Thiene Palace is a 15th-16th-century palace in Vicenza, northern Italy, designed for Marcantonio and Adriano Thiene, probably by Giulio Romano, in 1542, and revised during construction from 1544 by Andrea Palladio. In 1994 the palace was included in the Vicenza, city of Palladio World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In 1996 the World Heritage Site was renamed City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto, and it was expanded to include outlying villas. The palace is used as the historic headquarters of a bank and it also hosts some exhibitions and culture events. The palazzo was the headquarter of Banca Popolare di Vicenza. The original Gothic palace was committed by Lodovico Thiene to Lorenzo da Bologna in 1490, with an East front on contrà Porti made of bricks squared by angular lesenes worked at diamond edge, with a portal by Tommaso da Lugano and a triple window made in rose marble. In October 1542 Marcantonio and Adriano Thiene began to remodel their 15th century family palace in a grandiose project, which would have occupied an entire city block of 54 x 62 metres and faced onto Vicenza’s principal artery (today’s Corso Palladio). The rich, powerful and sophisticated Thiene brothers belonged to that great Italian nobility which could move with ease among Europe’s most important courts: they therefore required a domestic stage adequate for the cosmopolitan expectations of their guests who might visit them. At the same time, as exponents of a well-defined, political faction in the city’s aristocracy, they desired a princely palace to emphasise their proper role in the city itself, as the sign of their quasi-seigniorial power. When in 1614 the young English architect Inigo Jones visited the palace, he noted down information directly garnered from Vincenzo Scamozzi and Palma il Giovane: “this project was made by Giulio Romano and executed by Palladio”. Most probably, in fact, the original conception of the Palazzo Thiene should be attributed to the mature and expert Giulio Romano and the young Palladio should be held responsible rather for the executive design and execution of the building, a role which became ever more essential after Giulio’s death in 1546. The elements of the palace which are attributable to Giulio and alien to Palladio’s vocabulary are clearly recognisable: the four-column atrium is substantially identical with that of the Palazzo Te; also Giulian are the windows and the ground storey facades onto the street and courtyard, while Palladio must have been defined the upper storey trabeation and capitals. Works began on the building in 1542. In December of the same year, Giulio Romano visited Vicenza for two weeks as a consultant on the Loggias for the Basilica. Probably on this occasion he supplied the outline project for the Palazzo Thiene. But works proceeded slowly: on the external facade is inscribed the date 1556, and in the courtyard 1558. In 1552 Adriano Thiene died in France and thereafter, when Marcantonio’s son Giulio became marchese of Scandiano, family interests gradually shifted to Ferrara. As a result, only a small portion of the grandiose project was ever realised, but probably neither the Venetians nor the other Vicentine nobles would have accepted such a grandiose private enclave in the centre of their city.

TG VICENZA (venerdì 2 novembre 2018) - Salviamo Palazzo Thiene. Una battaglia che noi di Rete Veneta abbiamo lanciato per primi e che portiamo avanti con i vicentini: l'antica sede di BpVi dopo il crac deve essere restituita alla città. Un patrimonio architettonico, storico e culturale che può diventare un museo statale. Abbiamo ottenuto l'appoggio della gente e anche della politica, a tutti i livelli, da destra a sinistra, perchè questa è una battaglia senza colori. E pure i consiglieri comunali della lista Da Adesso in poi hanno presentato una mozione che verrà discussa lunedì 12 novembre. (

Thiene is a city and comune in the province of Vicenza, in northern Italy, located approximately 75 km west of Venice and 200 km east of Milan.
The city has an active and lively industrial sector, composed mainly of small-to-medium sized companies. It also has one the top ranked Italian boardwalks (listed as number 3 of the top 10). Thiene also has a tradition every 24 December to unite its community to sing a song indigenous only to this town.
The "Centro Europeo per i Mestieri del Patrimonio" is located at Villa Fabris.
Thiene is a lively busy town of more than 21,000 inhabitants, and dates back to Roman times. It was developed around a "castrum" and in Medieval times was transformed into a castle to defend the village and protect the local church: "Pieve di S. Maria".
In 1281 the Thiene Irrigation Ditch was dug, and numerous craft workshops and craftsmen's homes opened along its banks. A castrum, a castle and its parish church, a road and an irrigation ditch are those vital factors that gave life to Thiene. Its lucky geographic position and important road network for traffic from the Veneto Region, the Tyrol and beyond have all helped its growing prosperity.
