REHOBOTH BEACH AND BOARDWALK - Episode 23
Come with us and visit the classic beach town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware! The boardwalk is lined with restaurants, shops, hotels and amusements. In summer, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand presents free concerts. Though our visit was brief, we still managed to get a lot in with a visit to the beach, Robin Hood Family Restaurant and enjoyed some live music at the bandstand. We then made our way to Hopkins Farm Creamery to see their cows and taste the ice cream. This episode closes out with a special new song that Kathleen wrote. Enjoy!

This home features 3 bedrooms with 2 queen sized beds , 1 full bed 1 twin beds(extremely comfortable beds) on the first floor 2 1/2 bathrooms and a finished lower level with a double/full sleeper sofa and full bath. Well furnished, modern open, high ceilings large living room with TV - DVD and tons of books overlooks the backyard and a huge pool with a diving board.
The house features a well equipped kitchen with all new appliances, and all of the cooking tools/dishes you need. Lots of interesting books and games. Bright and Sunny. Open floor plan. Ceiling fans throughout.
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware's largest and liveliest beach resort, which merges into Dewey Beach at its southern end. It attracts so many escapees from DC that it's known as the Nation's Summer Capital -- more family oriented than other beach towns, It features a wooden boardwalk, one of the last on the east coast. It stretches along the Atlantic to either side of Rehoboth Avenue -- it acts as the main drag, its four short blocks clogged with souvenir shoppers browsing though the usual array of T-shirts and seaside kitsch. Most of the restaurants and nightspots are concentrated here, with Thrashers French Fries stand and Dolles salt water taffy.It's a unique vacation spot where you can swim, bask in the sun, stroll the Boardwalk or walk in the Historic 'Pines', join the fun at numerous family oriented sport events and activities. The Town is anchored by the Bandstand and many wonderful shops and restaurants line the quaint streets.
Lewes 5 miles from Rehoboth Great old town!: Lewes was first settled by the Dutch in 1631, the townspeople have taken great pride in their historic and seafaring heritage.Situated where the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet (Cape Henlopen). This location provides both bay and ocean beaches for swimming as well as all types of sport fishing and pleasure boating opportunities. 4,013 acres of preserved lands in Cape Henlopen State Park, you find beautiful beaches,, nature trails, bird sanctuaries and an education center.Lewes is a walking town. featuring the Historical Society's complex and the historic district, museums, shops,ranging from antiques to modern gallery art, many fine restaurants. Well worth a trip. Rent a bike ..easy biking to Cape Henlopen State Park. Lewes is the where the Ferry to Cape May NJ is located.

Just a quick walk down the Garfield Parkway section on a sunny day in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Begins at the totem pole where DE-1 (Coastal Highway) meets DE-26, and ends at the boardwalk, about 250 yards away. (some random lady talked to me while I was filming...if this was you, sorry....:( )
