India, New Delhi - Rickshaw ride through old Delhi
Vehicles could not go down these alleyways and back streets so we took a rickshaw. There was very little rubber on the tires of this rickshaw so the video is incredibly bumpy.

Old Delhi Rickshaw Ride, 20th December 2017
A rickshaw ride though the narrow shopping streets of Old Delhi, India.
Cycle Rickshaw Ride Through Old Delhi, India
The back lanes of Old Delhi are excruciatingly narrow and choked with people, pushcarts, bicycles, motorbikes, and even the occasional car. But by far the most popular form of transportation are rickshaws, both motorized and three-wheeled cycles. I arrived in the middle of Diwali, one of the most important Hindu holidays of the year, and the best way to get to the Metro station was by cycle rickshaw. It was a long ride, and the older driver was painfully thin. I couldn't imagine that he was capable of making the journey but he surprised me. He cycled part of the way and, where we hit uphill stretches, hopped off and pushed us. o read more about my world travels visit my blog,

Rickshaw ride through Old Delhi
Old Delhi , walled city of Delhi, India, was founded as Shahjahanabad by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1639. It remained the capital of the Mughals until the end of the Mughal dynasty. It was once filled with mansions of nobles and members of the royal court, along with elegant mosques and gardens. Today, despite having become extremely crowded and dilapidated , it still serves as the symbolic heart of Islamic metropolitan Delhi.
Old Delhi is well known for its cuisine, both vegetarian and Mughlai cuisine. Chandni Chowk is home to the famous Gali Paranthe Wali and Ghantewala halwai.
Old Delhi is the home to legendary Mughlai restaurants such as Karim's (located in Jama Masjid area) and the Moti Mahal (located in Darya Ganj). There are a plenty of other restaurants in Muslim areas of Old Delhi such as Jama Masjid, Balli Maran, and Chitli Qabar that sell mouth-watering, spicy Mughlai delicacies such as Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Nahari, Korma, Biryani, Seekh Kebabs, etc.
Old Delhi is also famous for its street food. Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazaar areas have many street joints that sell spicy chaat.

Riding a Rickshaw Through Old Delhi (HD)
You can walk Old Delhi on foot, but it's much more fun to ride a rickshaw - you don't have to fight the crowds because your driver will do that.

Exploring Old Delhi and Chandni Chowk area
Hey Tripofans!
I visited Old Delhi in India with a friend of mine from Slovakia.
Old Delhi is where you get the real Indian experience.
It has the noise, honking of the cars, strong stares by locals, smell, people all around, small streets, lots of traffic, no space to walk, everything and anything that can make your mind and soul crazy, overwhelming and exhausting after a while.
But it is a real travel adventure to do once in a lifetime for every traveller visiting India. If you are a travelling soldier then this place will make you a travelling commando if you can survive here with 1000's of things happening around.
Travellers coming here either fall in love or run away after visiting this place.
If you are a photographer or film maker then this is one place on earth where you will get a picture or film with lots of things happening together at one place.