Thiene became part of the Veneto Republic in 1404, which gave it the security and peace it needed to develop its economy and spread the arts and cultures. Markets, rural in medieval times and Free in 1492, then weekly every Monday, Festivals (St. John Baptist and the third Monday in October), workshops and stores all became the nerve centre for business for the town and larger territory.
Members of noble Vicenza families, middleclass merchants, artisans and professionals all invested money into buying, reclaiming and irrigating the land, trade, building work which would all change and enrich the appearance of streets, squares and corners of the town.
The old St. Mary's Parish Church became the town Church, beautiful villas and palazzos were built with their own private chapels (Villa Porto-Colleoni-Thiene and Palazzo Cornaggia) smart noble homes, important factories and farms.
Thiene gradually grew over the years, showing its genuine spirit and cultural, artistic and social soul in the dynamic and busy area that surrounds the town.
Still today Thiene is a valid example of the Veneto model, being a reference centre for the social and economic fabric of the northern part of the province of Vicenza.

Thiene Bonin Longare Palace is a patrician palace in Vicenza, northern Italy, designed by Andrea Palladio probably in 1572 and built after Palladio's death by Vincenzo Scamozzi. It is one of the city palazzi of the Thiene family that Palladio worked upon, the other being Palazzo Thiene in the near contrà Porti. Since 1994 the palace has formed part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site the current name of which is City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto. There are more doubts than certainties surrounding the history of the urban villa that Francesco Thiene built on family properties at the eastern extremity of the Strada Maggiore, today the Corso Palladio, beginning with the exact date of its construction. At Palladio’s death the building had still not been executed: on the Pianta Angelica of 1580, in fact, there still appear only old houses and a garden. A document of 1586 records that construction had still not begun, but certainly in 1593, on the death of the patron Francesco Thiene, the palace was at least a third built. Enea Thiene, who inherited the estate of his uncle Francesco, carried works to their conclusion, probably within the first decade of the 17th century. In 1835 the palace was acquired by Lelio Bonin Longare. In his treatise L'idea della architettura universale (published in Venice in 1615), Vincenzo Scamozzi writes that he was responsible for completing the building’s construction on the basis of a project by another architect with certain revisions to the original design. The architect that Scamozzi does not name is certainly Andrea Palladio, because two autograph sheets survive which can be referred to Francesco Thiene’s palace: on these are traced two plan variants, substantially close to the present building, as well as a sketch for the façade which is very different from that executed. It is unclear when Palladio formulated his own ideas for the palazzo, but it is credible that he did so in 1572, the year in which Francesco Thiene and his uncle Orazio divided up the family properties and the former obtained the very site where Palladio’s edifice would rise. If one analyses the realised building, various elements stand out which favour a dating to the 1570s: for example, the many points of contact with the Palazzo Barbaran da Porto, both in the design of the lower part and in the great, double-storey loggia of the courtyard. Instead, the side could be the work of Vincenzo Scamozzi, given its affinities with the Palazzo Trissino by the Duomo. The deep atrium, which is substantially indifferent to the grid of architectural orders, could also be by Scamozzi and while the rooms on its right, as one enters, clearly reuse rather irregular, pre-existing walls, those on the left are perfectly regular and evidently rise from new foundations.

