Richardson, Texas
Richardson is a city in Dallas and Collin counties in the State of Texas. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 99,223. In 2014 the population was estimated to be 108,617. Richardson is an affluent inner suburb of Dallas and home of The University of Texas at Dallas and the Telecom Corridor with a high concentration of telecommunications companies. More than 5,000 businesses have operations within Richardson's 28 square miles, including many of the world's largest telecommunications/networking companies: AT&T, Ericsson, Verizon, Cisco Systems, Samsung, MetroPCS, Texas Instruments, Qorvo, and Fujitsu.

An Evening With Bill Richardson
On Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 Bill Richardson joined members of the LBJ Presidential Library for a special evening in conversation with LBJ Library Director Mark Updegrove.
Richardson has led a distinguished public service career as a U.S. Congressman (1982-1996), U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (1997-1998), and Secretary of Energy under President Bill Clinton (1998-2000). He also served as Governor of New Mexico for two terms, from 2003-2011.
As a diplomat and special envoy, Richardson engaged in negotiations with Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, the Taliban, two generations of North Korean leadership, and many more of the world’s most infamous dictators. He has received four Nobel Peace Prize nominations and successfully won the release of hostages and American servicemen in North Korea, Cuba, Iraq, and the Sudan.

CHAPTER 01 Julia Ideson Building, Houston Metropolitan Research Center
Located in downtown Houston, across from City Hall, is the Julia Ideson Building of the Houston Public Library, a beautiful Spanish-Renaissance style building that holds one of the largest collections of Texas history in the state.
One focal point of the historic building is the Houston Metropolitan Research Center which is the premiere repository of Houston history. Housed in the building are extensive photographic collections depicting the history of Houston, the African American Collection, one of the finest Latin American Collections in the nation, valuable rare books, as well as large murals and original oil paintings.
Surrounded by large oak trees and landscaped courtyards, the Julia Ideson Building itself is one of the most significant architectural landmarks in Houston.

Researchers use historic maps to better understand and document the settlement and development of early Texas.
Texas impresario Stephen F. Austin compiled a map of his colony in 1830. That map shows the first Anglo settlements in Texas, which was a part of Mexico at the time. His first colony had 300 settlers.
News paper publisher Gail Borden designed the original plat of the new town of Houston, and the same street grid now forms downtown Houston. Yes, it is the same Borden of Borden's Milk fame.
The town of Harrisburg, along Buffalo Bayou, was established in 1826 by John Richardson Harris, one of Stephen F. Austin's original 300 Anglo American colonists, and the man for whom Harris County (Texas) is named. Mexican troops under the leadership of Gen. Santa Anna burned the town in 1836 during the Texas Revolution. The town of Harrisburg is now a part of Houston and is the located in Houston's historic East End.
The first railroad in Texas began operating from Harrisburg in 1852. An 1880 map shows how the railroads fanned out in all directions from Houston.

Woman Calls Police on me in Tampa Florida City hall. Looking for job and conducting a first amendment audit. I was approached by a woman in the building and told I did not belong there. She attempted to corner me in elevator with her in the building. She called cops on me while filming the whole thing. This type of Harrassment is encountered far too often in America. Police calls and Harrassment.

Dallas Demonstrators Rally Against Racism
(20 Aug 2017) Dallas officials are expecting thousands of people will show up for an evening rally against white supremacy at City Hall plaza, a short distance from the city's Confederate War Memorial.
Several police sharp-shooters could be seen on top of nearby buildings ahead of the 7:30 p.m. rally.
We already fought a war about Nazism, we're not going to do it again, said Justin Normand, one of the first demonstrators to arrive. He held a sign that read, You Belong.
This is absolutely unacceptable, he said. My relatives fought against that mess. I had a great uncle who was paralyzed all of his life from being shot down. We're not going there again.
About a half-dozen people wearing camouflage toted long guns and other weapons as they walked through Pioneer Park, a Civil War cemetery. They said they were patrolling to make sure there is no vandalism to graves or the Confederate memorial.
