Agra Tourist Places | Best Places to visit in Agra
The tourist places in Agra are second to none.
Agra Ka Taj Mahal
It houses one of the seven wonders of the world, Taj Mahal and even has two other unesco world heritage sites.
So here is what I visited in Agra :-
1) TAJ MAHAL -
Words can not express it's beauty, one has to visit Taj Mahal to admire this monument of love.
Taj Mahal is closed during Friday's and opens from sunrise to sunset.
Foreign nationals fees is ₹ 1100/- and if one wants to visit the mausoleum he has to pay a additional fee of ₹200/-
I feel one should visit the Taj Mahal in the morning to avoid the rush.
One needs to hop on a Electric tuk tuk from the car parking area, charges are ₹10/- per person.
Shoe covers are also needed which will cost ₹10/-
Bag packs or any other carry bags are not allowed inside the Taj Mahal.
Regular Entry Fees for Indians ₹50
Location :-
2) AGRA FORT -
It's the residence of the Mughal Empire, it houses Sheesh Mahal, Akbar Mahal, diwan E Aam and a masque.
This red sandstone fort was even ruled by the Maratha Empire before coming under the British Empire.
Entry Fees for Indians ₹40
Location :-
3) FETHPUR SIKRI -
A town made by mughal emperor Akbar on the outskirts of Agra, it acted as it's second capital.
It houses a dargah of sufi saint Salim Chishti.
One has to park his car at the designated govt car parking at ₹100/- for visiting Fethpur Sikri.
There is a CNG bus that takes you to the fort for ₹10/- per person.
Entry Fees for indians ₹50
Location :-
4) AGRA SHOE MARKET -
Agra is the biggest footwear manufacturing hub in India. So one can shop for surplus goods from Sadar Bazaar and buy leather footwear at extremely reasonable prices.
Do watch my dedicated agra shoe shopping for reference.
5) AGRA STREET FOOD -
One can not miss Agra street food if one visits the Taj City.
I recommend you to savour Bedhai Puri, Alu Tikki Chat and Petha during your visit.
Do watch my dedicated agra street food for reference.

Golden Triangle Tour | Delhi - Agra - Jaipur circuit tour | golden triangle trip budget
India's golden triangle is a tourist circuit which connects the national capital Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. It's very famous among tourist from Malaysia,South Africa, United Kingdom and US. The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra, and Rajasthan on a map. The trips usually start in Delhi moving south to the site of Taj Mahal at Agra, then west, to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan. It is normally possible to do the trip by coach or private journey through most tour operators. The Golden Triangle is now a well-traveled route providing a good spectrum of the country's different landscapes.[1] The circuit is about 720 km by road. Each leg is about 4 to 6 hours of drive. The Shatabdi express train also connects Delhi with Agra and Jaipur.

Fatehpur sikri , Agra, Tour | Hindi
Fatehpur sikri was built by Mughal emperor Akbar. It is 37 kms from Agra, through our own cab it took us about one and a half hour to reach this Mausoleum.
You may want to support this channel:
It was built between 1569 and 1585, it was intended to be joint capital with Agra, but later on Mughal capital shifted to Delhi.
I did a full one day tour of Fatehpur Sikri, spent the day with Guide, who explained me about historical importance of this place.
During my tour of fatehpur sikri i visited the following:
Diwan- i- khas
Pnach mahal
Tomb of salim chishti
Buland Darwaza
Suggestion: I will suggest you to travel to fatehpur sikri with a guide of ASI, this will help to make the experience pleasant and knowledgable.
You can find the guides of ASI near ticket counter of Mahal.

Tour Of Rajasthan and Agra
Nahargarh Fort sits proudly on a ridge of the Aravalli Hills, creating an impressive northern backdrop to the city of Jaipur. It was constructed during the reign of Jai Singh in 1734, and was later expanded in 1868. Nahargarh, which means abode of tigers, was a formidable barrier, defending Amber against attacking enemies. Within its walls, the fort houses Madhavendra Bhawan, the summer destination for the members of the royal family. Built by Sawai Madho Singh, the palace has 12 matching boudoirs for the queens, at the head of which is a suite for the king. They are all connected by corridors decorated with delicate murals. Even today the palace is a favoured spot for local picnickers. The fort looks brilliant when floodlit at night. Overlooking the city, it presents a glittering view of the city lights.