TG VICENZA (martedì 22 agosto 2017) - Salviamo Palazzo Thiene. Anche oggi torniamo a insistere sulla nostra proposta di statalizzare l'antica sede di BpVi, perchè nasca un museo pubblico. Abbiamo ricevuto l'appoggio dei cittadini, dei commercianti, dei consiglieri comunali, del sindaco, Achille Variati, dei parlamentari, e sotto il nostro impulso persino il Governo si è impegnato a far sì che Palazzo Thiene venga acquisito al patrimonio dello Stato e messo a disposizione della città nella rete civica museale. D'altra parte, come abbiamo detto più volte, sarebbe uno straordinario richiamo per i turisti, un meraviglioso volano per l'economia ed il commercio, come lo sono gli Uffizi per Firenze, e siamo sicuri di non esagerare. Oggi, però, Palazzo Thiene ha già le insegne di Intesa San Paolo, il gruppo bancario che ha acquisito tutti gli asset positivi di BpVi. E non è l'unico: condivide il suo stesso destino un altro gioiello, finito nel vortice del crac della Popolare di Vicenza. Eccolo: è Palazzo Repeta. Anche qui siamo di fronte ad un capolavoro architettonico passato a BpVi dopo essere stato sede della Banca d'Italia. Meravigliosi gli affreschi dello scalone monumentale, realizzati dal francese Louis Dorigny, discepolo di Charles Le Brun, il pittore ufficiale di Re Sole, autore dei dipinti che si trovano nella celeberrima Galleria degli specchi nella reggia di Versailles. Dopo aver imparato l'arte da un maestro del genere, Louis Dorigny, in Italia ha firmato anche gli affreschi di Villa Capra, conosciuta universalmente come La Rotonda del Palladio. Ora, dunque, Palazzo Repeta, vuoto da anni, è finito nel vortice del crac di BpVi, esattamente come Palazzo Thiene. E noi rilanciamo: che almeno uno di questi due gioielli archietettonici venga salvato, e se Palazzo Repeta, se venduto ad un privato potrebbe finalmente tornare a vivere, Palazzo Thiene, a fronte dei 17 miliardi di euro mobilitati dal Governo nell'affare delle popolari venete, merita di essere statalizzato. Vicenza non può perdere due perle della sua cultura, della sua storia, della sua arte. Questa proposta di Rete Veneta per andare avanti, però, ha bisogno del sostegno di tutti. E non a parole, ma con i fatti. Che Vicenza, dai cittadini ai commercianti, dalle associazioni culturali ed economiche fino alla politica, si sollevi e faccia qualcosa per questa battaglia di civiltà e di giustizia. Corso Andrea Palladio is the main street in Vicenza , named after the second world war by the famous architect. About 700 meters long, it crosses the historical core of the city from west to east, respectively from Porta Castello to piazza Giacomo Matteotti. The course of the current course corresponds substantially to what, in Roman times, was the decumanus maximus of the city and, at the same time, the urban stretch of the consular Via Postumia . Also called strata major , after the construction of the early medieval city walls it was bordered to the west by the Porta Feliciana (very close, although not all coinciding with the Porta del Castello) and to the east by the Porta San Pietro (on the right bank of the Bacchiglione river, height of the bridge of St. Peter, time of the Angels).
During the Middle Ages and in modern times it retained its function as a link between the cities of the Veneto plain (respectively Verona and Padua), so that at its edges were opened inns, taverns and places for rental cars; Generally it was called Strata major , Strà grande , or simply Strà. It was also important public place. Already during the Middle Ages there were four points in which the public crier had to go to proclaim the decrees of the city government and the sentences of condemnation issued against the guilty: the door Sancti Petri , the plathea Sancte Corone , the domus illorum de Caldogno ( at the beginning of the current contrà Porti) and the canton of the red well (the intersection with the current Corso Fogazzaro)
The Course starts from the Porta Castello and from the Torrione (at No. 1) - the only remaining structures - of the mighty Castle built in 1343 by Antonio and Mastino II della Scala , who restored the Ezzelian fortress destroyed 50 years earlier, extending it into a a real castle, which occupied a square area, surrounded by deep pits, surrounded by towers at the four corners and the tower at the center. The current appearance of the Tower, with the projecting battlements with embrasures above corbels and with the addition of the lantern summit, almost certainly belongs to the Visconti period at the end of the fourteenth century
Next is Palazzo Marchi . A part of the castle, demolished in the nineteenth century, was replaced by this palace, whose high fence wall borders the course. The entrance, at the center of the wall, is given by an arched portal with a round arch, with a female head in an arch and crowned by a triangular tympanum with two reclining female figures holding a cartouche in the pediment
On the opposite corner of the square, at no. 13, there is the Palazzo Thiene Bonin Longare , the Vicenza headquarters of Confindustria , which has promoted its restoration. The palace, which Francesco Thiene had built on the family property, was designed by Andrea Palladio presumably in 1572 and built by Vincenzo Scamozzi after the death of the master; it was bought in 1835 by Lelio Bonin Longare. Since 1994 he has entered, along with other Palladian architecture in Vicenza, in the list of world heritage of ' UNESCO.The similarity with other Palladian projects - for example with Palazzo Barbaran da Porto - makes one think of the seventies of the sixteenth century, both in the design of the lower part of the facade and in the large double- order loggia overlooking the inner courtyard .
