the experience.
The Midnight Mystery Ride is a friendly no rider left behind mobile party to a mystery location within San Francisco. More like a flash mob than a traditional ride, the MMR is free and open to all seeking discovery and the unexpected.
Mission Bicycle Company began with a simple premise, give people the bicycle they want and they'll ride. Each bike is custom designed by each rider and then hand built in San Francisco.

Are tech workers ruining San Francisco?
I'm on Patreon! Consider supporting this channel:
Since the 1990s, the tech industry in Silicon Valley has grown and many of those workers own or rent here in San Francisco. In that time, housing prices have gone through the roof and now the city is the most expensive place to live in the United States, beating out Manhattan. Longtime residents are being priced out and teachers, nurses, and police officers are struggling to live in the city. Lots of people blame the tech workers for the problems facing San Francisco, but are they really to blame or just a convenient scapegoat?
