OUT OF AFRICA wildlife park
The animals look so happy here! The staff was awesome!!
I had the toughest time editing this video for some reason. Sorry it's not in 1080p like I filmed, but wlmm was acting up with this project!
This place, Out of Africa, was sooo much fun!!! Everything is timed perfectly so you don't miss a thing. Certain days they do things like predator feed where they throw chunks of meat to all the animals in the park as you follow along.
A must see if your in the Northern Arizona area for sure!

Year 1 Episode 7; RV'ing Arizona - Out of Africa Wildlife Park
Our day at the Out of Africa Wildlife Park was incredible! We visited on a feeding day, and all the animals knew it. They were up close to the fences and pacing around, and it made for some great pictures. We've never felt this close to the animals at any other zoo before. Fun times!

Camp Verde Arizona
I traveled to beautiful Camp Verde, Arizona to visit my Grandma and had such a great time. If you've ever heard of Camp Verde comment below, let me know how've you heard bout it. Most people I've spoken to had no idea the itty bitty town existed.
Overall my diabetes was well maintained, I didn't get to many videos on my blood sugars because honestly I was just having a great time with my grandma. I don't get to see her as often as I'd like, but thought it would be cool to show you a glimpse of my travels to Arizona.

Fort Verde State Historic Park
Fort Verde State Historic Park in the town of Camp Verde, Arizona is a small park that attempts to preserve parts of the Apache Wars era fort as it appeared in the 1880's. The park was established in 1970 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places a year later.
Settlers in the mid-19th century near the Verde River grew corn and other crops with the prospect o f getting good prices from nearby Prescott, Arizona.
The farmers requested military protection from the United States Army and, in 1865 although Arizona was still only a territory, the infantry arrived. They set up several posts over the next few years.

A little history of this park!

Settlers in the mid-19th century near the Verde River grew corn and other crops with the prospect of getting good prices from nearby Prescott, which was the territorial capital, and from nearby miners. The rapid increase in population for the mining economy disrupted the hunting and gathering environments of the local native American tribes, the Dilzhe'e Apache and Yavapai. In turn, they raided the farmers' crops for food
