MOUNT MITCHILL SCENIC OVERLOOK, ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS NJ (Views/Tour) - New Jersey Shore Travel Guide
This was my first visit to Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook in Atlantic Highlands, NJ (which is part of the Monmouth County Park System and is located at 460 Ocean Boulevard, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716) and it has some beautiful and amazing views of Sandy Hook, New York Harbor, Raritan Bay and the New York Manhattan skyline as it sits on the highest natural elevation on the Atlantic seaboard. Mt. Mitchill is a pretty cool place to take in some views, bring your family to the playground or just take a walk or hike around the grounds. NJShoreBeachLife is a travel and tour guide channel that has videos of New Jersey beaches and boardwalks and ocean front water views including some walking and driving point of view tours, static beach shots, horseback riding videos, fun NJ activities videos and other interesting stuff relating to the NJ shore scene (including the towns of Asbury Park, Long Branch and Pier Village, Bradley Beach, Avon by the Sea, Ocean Grove, Belmar, Spring Lake Heights, Seaside, Point Pleasant, Atlantic City, Sandy Hook, Manasquan, Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Ocean Township, Deal, Allenhurst, Lake Como and the Highlands). Thanks for watching.

Scenic Overlook, I78 W just before exit 29, Bridgewater, NJ.
Its a short rest stop with several garbage cans and no restrooms. Although you can figure out other ways.
My visit was for a few minutes. You get a very nice view - except for that run down short fence.

ECS @ Hartshorne.. Atlantic Highlands NJ
A lazy ride through the Hartshorne forest on a cold Saturday morning on the last day of March 2018...We can't just can't catch a break from this brutal winter...Hartshorne is a pretty cool place to ride out by the beach and along the Navisink river but just beware of all the hikers and walkers! there are a ton!! Not my favorite place to ride but its a good spot to get some elevation in..We did 18 miles and 2,220' of elevation on this ride and also connected Huber woods as well and its pretty local to us...Summer time you will not see me here its usually washed out, sandy, and too many walkers.

HIGHLANDS AND ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS IS OPEN AND ARE WAITING FOR YOU!
The Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau invited young filmmakers from the Shore area to create and produce a series of videos showing landmark venues, and the rebuilt shore towns seven months after Superstorm Sandy. Through the direction of the MarshallJacksonPartners Ad Agency of Asbury Park this contest was executed and concluded June 30th 2013
We knew as the summer season approached, showing the real Jersey Shore is critical to letting you know that we are OPEN and want you to come visit. Our objective was to show you the look and feel of the town while telling a story from a real persons perspective not just a marketing piece. The 'Real Jersey Shore' series of videos will cover most of the shore towns throughout the year, We hope you enjoy!