The side instead - with the ground floor covered with mild ashlar, the tall French windows on the first floor crowned with alternately triangular and curved tympanum, the little protruding balustrade balconies - is the work of Scamozzi, considering the resemblance with Palazzo Trissino al Duomo . Even the deep atrium, substantially indifferent to the order grid, could be scrapped.

TG VICENZA (mercoledì 29 novembre 2017) - Salviamo Palazzo Thiene. Anche il Consiglio Provinciale appoggia la proposta di Rete Veneta di salvaguardare l'antica sede di BpVi e farne un museo pubblico. Passa all'unanimità la mozione presentata da Forza Italia che chiede all'Amministrazione provinciale, tramite il suo presidente Achille Variati, di richiedere al Ministro Franceschini che lo Stato acquisisca la piena proprietà del Palazzo, evitando la liquidazione coatta, per farne un Museo Nazionale. Ricordiamo che Achille Variati aveva già sposato la proposta di Rete Veneta, così come tutte le forze politiche, e che il Governo si era impegnato formalmente a tutelare Palazzo Thiene per farne un museo pubblico. Ora è fondamentale che la Sovrintendenza riconosca come un unicum il palazzo ed il suo contenuto di arredi, opere d'arte e collezioni preziose. Quindi per noi questa storia non finisce qui, ma continua. (

TG VICENZA (sabato 15 luglio 2017) - Il vero tesoro di BpVi: Palazo Thiene, capolavoro architettonico del cinquecento, realizzato da Andrea Palladio, con stanze decorate con stucchi e affreschi, ed opere dei più grandi artisti del rinascimento, acquistate negli anni anche coi soldi dei risparmiatori vicentini. Una risorsa storica della città finita in pancia al più grande gruppo bancario italiano insieme ad un patrimonio immobiliare da 500milioni e tutto per la cifra simbolica di cinquanta centesimi, a fronte di un impegno, da parte dello Stato per 17miliardi di euro. E allora, con uno sforzo così importante, perchè il Governo non ha acquisito Palazzo Thiene, perchè non lo ha statalizzato e non ha chiesto garanzie per il futuro di questo patrimonio storico e culturale della città, prima che i suoi capolavori vengano portati a Torino, sede di Intesa San Paolo?
E già: è un museo privato. Ma noi di Rete Veneta, supportati dai nostri telespettatori e dai vicentini, continuiamo la nostra battaglia e rilanciamo la nostra proposta perchè Palazzo Thiene, patrimonio dell'Unesco, venga acquisito dallo Stato, a fronte dei 17miliardi di euro che ha versato per il crack BpVi. In questo modo Palazzo Thiene, come gli Uffizi di Firenze, potrebbe godere degli investimenti del ministero dei beni culturali, che ogni anno rastrella sul mercato privato opere d'arte da destinare ai musei, diventando così un prestigioso richiamo per i turisti. TG VICENZA (martedì 1 agosto 2017) - Dal Senato al Governo, Palazzo Thiene bene pubblico museale continua il suo percorso. La palla, dopo l'ordine del giorno approvato al senato ora è in mano al Governo che attraverso il sottosegretario veneto dell'economia e delle finanze Pier Paolo Baretta non si sottrae ed anzi sentito ai nostri microfoni specifica
Ciò varrebbe quindi per i dipinti dei grandi maestri del passato dal Tiepolo al Tintoretto, le collezioni di antiche Oselle, le monete della Repubblica di Venezia, insomma per quei tesori inestimabili contenuti all'interno di Palazzo Thiene. Altra questione è invece il patrimonio immobiliare e qui la faccenda si complica
Insomma il rischio potrebbe essere che le opere d'arte all'interno di palazzo Thiene, essendo inalienabili e dunque dello Stato, siano da questo messe a disposizione di altri musei e il palazzo, opera del 1400 con possenti mura, cortile e prospetto firmati da Andrea Palladio, invece finisca tra i beni da mettere in vendita. Il governo prende tempo, occorre dice, un inventario ma rimane possibilista (

TG VICENZA (martedì 31 ottobre 2017) - Forza Italia si accoda alla nostra proposta per Palazzo Thiene: con una mozione in Consiglio Provinciale il partito di centrodestra chiede che l'Amministrazione, tramite il suo presidente Achille Variati si impegni a trasformare l'antica sede di BpVi, e le opere d'arte che contiene, in Museo Nazionale, richiedendo al Governo, tramite il Ministro dei Beni Culturali, che lo Stato avochi a se la piena proprietà del Palazzo, evitando così la liquidazione coatta. Ricordiamo che Achille Variati aveva già sposato la nostra proposta, così come tutte le forze politiche: quindi ci aspettiamo che la mozione passi. Ovviamente continuiamo a monitorare la situazione. TG VICENZA (giovedì 17 agosto 2017) - Salviamo