I'm not sure that real or fake, you should know what is right and wrong. Good Luck! Saigon Square Shopping Mall is air conditioned and under cover so it is far more pleasant than shopping in the nearby Ben Thanh Market. SAIGON'S Best MARKETS & MALLS | BEN THANH Night Market & Saigon Square Ho Chi Minh City
Day 52- Exploring Ho Chi Minh City's (Saigon) best night markets, malls, and food markets! We heard the Ben Thanh Night Market (Chợ Bến Thành) was the place to be if you are looking for some Vietnamese souvenirs and a fun night out so we made that a priority. We were also able to visit some other shopping markets and malls such as the Saigon Center, Takashimaya Mall, and the Saigon Square.
Spent the whole day shopping and hunting for great deals and some souvenirs to bring home from Vietnam. All of the markets we went to seemed to have some very cheap prices for most of the items. There were a lot of clothing, bags, shoes, and souvenirs and trinkets in most of the malls. There were also a lot of fake items we saw too so shop wisely depending on what you want.
Overall these were some of the best malls and markets we visited in Vietnam while we were here, I would probably put Ben Thanh Market as the first choice to shop since there are such a variety of items to shop for there and the atmosphere was very lively. For casual shopping I would go to the area where the Saigon Square, Saigon Center, and the Takashimaya Mall is because you can also find an assortment of items there as well, it is just not as big of a night event as the Ben Thanh Market.

Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1 is a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, Vietnamese art and other souvenirs. Here, you’ll find eating stalls inside the market where you can get a taste of hawker-style Vietnamese cuisine or simply cool off with a cold drink when the bargaining becomes too much.
The market is big, difficult to navigate at times and certainly best avoided during the hottest part of the day but all the same its well worth a look. When night falls, restaurants around the perimeter of the market open their doors creating a vibrant street side scene filling the air with the scents of wok-fried noodles, barbecued fish and meats. One of Saigon’s oldest landmarks, Ben Thanh offers a great atmosphere that is absolutely authentically Vietnamese.

Đường Hai Bà Trưng(Hai Ba Trung Street) is named after the two brave Trưng sisters who bravely fought against foreign aggressors a long time ago(~1 A.D.).
Since it was the largest road during the French colonial time, hundreds of shops and hotels are located along this road. You will never get bored!
Not only can you find here another Saigon Square for low-price clothing, but also you can visit the Le Van Tam Park which is the largest park in the city center (of course, except for the zoo), the eye-catching pink-colored Tan Dinh Church, and Tan Dinh Market, a great place to buy silks and all kinds of fabrics with exotic patterns. This and more, all along the Hai Ba Trung Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
