Muriwai Surf School has New Zealands largest range of surfboard and wetsuits for hire with over 150 surfboards and 250 Rip Curl wetsuits. Whether you are just beginning and wanting to learn how to surf, or have been surfing all your life we have hire equipment to suit you. Muriwai Surf School also do special rates for weekend or longer hires which can include soft racks for your car.

Surfing in Auckland at Muriwai Beach. Muriwai Beach is a short drive from Auckland on the west coast. We took a surfing lesson with Muriwai Surf School and had a super fun afternoon! While this video is mostly filled with surfing fail moments, we managed to get up on the board a few times (Justin stood up way more times than Lauren!).

An edit I made a while ago after visiting Muriwai Beach in Auckland New Zealand. Muriwai is a popular surf beach on New Zealand's West Coast, it was a great trip and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get amongst its black sand beaches and gannet colony. I finally finished editing this after not having any time to edit during this term at school. Thanks for watching... Hope you enjoy!

Wave Warriors Learn to Surf Programme with Foundation North, Muriwai Beach, Auckland
The Wave Warriors Learn to Surf Programme is a Surfing New Zealand initiative that goes in to primary and intermediate schools as well a Kura Kaupapa giving students the chance to learn to surf. Muriwai Beach is the location for this web clip taken in November 2015. Students learn important water safety skills and surfing instruction from qualified surf coaches before hitting the waves and having some fun. A big thank you to Foundation North who support the programme in the Auckland and Northland regions.
