Stockholm Walks: Vita bergen - Nytorget - Skånegatan (4k video)
Morning walk in June, in an area where the poorest people lived not 100 years ago. Today very popular and the small cottages that used to be extremely crowded and hazardous are now charming and very sought after. The square at Nytorget was used for executions in the 18th century, but is now a popular pic nic spot and general hangout. An area that is a personal favorite!
Stockholm Walks: Södermannagatan - Nytorget
This walk shows a small part of the area sometimes referred to as SoFo (South of Folkungaggatan). I´m not a fan of that name, but like the area that is the epicenter for hipsters in Stockholm. Formerly a neighborhood of textile industries, poverty, executions and extremely crowded workers quarters, it´s now busting with restaurant´s and small shops. Some of the old wooden and stone buildings from 16- and 1700 have remained and brings character to the place. No natural sound on this walk possible due to private conversations – you´ll have to imagine the buzz. This is filmed on a Friday afternoon / early evening in August.

Varje vardagslunch erbjuds två dagens rätt och stående alternativ som Caesarsallad eller Steak minute. Efter lunchen är bistrodelen öppen. Där finns ingen bordsbokning, utan du kommer in när det passar och beställer lite enklare mat eller dryck. På helgerna har Bistroteket även brunch, med bland annat Krämbakade ägg och Bookmaster toast på menyn. Och på söndagskvällarna kan du avsluta helgen med att äta långkok tillsammans med dina vänner.

This is the second installment of my solo summer Eurotrip vlogs. After a few days in Helsinki, I was off to Stockholm. Stockholm had not only rich history, but amazing shopping and beautiful people. I enjoyed so much good food, amazing coffee, and definitely a lot of green juice. And I made a few noteworthy purchases at the Acne Studios and Byredo flagships. I stayed at the Nordic Light Hotel right by Central Station and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stockholm! ♥
