How To Make Chicken Pulao At Home | Popular Chicken Main Course Recipe | Masala Trails
Learn how to make Chicken Pulao a popular chicken main course recipe, at home only on Get Curried.
Chicken Pulao is surely a comfort food in the truest sense. This pulao is simple, easy and quick to assemble, its tasty and fills your tummy instantly. Do try this recipe and post your comments below.
Ingredients:
½ Kg Chicken
2 tbsp Yogurt
Ginger Garlic Paste
Lemon Juice
Oil
Cumin Seeds
3 Bay Leaf
Cinnamon
5 Cloves
4 Cardamom
Green Chillies
2 Onions
Salt
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chilli Powder
½ tsp Cumin Powder
1 ½ tsp Garam Masala
2 Tomatoes
Coriander Leaves
2 cups Rice
Water
Method:
- To marinate the chicken, in a bowl mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice along with the chicken.
- Keep it a side for 30 minutes to an hour.
- In a thick bottom pan, add oil, cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, green chillies and mix well.
- Add ginger garlic paste, onions, salt to taste along with turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and garam masala.
- Once the masalas are cooked, add tomatoes and the marinated chicken and mix them well.
- Add coriander leaves and cook it for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add rice and water and cook it for another 10 minutes.
- Mix the pulao well and add coriander leaves.
- Cook it for another 2 minutes and the delicious Chicken Pulao is ready!

Salt - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Dahi - 1 cup (sour preffered)
Water - 1.5 liter
First Tadka - Ghee - 2-3 spoons
Black peppercorn - 1 tsp
Methi seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 2 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch
Haldi - 3/4 tsp
Green chili - 1
Pakora
Palak or methi leaves - ½ cup
Onion - 1 small
Ginger - ½ tsp
Ajwain - ½ tsp
Green chili - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder - ½ tsp
Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
Baking soda - ¼ tsp
Haldi - ¼ tsp
Dahi - 1/4 cup
Besan - 1 cup
Oil - to deep fry
Second Tadka
Oil - 1 tsp
Red chili - 3 broken
Hing - ¼ tsp

This dish is essentially made up of 5 ingredients found widely across the Great Thar Desert. For ages, this has been the mainstay food of travellers across the desert. It has long shelf life after being cooked and does not require refrigeration unlike other foods
Ingredients:
Ghoondha 50g
Ker 50g
Sangri
Kumti
Dry mango
Oil 2tb
Mustard seeds 1ts
Cumin seeds 1ts
Salt
Coriander powder 1ts
Red chilly powder 1 tb
Turmeric
Dry mango powder ½ ts
Chopped coriander ½ b
METHOD:
All dry ingredients boil for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, add half of the boiled ingredients, add salt, coriander powder, red chilly powder, turmeric, then add rest of the boiled ingredients, add dry mango powder, mix it well and cook for some time and switch of the flame. Garnish with chopped coriander.

So maybe we can't outrun cheetahs or antelope, but humans are uniquely adapted for long distance running. What does science have to say about marathon running? To find out, (and because I was feeling a little crazy) I decided to run one!

Ingredients
Atta-1 1/4 cups
Oil -
Water
Salt-to taste
Water-
Filling
Potato-2 big
Green Chilli-4
Coriander leaves -handful
Grated Ginger-1tsp
Big onion-one small
Cumin powder-1/4tsp
Chilli Powder-1/4 tsp
Garam Masala-2 pinch
Kashmiri chilli powder-1/4tsp
Dry mango powder-one pinch |(opt)
Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
Method
Dough
Mix water ,salt, and oil ..mix well ..then add flour and mix together .., knead well to make a soft dough ..Keep the dough aside for 15 minutes in a tight container
Filling
Cook the potatoes by adding salt and 2 cup of water . .If u are cooking in cooker then 1 whistle is enough ..Once cooked remove from the fire and open the cooker and let them cool down.Don't pour water on it .After the potatoes are cold enough to handle, peel the skin off and mash them well.
Heat oil in a kadai,add finely chopped onion ,green chilli d ginger .saute till transparent ..
Then lower the flame and add all powders,saute till raw smell goes ..
Then add mashed potato d salt ,and mix well .. Cook till u get a dry mixture (moisture free)
Then add finely chopped Coriander leaves ..mix well..check the taste and adjust
And allow this mix to cool down
Making Parathas
Divide the dough and potato filling in to equal parts
.Roll the dough into small circles and place the potato balls in the center..
Seal by pulling the edges of the rolled dough together to make a ball.
let the ball to settle for 2 minutes before rolling them ..Now roll the balls .Lightly press the ball on the sealed side and keep it on the top side when rolling .Roll the balls into medium size ..when u feel sticking in the rolling surface then lightly sprinkle the atta on both side of the semi rolled paratha .
Heat a pan on high flame .place the paratha on the pan.after 1 minute flip the paratha over ..Then after 1 minute turn to the other side .
You should see some golden brown spots on the top side.Then spread 1 tsp of oil or ghee on the paratha ..Again flip the paratha and lightly press the puffed areas with a spatula.Flip again do the same .When golden colour on both sides remove from the fire ..so ur all time favourite aloo paratha is ready to serve ..Serve with curd and pickle …
If the filling is coming out ,then put the filling in the fridge for sometime to get cool ..Then make parathas..

