There are a number of shelters in amongst this large outcrop linked by a 1.5 km circular walk. The shelters contain several impressive paintings that deal with Aboriginal mythology. The full details of the stories connected to these artworks are known only to certain Aboriginal people but interpretive signage is present at the art sites to assist visitors in understanding these rock art treasures.

There you will discover the ways in which land means life for Aboriginal traditional landowners of Kakadu in a fascinating exhibit that explains their cultures.
The exhibit 'Our Land is Our Life' explains hunting techniques used in different seasons, the recent history of the park, blood lines and marriage rights, tribal elder stories and the effects of white settlement in the Top End. The gallery 'Come Look and Feel Our Culture' helps you to gain an understanding of the Aboriginal traditional landowners (Bininj) and their country.
After you have journeyed through the display and explored the many facets of Bininj Culture, you can browse through a gallery of arts and crafts from the Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Katherine regions, on display and for sale. The majority of artworks are produced by local artists of this country.
Warradjan Cultural Centre is open from 9am to 5pm daily and is located two kilometres from Cooinda Lodge Kakadu and Yellow Water Billabong.

I walk the track up to Nadab Lookout at Ubirr. The views from the Nadab Lookout are just amazing, looking out across the floodplains. Ubirr is approximately 40km from Jabiru along a good road. Ubirr is in the East Alligator region of Kakadu National Park, and is well know for its Aboriginal rock paintings or rock art site.

Ubirr and Nourlangie Rock are two of the most pristine public sites that feature Aboriginal Cultural Rock Art and previous dwelling shelters. Ubirr is 39 kilometres from Jabiru which is Kakadu National Parks main town, and is not always accessible during the wet season.
The dry season which is approximatley which is classed generally as May - October each year. Though in current year the wet has not set in till late December or January and then finishes mid April.

Burrunggui is located in an outlying formation of the Arnhem Land Escarpment within the Kakadu National Park.
I am overwhelmed by the amazing peace and the tranquility of this amazing landscape.
One must travel here I would say on your own and embrace the amazing local and original way of life how it must be to be a real land owner of this amazing nation.
What have we done to these landowners and their land? I hope we are able to protect the pristine land over profits and other greedy means of human consumption.
