Red Funnel is the original Isle of Wight Ferry service, and our terminal at Southampton is the gateway to and from the Island. We operate over 35 ferries to the Isle of Wight every day, with crossing times as short as 23 minutes for our Hi-Speed Service.

East Cowes is a town and civil parish[4] to the north of the Isle of Wight, on the east bank of the River Medina next to its neighbour on the west bank, Cowes.
The two towns are connected by the Cowes Floating Bridge, a chain ferry operated by the Isle of Wight Council.
East Cowes is the site of Norris Castle, and Osborne House, the former summer residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Prince had a major influence on the architecture of the area, for example on the building of St Mildred's Church in nearby Whippingham, which features distinctive turrets imitating those found on a German castle.

I have put together this video of the 3 Red Funnel Vehicle Ferries, Red Falcon, Red Eagle & Red Osprey all arriving at Southampton from East Cowes on the Isle of Wight and again departing for East Cowes which was filmed today in the afternoon of the 5th April 2018 from a few different locations around the Red Funnel Ferry Terminal, I hope you all enjoy watching them just as I did.

Red Funnel Trip To Cowes Isle of Wight From Southampton 16/09/16
Took a ferry trip to Cowes Isle of Wight aboard the Red Funnel Ferry Red Falcon on 16/09/16 had to go to a friends wedding on the 17/09/16 so this video clip is a small record of my views from Southampton down the Solent to Isle of Wight.
As we leave Southampton saw three cruise ships the Queen Elizabeth, Mein Schiff 5 new for 2016 and Queen Mary 2, later in the video we pass Fawley Oil Refinery and Hamble Oil Storage Jetty and pass Red Eagle and Red Osprey also RedJet 4 and 6 the new build for 2016 and onwards to Cowes where we disembark to try get onto the Cowes Chain Ferry to cross from East Cowes to West Cowes but instead took the long way round to get to where we wanted to be all in all it was a very smooth trip.
