Riding on a Segway while touring Rome makes it very easy see a lot while having fun -- easier than walking and you cover a lot of sites. Part 1 shows how to ride the Segway then takes off on a ride to Trajan's Market and along Via dei Fori Imperiali where we gain a view of the Colosseum and the Basilica of Maxentius and Constantine.

The Umbilicus Urbis Romae — Navel of the City of Rome — was the symbolic center of the city from which, and to which, all distances in Ancient Rome were measured. It was situated in the Roman Forum where its remnants can still be seen. These remains are located beside the Arch of Septimius Severus, behind the Rostra. Originally covered in marble, the Umbilicus is now a forlorn-looking brick core some 2 metres high and 4.45 metres in diameter. In ancient times, this was considered the center of the known universe and we love rolling through these special places in the world! Keep on rolling at where we're raising money for a great cause! Punch it!
