FREAKS! (aka A Brigadoon on a Segway)
A real brigadoon creates havoc on a rented Segway in Anchorage Alaska.
Alaska, USA - June 2011 - Part 2
In part 2 we visit Denali National Park (& see lots of land animals), then it's back to Anchorage where we see more sled dogs in action, before taking the Scenic Alaskan railway back to Seward for the start our cruise. I've lost quite a bit of video from here including an ATV tour in Denali and a segway tour in Anchorage so be sure to check out my blog for more details and photos.

Garden Of The Gods Narrated Trolley Tour Around The Park
This video is the third and last installment of the Garden Of The Gods series, and it’s all about the trolley tour around the park. You will get to see stunning views while listening to Hawkeye (the trolley driver) give an incredible history lesson of the park, and of the area. Keep an eye out for Balancing Rock and Ship Rock. They are incredible formations and a must see when you visit. Also, you will not want to miss the Scotsman formation.
Thank you so much for for taking the time to be a part of mine, and my family’s passion for Disney and adventure, and the magic that comes from a place where dreams come true.

Don Munroe's Alaska Cruise 2013
This 17-minute HD video was produced by my good friend, Don Munroe, who joined my wife and me for a week-long Alaska cruise in August 2013 -- his first-ever cruise.
Sailing one-way from Vancouver, BC to Whittier, Alaska aboard the Norwegian Pearl, we enjoyed some of the best weather Alaska has had in decades, and made the most of our day-long stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, as well as crystal-clear sailing in Glacier Bay, and a day exploring Anchorage before flying home.
The video clips and stills were shot on my wife's iPhone 4S, and on Don's Sony HandyCam, and were edited together by Don using Windows MovieMaker 2012.
The music on the video is by Johnny Horton, Rusty Reid and Joe Loutchan, Jose Alfaro, and the Alaska String Band.
Jose Alfaro is a Peruvian street-musician in Vancouver; Rusty Reid and Joe Loutchan are Yukon Fiddle Champions, and the Alaska String Band we saw perform in Juneau; their website is AlaskaStringBand.com.
If you have any questions about anything in the video, don't hesitate to contact Don at VoyageurGuy@shaw.ca or me at AlanPerry1070@hotmail.com.
Thanks for watching!

Whittier Tunnel in Alaska
The video I took while driving through the Whittier Tunnel in May 2013.
The privately operated, 2.6-mile, dual mode Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel (aka Whittier Tunnel) connects the cities of Porter and Whittier on Prince William Sound, 65 miles southeast of Anchorage, Alaska. Originally constructed as a railroad tunnel in 1943, the tunnel was Whittier's only land link for over 50 years, during which time the city developed as an important intermodal barge-rail freight hub. In response to the growing number of people wanting to travel overland to Whittier, DOT&PF converted the tunnel for use as a one-lane combined highway and rail tunnel that allows cars and trains to take turns traveling through the tunnel.
The Whittier Tunnel conversion involved two innovative P3s. DOT&PF procured the conversion as its first design-build contract, which it awarded to Kiewit Construction Company. Construction began in September 1998 and involved replacing the grave track bed with concrete slab suitable for both rail and rubber tire vehicles. - Excerpted from the DOT's website (
Flying at a Park on Dale in St Paul
I finished a work event early in St Paul so I charged up a battery and took to the sky in a small park on Dale and I94. I was hoping to get a video of gridlock on I94 but the video was taken around 4 pm so traffic was light. It was uploaded in 1080p so bump up the quality if you can.
It was taken using a Mobius Action Cam by line of sight. The plane is a Flight Test Versa that I scratch built off their amazing plans (link below). It was running a prop drive 2826 1200kv motor, 25 amp Plush, and a 2200 3 cell, and controlled it with a 9X flashed with 9Xer on 2.4 ghz.

Skagway Alaska White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad Tour
This video showcases in-depth the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad in Skagway, Alaska. This is definitely the top attraction in Skagway and worth every dime of the ticket price. The railroad links the port of Skagway with Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory. The railroad was constructed in 1898 during the legendary Klondike Gold Rush as transportation to and from the goldfields. From the late 1980's until now the railroad has been used as a tourist draw. If you like this Skagway, Alaska White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad video then make sure to give it a thumbs up!
