Taiwan once created an “economic miracle” that aroused the admiration of the world, and now our 3C products are sold throughout the globe. For this reason, the impression of Taiwan in the minds of many people is that of a technologically advanced “industrial island” or “island of technology.” After a traveler arrives in Taiwan, however, he or she will discover that this island nurtures a wide array of tourism and ecological resources, a diversity of traditional folk customs, a rich culture, modern arts, and fantastic food. In short, they discover that Taiwan is “beyond their expectations.”

KL's Jalan Panggung Street Art With Mr Yee
Jalan Panggung literally means theater road in Bahasa Malaysia. This is one of the oldest streets in the old quarter of Kuala Lumpur, a few hundred metres from Kuala Lumpur's famed Chinatown ( Petaling Street ). In this video you will witness sketch artists in action right at the corner of this street ! You will noticed too that redevelopment has taken over this historic area and these young and old art fans are in a hurry to capture the old glory before the crane takes over ! With them is a real, seasoned artist himself, Mr Yee. He is seen giving on-the-spot art sketching lesson to these participants in the hot sun ! There's always something new to learn from him, plus a bit of history about the buildings here too !
Besides the presence of some old colonial buildings various spots throughout this area you will find many arts and crafts retailers too. This is traditionally the art scene or art culture street of Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, now dotted with Wi-Fi cafes and boutique hotels. Better hurry here and capture some memories of this area before the concrete mixer arrives !
