Phitsanulok and Chiang Mai, 2017
We found ourselves in Phitsanulok for a couple of days so we rented a scooter and went to explore some of the waterfalls! We then caught a train for 6 hours up to Chiang Mai just in time for Yi Peng & Loy Kratong festival! By chance we stayed just across from the bridge where loads of lanterns are released and we got to see the float procession down the street! It was quiet spectacular!
