RV Trip: Moab Adventure
This video is about RV Trip to Moab Utah. Moab is the best place in Utah for RV adventures. On this trip to Moab we stayed t the Portal Rv Campground. It is one of our favorite parks in Moab. We spent the first day on a ATV/ side by side adventure along the Green River. We visited the Rotary Park on 680 Mill Creek Drive. On day two we loaded up the trailer and went to Corona Arch for a quick four mile hike. It is a free area for hiking with lots of parking.

Mark A. Reed - Silent Bonsai American Bonsai Collection Exhibition
Master Bonsai Artist Mark A. Reed - Silent Bonsai exhibited his intriguingly innovative American Bonsai Collection at the Orland Park Library - Orland Park, IL. In commemoration of the National Park Service's 100-Year Anniversary, the artist created a stunning replica of the world-renown iconic Delicate Arch of Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. The Colorado Plateau orange sandstone soil ideally captures a region like no other in the United States to weave a historical folklore for an 'American' bonsai narrative. The Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Arches are four among the nine National Parks located on the 130,000 sq. mile Colorado Plateau Province that encompasses the Four Corners area of the American west (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona). Silent Bonsai Chinese style bonsai incorporate the same sandstone soil used to embellish the Delicate Arch replica for the one-of-a-kind meticulously designed (invented) artificial art creations. Dinosaur Bones and Tracks - Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail, Moab, Utah
The Mill Canyon site preserves two sites associated with dinosaurs of the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous periods.
The Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail itself is a short trail that follows the side of a small bluff past several exposed petrified bones from various types of dinosaurs. Visitors on this trail will also see some petrified wood and the ruins of an old copper mill. The Desolation Towers rock formation can be seen in the distance.
Nearby is the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trackways site, an exposed section of petrified muddy lakeshore that features dozens of dinosaur and crocodile tracks. Although the tracks suggest specific types of dinosaurs - including a large meat-eating dinosaur for which no bones have ever been found - the specific species of dinosaurs are unknown.
Both sites are accessed off Highway 191 north of Moab, but the dirt and sand road to the bones site should be avoided when wet.
Please don't touch the bones or step on the tracks so that future visitors can also enjoy the experience.
The Photos (in order)

U17A0733 - Tail bones from a sauropod, likely a Camarasaurus
U17A0734 - Rib bone of a sauropod
U17A0723 - The Dinosaur Trail also features a nice view of the distant Determination Towers
U17A0750 - Tracks from a Carmelopodus-like theropod
U17A0760 - A track from a brontosaurus-like sauropod
U17A0743 - Researchers believe that this footprint and other markings indicated that a crocodile came through here, sliding on its belly and dragging its tail behind it through the mud

AYL Transcontinental Railroad Golden Spike National Historical Park Tunex Teraflex
It was the romantic age of travel when railroads were king. Today on AYL will get a glimpse of that era with the recent visit of the Big Boy to Ogden. It's the biggest steam locomotive ever built. So how do you keep 1.2 million pounds of locomotive running, we'll find out. Then we will visit the place where the railroad era became a reality. The big festivities may be over, but the experience goes on all summer long. And we will show you how to make a do-it-yourself railroad trip across northwestern Utah. So, blow the whistle and all aboard, At Your Leisure is next.

Semi truck sends snow plow over embankment in Utah canyon
On Thursday, according to the Utah Department of Transportation, a semi truck driver tried to pass a snow plow in Spanish Fork Canyon — but clipped the plow and sent it over a 300-foot embankment in Spanish Fork Canyon.

The video was shot from an uninvolved car, traveling in the opposite embankment. Video supplied by UDOT.
