Parco del Beigua
The regional natural park of Beigua is a protected natural area of Liguria in a territory that extends between the metropolitan city of Genoa and the province of Savona and includes Mount Beigua (1287 m). In the Park area there are many hiking trails and is crossed by the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. In 2005 the Beigua Geopark was established.
Liguria, Antola Regional Natural Park
The territory represents an Apennine zone of great landscape, naturalistic, historical and cultural value. The vicinity to Genoa and the Ligurian sea, but also to the cities of Piedmont, Lombardy and Emilia constitute a point of strength of the park. The Antola Valleys, which include the territories of 12 municipalities between the Alta Valle Scrivia and the Alta Val Trebbia, constitute an ideal environment to practise naturalistic excursions thanks to the wide network of itineraries (over 300 km of trails), some of which also suited to mountain biking, free climbing and mountain climbing (in the territory of the Rocche del Reopasso), winter walks with cross-country skis and snowshoes along the entire Antola's ridge, and even horse trekking. The territory of the Park also allows discovering and enjoying the area from a cultural, gastronomic and historical point of view with a series of villages, museums and points of interest that are unique within the Genoese hinterland.

Mount antola - Site of Community Importance (SCI) for the grasslands (flowering) and beechwoods, Mountain Hut Parco Antola.settlements of Vobbia with Castello della pietra (Stone Castle) (rocky environments) and rocche del reopasso (Reopasso Rocks).
Brugneto Lake: main water basin of the province of Genoa, which originated from the construction of a 260 metre long and 80 metre high dam, with a capacity of 25 million square metres of water, Lago del Brugneto represents the main water supply of
the city of Genoa and also a site of great naturalistic value, suited for different types of visitors, that can be reached thanks to a loop itinerary of 13.5 kilometres, that boasts several equipped areas.

Parco Bric Tana
The Regional Natural Park of Bric Tana is located in Liguria in the province of Savona, almost on the border with the province of Cuneo. The park, located entirely in the municipality of Millesimo, was established 1985. and hills in the area are lands where the truffle experts , organized in association, find the precious tuber, both black and white, always king of the table.
Lago di Giacopiane
Il lago di Giacopiane è un invaso artificiale situato in valle Sturla nel comune di Borzonasca, costituito in realtà da due laghi, Giacopiane e Pian Sapeio divisi da una diga caratterizzata da un tempietto a metà strada tra le due rive. La creazione della diga e di conseguenza dei laghi artificiali risali agli anni '20 del '900, in periodo fascista, e si inserisce nel più generale quadro di opere pubbliche di quegli anni.
Ad un'altezza di circa 1000mt sul livello del mare, i laghi si raggiungono deviando dalla strada che collega Borzonasca con Rezzoaglio e si presentano come due gemme azzurre incastonate nel verde di abeti, larici e faggi degli Appennini che li circondano.
La strada carrozzabile compie il giro del Lago Giacopiane e rappresenta un ottimo percorso per camminatori e amanti della mountain bike.

Fotografie (estratto) del libro di passeggiate/escursioni/itinerari nella Liguria di Levante - nelle province di Genova e La Spezia - in una presentazione slideshow.
Una scelta di 45 itinerari tra i molti che ho percorso nella Liguria di Levante e che vanno dalle semplici passeggiate a escursioni più impegnative, per tutte le stagioni.
Molti sono percorsi conosciuti e famosi ma sempre belli da (ri)scoprire: Golfo Paradiso, Portofino, Antola, Val d'Aveto, Baia delle Favole, Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti etc. nomi evocativi che meritano di essere conosciuti ed esplorati ma senza fretta, tra il verde dei boschi e l'azzurro del mare e dei laghi e il libro conduce in un viaggio a passo d'uomo alla scoperta del territorio, della natura e del paesaggio.
Altri possono essere una scoperta come la cava della Valle Lagorara o l'intero complesso delle fortificazioni di Genova o un itinerario particolare nel Cimitero Monumentale di Staglieno.
Una terra varia e omogenea a un tempo, per la presenza a Sud dell'orizzonte marino, luminoso di scaglie d'argento, sul quale chiunque dal versante padano salga alla linea spartiacque può affacciarsi, restando stupefatto per tanta luce. Hanno colto questa bellezza i poeti che hanno cantato la Liguria (dalla pres. di Giovanni Meriana).
Il libro, corredato da molte fotografie, cartine, note tecniche, è pensato per chi vuole andare alla scoperta di un paesaggio di particolare bellezza tra mare e monti. Itinerari tra rinomate spiagge o su promontori che offrono squarci su scogliere o che si inoltrano nell'entroterra, in zone rurali e montane attraversate da vie del sale e antiche mulattiere. Box di approfondimento si soffermano su aspetti storici, naturalistici e artistici senza dimenticare il folklore e le tradizioni gastronomiche.

The book is fully illustrated with photos and enriched with reference maps and it is thought either for the tourist and the excursion traveller and trekker who wants to discover a landscape of beauty. The book accompanies the reader/walker not only to renowed beaches landscapes like 5 Terre but also to inland mount paths like in Antola, Aveto, Trebbia valleys, etc. or particular sites like Jasper Lagorara Valley, the Genoa ancient fortresses or the Staglieno Monumental Cemetery. Detailed boxes illustrate in particular natural, artistic, folk and traditional food aspects.

A Tiglieto è rinata la Badia
Rinascita della Badia di Tiglieto prima abbazia cistercense in Italia e la prima fuori della Francia, l'abbazia di Santa Maria della Croce, chiamata comunemente Badia di Tiglieto risale al 1120. L'abbazia si trova sulla strada che collega Tiglieto a Urbe.
La Badia di Tiglieto è stata abitata fino a poco tempo fa da monaci della comunità dei Cistercensi di Roma.

Lo studio Arteprima, insieme al GnuQuartet e a una squadra speciale composta da 732 bambini di 26 scuole liguri, ha realizzato un film educativo e originale adatto a un pubblico di grandi e piccoli.