आटा - 1 1/4 कप्स

नमक - स्वादनुसार

आलू - 2 बड़े
हरी मिर्च - 4
धनिया - एक मुठीी भर
आद्रक - कसा हुआ -1 tsp
प्याज - 1 बड़ा
जीरा पाउडर - 1/4 tsp
लाल मिर्च पाउडर = 1/4 tsp
गरम मसाला - 1 चुटकी
कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च - 1/4 tsp
अमचूर पाउडर - 1 चुटकी (ऑप्षनल)
हल्दी पाउडर - 1/4 tsp
विधि
पानी, नमक और तेल अच्छी तरह से मिलाए... इसमे आटा जोड़ें और एक साथ मिलाए. इस मिश्रण को अच्छी तरह नरम होने तक गूँधे. इस गूँधे हुए आटे को एक टाइट कंटेनर में 15 मिनट के लिए रखे.
फिल्लिंग
थोड़ा नमक और 2 कप पानी में आलू को पका लीजिए. अगर कुक्कर मे पका रहे हो तो 1 व्हिस्ल काफ़ी है.
आलू पकने के बाद कुक्कर को स्टोव से निकले और ढक्कन खोलके ठंडा होने के लिए रख दे.
आलू ठंडा होते ही उंसका छिलका निकलके स्मॅश कीजिए.
कढ़ाई मे तेल गरम करे. चौप किए प्याज, हरी मिर्च और आद्रक डालके अची तरह भुने.
अब आँच धीमी करके सभी पाउडर डाले और कच्चा गंध जाने तक भुने. अब स्मॅश किए आलू और तोड़ा नमक डालकर अच्छी तरह मिक्स करले. एक ड्राइ मिक्स्चर मिलने तक पकाए. अब आवश्यानुसार धनिया डालकर मिक्स करले और स्वाद देखे.
पराठा बनाने की विधि
गुँधा हुआ आटा और आलू की फिल्लिंग को बराबर हिस्सों मे कर ले. इन हिस्सों को बेलकर छोटे गोल बनाइए और बीच मे फिल्लिंग रखे और बेले हुए आटे को चारो ओर से उठाक्कर बंद करे.किनरो को सील करे और फिर से इसे एक गोले का आकार दे.
एक गोल आटे को चाकले पे रखे और धीरे से दबाए. उसके उपर तोड़ा सा सूखा आटा चिड़के. मीडियम साइज़ मे बेल ले.
पेन को तेज आच पर रखे और पराठे को सेकने दे. एक मिनिट बाद पराठे को पलट ले जब पराठे की सतह का रंग बदलने लगे. जब 1tsp तेल या घी डाले. पराठे को दोनो तरफ से सुनहरे रंग होने तक सेके.
तय्यार हें गरमागरम आलू के पराठे. दही और आचार के साथ सर्व अरे.

Sarojben Parekh (Padmarani) is a kind hearted, compassionate lady. She has a simple motto in her life: her child should go to sleep hungry. When others get to know about Sarojben’s noble deeds, routine, they get impressed and follow her footsteps. Soon this becomes a mass movement with thousands of mothers and volunteers joining in, and tens of thousands of children getting home-cooked food daily. For a strange reason, she becomes popular as ‘Five Star Aunty’. People eagerly wait for Five Star Aunty’s daily lunch box. One night, Sarojben witnesses an accident. સરોજબેન પારેખ (પદ્મારાણી) ખુબ જ દયાળુ અને લાગણીશીલ છે. તેમના જીવનનો એક સરળ સિદ્ધાંત છે - કોઈ પણ બાળક ભૂખ્યું ન સૂવું જોઈએ. તેઓ માને છે કે જો દરેક મા પોતાના બાળકો માટે રાંધતી વખતે અન્ય ભૂખ્યા બાળક માટે પણ રાંધે, તો જગતમાં ભૂખનું નામોનિશાન ન રહે. અન્ય લોકો પણ સરોજબેનના ઉમદા વિચાર અને કાર્યોથી પ્રભાવિત થઈ તેમના પગલાને અનુસરે છે. ટૂંક સમયમાં હજારો માતાઓ અને સ્વયંસેવકો આ સદ્કાર્યમાં જોડાય છે અને હજારો બાળકો સુધી ઘરેઘરે ખોરાક પહોંચાડવાની એક સામુહિક ચળવળ શરૂ થાય છે. ફાઇવ સ્ટાર હોટેલ જેવું ખાવાનું લોકોને ખવડાવવાવાળા સરોજબેન 'ફાઇવ સ્ટાર આંટી' તરીકે લોકપ્રિય થઈ જાય છે. એક રાત્રે, સરોજબેન એક અકસ્માતના સાક્ષી બને છે. જ્યારે બીજા લોકો ફક્ત પૂતળાની જેમ ત્યાં ઉભા હોય છે, ત્યારે સરોજબેન પીડિતને હોસ્પિટલ સુધી પહોંચાડે છે. તેઓ અજાણી વ્યક્તિનો જીવ બચાવીને ખુશીની લાગણી અનુભવે છે, પણ તેમને ખબર નથી કે આ બનાવ તેમના જીવનની દિશા અને દશા બદલી નાખશે. આ નાટકમાં 'છેલ્લો દિવસ'ના મલ્હાર ઠાકરે (વિકી) સરોજબેનને પુત્રની યાદગાર ભૂમિકા ભજવી છે.
