Malgré une qualité qui n'est totalement pas au rendez-vous (2ème essai), voici le Beffroi d'Arras avec son concert de carillon ce lundi 6 décembre 2010 JOUR DE LA FÊTE de SAINT NICOLAS ; ce dernier devrait sur une autre vidéo descendre en rappel du haut du Beffroi et cela devant de très nombreux enfants arrageois venus depuis 17 heures (heure locale) voir et écouter sous une température locale en dessous de 0°

Opération délicate pour descendre le bourdon du haut du beffroi de Bergues
Le bourdon doit être descendu du beffroi de Bergues. Une dépose rendue indispensable pour permettre les travaux d'urgence de consolidation du campanile, fragilisé par les mouvements de la plus grosse cloche du carillon. Mais les une tonne et demi de l'objet ne facilitent pas la manœuvre.

The Chartres Cathedral (full name Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres) is located in the medieval town of Chartres, about 50 miles from Paris. Chartres Cathedral one of the greatest achievements in the history of architecture, it is almost perfectly preserved in its original design and details. Chartres' extensive cycle of portal sculpture remains fully intact and its glowing stained-glass windows are all originals. Chartres is thus the only cathedral that conveys an almost perfect image of how it looked when it was built.

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, known widely as the Upper Church, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica within the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in France. Constructed between 1866 and 1872 and consecrated in 1876, it was the second of the churches to be completed. The church was built on top of the rock above the Grotto and next to the Basilica of our Lady of the Rosary. Designed by architect Hippolyte Durand, the Neo-Gothic church seems to emerge directly from the rock of Massabielle.
The exterior is dominated by a 70 metres (230 ft) spire, and two lesser spires (not completed until 1908). Above the entrance is a mosaic depicting Pope Pius IX, who defined the dogma of the Immaculate Conception in 1854. The clock plays the Ave Maria hourly, and chimes the hours with a 2-tonne bell called Jeanne-Alphonsine. The other bells in the tower are named Geneviève-Félicie (weighing 1800 kg), Hermine-Benoîte (1100 kg), and Cécile-Gastine (800 kg).
The walls are lined with ex voto plaques, and banners from official National Pilgrimages of the past. It has a series of stained glass windows depicting various events in the story of Lourdes, and the clerestory windows depict Mary as the Second Eve.

The Saint-Martin's Church (Sint-Maartenskerk in Dutch) is the main church and one of the principal Gothic monuments of Kortrijk, Flanders, Belgium. The church is dedicated to the saint Martin of Tours and was built between 1390 and 1466. This church was built after the devastation of the first gothic Saint Martin's church, which was located at the place where before a Roman church stood (built in 650).
This film features both external and internal views of the church, including the clock tower, the architecture, structure, ceiling, columns, internal decor, flowers, stained glass windows, pulpit, wood carvings, organ, statues, paintings, sculptures, candles and various other Christian icons.