Palazzo Thiene. Noi di Rete Veneta continuiamo a tenere ben alte le luci sull'antica sede di BpVi. Vogliamo dare voce alla gente, ai vicentini, ai telespettatori che ci hanno scritto, che sono intervenuti al nostro microfono, che hanno chiesto che questo gioiello non venga inghiottito nel vortice del crac della Banca Popolare di Vicenza. Sappiamo bene che sta a noi, a noi tutti, controllare che la politica mantenga la parola, e che poi dalle parole si passi ai fatti. La nostra proposta di statalizzare Palazzo Thiene, facendone un museo pubblico era arrivata, con un ordine del giorno in Senato, al Governo che si era impegnato -lo leggiamo testualmente- a far sì che Palazzo Thiene venga acquisito al patrimonio dello Stato e messo a disposizione della città nella rete civica museale. Ci permettiamo di fare, però, qualche considerazione. Innanzitutto non si può non constatare la fumosità con cui la politica ha affrontato la questione: il Governo per primo non ha chiarito come intenda sfilare Palazzo Thiene dagli asset positivi, inglobati da Intesa San Paolo. E poi: il museo sarebbe civico o nazionale? Perchè se fosse civico sarebbe un onere pesante per il Comune, mentre se fosse lo Stato a gestirlo, oltre a disporre di ben altre risorse, potrebbe destinare a Vicenza le opere che il ministero dei Beni Culturali, ogni anno, acquista sul mercato, per rifornire i musei statali. Ma c'è di più. Dopo che noi di Rete Veneta avevamo lanciato il sasso nello stagno, raccogliendo anche il consenso e l'interesse del sindaco di Vicenza, ci aspettavamo che le autorità cittadine fossero più attive, continuando a mantenere, loro per prime, alta l'attenzione su questo patrimonio. Invece, se non siamo noi a sollecitare la massima attenzione, non ci sono decise prese di posizione: c'è troppo silenzio. Infine, non nascondiamo una certa malinconia per non aver sentito la voce di importanti realtà associative, da Confindustria a Confartigianato fino a ConfCommercio: un museo statale in città, forse, non porterebbe anche un benficio economico? Aspettiamo pure un intervento dell'Accademia Olimpica, del Palladium Museum, o del Fai. Ma, su tutti, attendiamo il Ministro Dario Franceschini, che non ha ancora proferito parola sul destino di Palazzo Thiene, un patrimonio dell'Unesco che rappresenta una delle massime realizzazioni architettoniche del più celebre architetto della storia dell'umanità: Andrea Palladio. Il Governo ha sia l'autorità che gli strumenti giuridici per salvaguardare questo patrimonio culturale che, se verrà ceduto, sancirà ufficialmente che l'Italia regala il suo valore più grande. TG VICENZA (mercoledì 6 marzo 2019) - Palazzo Thiene, ora o mai più. L'antica sede di BpVi è pronta a finire sul mercato nell'iter fallimentare per il crac della Banca Popolare di Vicenza. Ha un valore che si aggira sui 10 milioni di euro, ma ha un vincolo di pertinenza col tesoro inestimabile che ospita, costituito dai capolavori dei più importanti maestri della pittura e della scultura, da preziosissime ceramiche e dalla più grande collezione al mondo di monete veneziane del cinquecento. In pratica Palazzo Thiene non ha prezzo, è un patrimonio che appartiene a tutta la città, e che tutta la città rivendica, soprattutto dopo che il crac delle popolari venete ha costretto lo Stato a mobilitare 17 miliardi di denaro pubblico. Noi di Rete Veneta per primi, dando voce ai vicentini, ci siamo battuti per fare di Palazzo Thiene un museo pubblico. Un'idea sostenuta dai commercianti, dalle associazioni culturali, dal consiglio comunale, da tutte le fazioni politiche, da destra a sinistra, e a tutti i livelli, dal Comune alla provincia fino al Parlamento e al Governo. Nel frattempo la BpVi è stata rilevata dal Gruppo Intesa San Paolo per la cifra simbolica di cinquanta centesimi. E allora oggi sarebbe bello che altrettanto simbolicamente Intesa San Paolo, che con l'affare bpvi ha sposato la terra vicentina, porti in dote Palazzo Thiene. Potrebbe rilevarlo e regalarlo alla città. Sarebbe un beau geste da parte di un gruppo bancario che gode di ottima salute, che è in crescita e che ha promosso e continua a promuovere importanti iniziative culturali, con 500mila visitatori che, nel 2018, hanno ammirato le collezioni permanenti e le 14 mostre allestite a Milano a Napoli e, appunto, a Vicenza. Una sensibilità dimostrata anche da Carlo Messina, amministratore delegato del Gruppo Intesa San Paolo, a cui, nell'ottobre del 2017, noi di Rete Veneta avevamo chiesto di sposare la nostra proposta: fare di Palazzo Thiene un museo aperto al pubblico.
