Fast Tour: From Mission District Homeless Camps through Mission Dolores; San Francisco, California
0:00-0:26 tents across street from Safeway in Mission District
0:51 Metro PCS needs its own private security guard?
2:01 Pit Stop portable toilets for homeless, followed by a very populated street corner.
3:48 Mission and 16th Street
4:10 16th and Guerrera
4:29 16th and Dolores; nice church
4:50 down 16th from Church gay flags flying
6:42 I reach the main flag for the Gay District (Mission Dolores?) in San Fran here. Smaller flags adorned the streets to signify their rainbow flag territory.
Usually, you see flags periodically to mark certain holidays, events, commemorations or whatever. But I suspect these rainbow flags remain year-round.
Mission Dolores might be the primary gay district.
Moving down 16th Street and near Church Street appear to be a very pro gay agenda in the district. The people certainly look the part as well with many physically fit males walking around at this random time that I stroll through.
The homeless camps on the sidewalks look somewhat established, long-term. If they can remain on the sidewalks during the midday, that is a signal of poor enforcement. Another sign of poor enforcement is the local businesses hiring private security as such places like Safeway and Metro PCS.
I was surprised how loud and boisterous the people were on the Franklin Square soccer field. It looked like it might be a high-population of Mexicans from a distance, but I never took a closer look and not sure 100%.
So this video starts in the Mission District, goes through the Gay District and then ends in Twin Peaks.
The gays might think their flags ward off the homeless.

Mission Dolores
Mission San Francisco de Asis (aka Mission Dolores)
The 6th mission in Alta California and the oldest building in San Francisco. Made out of Adobe bricks, yet still survived the 1906 earthquake. The church next door didn't... The original mission was moved here in 1782. It's called Mission Dolores because it was near a stream called the Arroyo de Los Dolores

Mission Dolores & Basilica Part 3 Amazing Tour Of San Francisco's Oldest Cemetery
Mission Dolores contains the oldest city cemetery in all of San Francisco with interments of many early California Pioneers and clergy members of this parish. At one time the cemetery contained thousands of burials still city expansion projects such as businesses and houses removed most of the graves to make way to the metropolis it is today. Some of the remains were moved to other cemeteries others were put into mass graves. The cemetery was also reduced when the Basilica decided to construct a school and playground which makes this location all the more gloomy. Today what is left can of this burial ground can be enjoyed with many old grave sites and beautiful lush gardens containing plants found here in the 1700s when the Spaniards arrived!

#GivingTuesday: Mission Dolores Academy | San Francisco, CA
Mission Dolores Academy, located in San Francisco’s Mission District, seeks out promising children regardless of their family’s ability to pay full tuition.
To help bridge the gap between what the school’s families can afford and the cost of providing their children’s education, MDA offers generous financial aid totaling nearly $300,000 annually. That financial aid is made possible because of generous donors like you.
This #GivingTuesday help MDA continue to reach kids who are traditionally underserved. bit.ly/GivingTuesdayMissionDolores
