Paradise Beach Park in Melbourne, Florida on a late afternoon as seen by my Yuneec Q500 Typhoon Drone. A few surfers were still out riding the waves, and there was a sailboat off in the distance. It was a pretty windy day (the official wind speed was 15 mph). As the drone cleared the Sea Grapes it was getting buffeted around pretty good, but other than that it flew flawlessly.

Howard E. Futch Memorial Park is a regional beach park which features 3 dune crossovers, seasonal lifeguards, and volleyball courts.
Park picnic facilities include a large pavilion with seating for up to 200, grills, and 2 medium pavilions- Restrooms, park benches, and outside showers provide convenience. Parks Referendum Project renovations included dune re-vegetation, dune crossover replacement, and playground.

Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge - Just a little bit south of Port d'Hiver is a beautiful stretch of coastline from Melbourne Beach to Wabasso Beach that's almost 20 miles long of mother natures beauty and abundance. This is one of the most important nesting areas for loggerhead sea turtles in the western hemisphere and the second most important nesting beach in the world! What an amazing thought to be so close to the miracle of life in Florida.
Spanish House - Sebastian Inlet State Park is about 15 miles south of Port d'Hiver, here you can get a feel for the earliest surfers, really feel what's it's like to be a true surf bum and see how far we've come.
Sebastian Inlet - Sebastian Inlet is possibly Florida's most famous surfing area and where many long time surfing professionals can be found. It's such a great surfing location, they even host one of the most prestigious surfing contests on the East Coast. The Sebastian Inlet Pro Surf is held every January and brings surfers in from more than a dozen countries.

I took a walk through the Historic downtown district in Melbourne, Florida. This area is further away from the water, but has some of the older buildings in the area. As you'd expect, it's mostly filled with shops and restaurants, and is a nice place to walk through. Shot in May 2018.