Bene, da allora, però, lo Stato non ha restituito Palazzo Thiene alla città. Può farlo forse il primo gruppo bancario italiano? E' un'idea, una proposta. Una suggestione. Ma il tempo stringe: ora o mai più. (

TG VICENZA (mercoledì 13 dicembre 2017) - Che la maledizione del crack BpVi non ricada sul tesoro di Vicenza. Che Palazzo Thiene venga risparmiato, statalizzato, e diventi un museo pubblico: la nostra proposta ormai è arcinota: ha ottenuto l'appoggio delle istituzioni, di tutti i partiti, da destra a sinistra, e di Italia Nostra, l'unica associazione culturale che a Vicenza non è stata indifferente al nostro appello, ed ha avuto il coraggio di esporsi. Oggi, però, Palazzo Thiene con il suo museo è ancora della Sga, la Società per la Gestione di Attività, di proprietà del Ministero dell'Economia e delle Finanze, a cui sono stati trasferiti i crediti in sofferenza della popolare di Vicenza. Quindi il Governo, che sotto la spinta di Rete Veneta, con un ordine del giorno firmato in Senato, si è impegnato a statalizzare Palazzo Thiene per farne un museo aperto al pubblico, non è ancora passato dalle parole ai fatti. TG VICENZA (21/07/2017) - BPVI, «SALVIAMO PALAZZO THIENE»
TG VICENZA (venerdì 21 luglio 2017) - Salviamo Palazzo Thiene. Lo abbiamo detto, lo abbiamo ripetuto, oggi lo ribadiamo: che la maledizione del crack BpVi non ricada sul tesoro di Vicenza: che Palazzo Thiene venga risparmiato, che venga statalizzato che diventi un museo pubblico. La nostra istanza ha già ricevuto l'appoggio del sindaco, Achille Variati, ma anche dei consiglieri comunali di centrodestra e centrosinistra, così come dei senatori veneti di Lega e Movimento 5 Stelle; oggi abbiamo invitato il Senatore del Partito Democratico, Giorgio Santini, nella redazione di Vicenza di Rete Veneta. Coinvolgiamo anche a lui. Ecco che arriva puntuale
Bene, adessso bando ai convenevoli, e veniamo al sodo: innanzitutto non illudiamoci. Il decreto salva-banche è blindatissimo, ed il Senato lo approverà il prima possibile.
E già: Palazzo Thiene non è una voce come tante, in una lunga lista di beni immobili che fanno parte degli asset positivi di BpVi: è un tesoro che appartiene all'eredità artistica e culturale di Vicenza. Ci chiediamo perchè lo Stato, che si è già impegnato a sborsare 17miliardi di euro senza apparentemente nulla ottenere, non abbia pensato ad acquisire questo patrimonio dell'Unesco con le preziosissime opere che contiene. Il Senatore Giorgio Santini ci assicura che ne parlerà col ministro Franceschini, ma prima il Senato approverà un ordine del giorno in cui impegnerà il Governo a tutelare Palazzo Thiene.
Insomma, dopo che il Governo gli ha donato Palazzo Thiene, il gruppo Intesa San Paolo potrebbe ricambiare restituendolo allo Stato. L'importante è che questo tesoro resti alla collettività, perchè la cultura è di tutti. Oggi Palazzo Thiene è un simbolo, quello di un'Italia che non può regalare il suo valore più grande: l'arte. Ecco il motivo della nostra proposta. (
