Pawnee Grasslands Reservoir Loop Briggsdale CO
Sprawling across the plains northeast of Greeley Colorado, the Pawnee Grasslands are criss-crossed by a network of gravel county roads and two-track dirt Forest Service Roads. These easy roads offer an alternative to the usual mountain ‘wheeling of the Colorado Rockies, especially from late fall to early spring when many of the mountain trails are snowed in. You can imagine how important water would be on the arid plains of the grasslands. This offroad route takes you past three small reservoirs constructed to conserve this vital resource. The trail also crosses Crow Valley Hill, the highest point in this area of the grasslands, past the Crow Valley Hill Communications Tower.

The ghost town of Keota - located in Weld County, Colorado
Google and other sites describe Keota as a, ... mostly abandoned town located on the prairie in the Pawnee National Grasslands in Weld County, Colorado. The town is at an elevation 1,512 meters (4,961 feet) and is in the southwest corner of Weld County which, itself, is located in the northeast part of Colorado.
It's believed that 'Keota is an Indian word meaning Gone to visit or The fire goes out. Keota was a station stop on the 'Old Prairie Dog Express on the Colorado-Wyoming Division of the Burlington-Missouri Railroad.
Two sisters, Mary and Eva Beardsley, established the homestead in 1880 and eventually sold it to the Lincoln Land and Cattle Company in 1888. The railroad (used mainly for cattle shipping) was abandoned and the tracks removed in 1975. Keota lost its incorporated status in 1990.

2017 World Wonderview Tower
The World Wonderview Tower is located off of I-70 in the town of Genoa, CO. It was constructed by Charles Gregory, and opened for business in 1927. Built on the highest point of land in eastern Colorado, it is purported to afford you the ability to see six states (Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, and New Mexico). The site consisted of the 60' tower and an adjoining cafe, built from stone and concrete. In the 1960, the site was sold to Jerry Chubbick, who turned it into a museum showcasing his esoteric collections. Jerry passed away a few years ago, his collections sold off, and the tower, cafe, and the rest of the buildings fell dormant. It has been purchased by a group of artists (See 6 States, LLC) who are hoping to keep the quirky visions of Charles Gregory and Jerry Chubbick alive for future generations.
