Diving Punta Campanella Massa Lubrebse Italy (monofin dolphin apnea)
Spread over approximately 1128 hectares of land and 40 km of coastline, the Protected Marine Area Punta Campanella is managed by the towns of Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, Sant’Agnello, Piano di Sorrento, Vico Equense and Positano. Its purpose is to preserve one of the most beautiful stretches of Italian coasts. The marine protected area is divided into three areas, with different degrees of protection: Zone A (reserve), Zone B (general reserve) and Zone C (partial reserve). Zone A has the highest level of protection, no access, navigation, parking of boats or vessels of any kind, bathing, professional and sport fishing and scuba diving is allowed. In Zone B tour boats and licensed professional fishing are allowed access only after gaining permission from the managing body, whilst scuba diving, fishing and the anchorage of boats is prohibited. In Area C, which is the largest portion of the marine area, motor boats up to 18 feet and who do not surpass 10 knots are allowed and swimming, diving tours, professional and sport fishing, after obtaining authorization from the managing body. From Punta del Capo in the Gulf of Naples to Punta San Germano on the side of the Gulf of Salerno, are a succession of green capes and cozy inlets. Among the many, the most famous is certainly the Bay of Jeranto offering each visitor a unique beautiful landscape, situated near Punta Campanella with the beautiful caves of the Capitello, Zeuzinada and Solara. Equally impressive is the Crapolla fjord, fishermen's landing. On this beach are a group of houses called monazeni, used as a shelter and for storing fishing nets. Numerous are the activities that can be done inside the protected area, there are several local diving centers that organize tours that give the opportunity to admire one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. You could also choose to spend a day fishing aboard fishing boats that allow guests to experience the traditional maritime activities. The protected area also extends ashore, where there are walking routes marked with strips of colored paint, often accompanied by majolica tiles bearing the colors of the trail, indicating directions and distances. The walks wind through olive and lemon groves, along mule tracks and paths, through forests of chestnut and oak trees and reach ancient farmhouses, archaeological remains, Saracen towers and view points.
Scuba diving : Punta Campanella's natural reserve dive - Italy, Campania
In July, 2018, I took a dive on the natural reserve of Punta Campanella, located between Capri's Island, Sorrento's coast and Amalfi coast in Italy, Campania.
Here is a short video showing how beautiful it is, full of wildlife (a big barracuda's bench lives here all year long !), and colors. Hope it will give you the idea to go !

Italy's Amalfi coast is one of the most beautiful drives in the country. On top of having a spectacular above water view, the underwater diving on the tip of the peninsula near Punta Campanella is utterly amazing.

PUNTA CAMPANELLA
The Marine Park and Natural Reserve of Punta della Campanella is a strip of rocky land which actually divides the waters of the Bay of Naples from the Bay of Salerno. The paths and nature trails are many and weave in and out of the inside of the Park crossing over unspoiled nature to arrive at archaeological sites, immersed in the immensely beautiful scenery.

Punta Campanella, turisti incantati dai delfini
MASSA LUBRENSE.