Places To Visit In Agra | Where To Go Other Than Taj Mahal | DesiGirl Traveller
In this video, I have explored several monuments of Agra. We all know that Taj Mahal (one of the world’s wonders) is in Agra and many people come to the city to witness this beauty. However, the beauty of Agra city is not just limited to Taj Mahal. There’s a lot to explore in this city. I have visited a few of the beautiful monuments and forts in Agra including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpuri Masjid, Mehtab Bagh etc. Everyone knows about Taj Mahal. It doesn’t need an introduction. We know that this monument is one amongst the World’s Wonders, one amongst the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a legend of eternal love of an Emperor for his favourite Queen. Well, Taj Mahal has distinctions much beyond just these. Therefore, it surely deserves your visit once and more.
.
Agra Fort is another monument which you must visit when you are in Agra. This fort was built in the year 1573 by the king Akbar - one of the greatest Mughal Emperors. It is said that in-total 4000 workers worked for 8 years to complete the construction of this fort. This fort was built with an idea to make it the main residence of the Mughals. The architecture of Agra Fort which is also known as Red Fort of Agra is simply brilliant. This fort houses many impressive structures inside it including Khas Mahal, Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-e-Aaam, Diwan-e-Khaas, Moti Masjid, Machchhi Bhawan and a lot more. This fort is just 2.5 kilometers away from the Taj Mahal and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
.
Other than Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, Fatehpuri Masjid and Mehtab Bagh are the few places where tourist can visit in Agra. So, guys, that was all from my trip to Agra. I have done a few other videos on Agra, putting the links below. I hope you enjoy this video. Keep spreading love and share your travel stories with me. Loads of Love.

AGRA FORT History/Information in HINDI(Full Guided Tour) | Agra Heritage Tour | Ep-3 | आगरा का किला
This video is based on my recent visit to Agra Fort which I completed with the help of a tourist guide to know the Agra Fort History in Hindi. So, let me tell you briefly about the Agra Fort history and facts associated with this guided tour.
Although, a lot of people search about Agra Fort History in Bengali, Marathi, English and Telugu but I think Hindi is the most used language in India, so I have come up with this Agra Fort Guide in Hindi. Agra Fort Railway Station is just about 100 m away from the Agra Fort, so if you have your train till this railway station, you can reach Agra Fort in not more than 2-4 minutes.
Agra Fort Timings: Sunrise to Sunset
Agra Fort to Taj Mahal Distance : 2 km
Agra Fort Ticket Price/Entry Fee : Rs.50(Indian/Domestic Tourist), Rs.550(Foreign Tourist), Free(For Children above 15 yrs of Age)
Agra Fort is a popular historical fort in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Agra Fort was known to be the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, after which the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before the Britishers captured this fort, the last Indian rulers who occupied it were the Marathas. In the year 1983, the Agra fort was got the tag of a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located at about 2 km northwest of its more well known sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more appropriately described as a walled city.
Agra Fort had been built and used majorly by the early mughal rulers including Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb. The Fort stands tall on an ancient site and was known as Badalgarh. It was known to be captured by Ghaznavi for some time but later in the 15th century A.D. the Chauhan Rajputs captured it. Soon after, Agra got the status of capital soon after Sikandar Lodi (A.D. 1487-1517) shifted his capital from Delhi and built a few buildings in the existing Fort of Agra. After the first battle of Panipat (A.D. 1526) Mughals occupied the fort and ruled from it. Then Humayun was crowned in the fort in A.D. 1530. The Fort actually got its present appearance during Akbar’s reign (A.D. 1556-1605).
Agra Fort Architecture: The 380,000 m2 (94-acre) fort has a semicircular plan, its chord actually lies parallel to the Yamuna river and its walls are known to be 70 ft high. Double ramparts have massive circular bastions at certain intervals, with battlements, embrasures, machicolations as well as string courses. 4 gates were provided on all the sides, one was the Khizri gate which opened on to the river. Two of the gates of the Fort are notable: the Delhi Gate and the Lahore Gate. The Lahore Gate is popularly known as the Amar Singh Gate, for Amar Singh Rathore.
