LISBON, PORTUGAL — Walking Travel Tour【4K】????????
A Camera Floating Among The Crowd. Walking Around PORTUGAL by Wanna Walk — Welcome to LISBON, where geography is hard on the feet but very pleasant to the eye! The city is extremely hilly, in fact, Lisbon is built on seven hills.
Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.

Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture: salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes, the Algarve's beaches are a major destination and much of the nation’s architecture dates to the 1500 to 1800s, when Portugal had a powerful maritime empire.
This is a walking tour around Lisbon (Lisboa) the capital of Portugal. Be sure to visit the Castelo de São Jorge, Museu do Teatro Romano, Ponte 25 de Abril, Ponte Vasco da Gama, Aqueduto das Aguas Livres, Belem Tower and more. Be sure to check the Portuguese food, because it's just fantastic. Dining rituals tend to follow the Mediterranean siesta body clock.

Most restaurants are very small, family run and generally cheap. Some of them have a sheet on the door with the pratos do dia (dishes of the day) written on it. These dishes are usually cheaper and fresher than the rest of menu there, and unless you're looking for something specific, they're the right choice.

Hi guys. Are you looking for the best sunset cruises in Lisbon? Then this video is for you. Hi, I'm Maria from travelguidelisbon.com, and in this video I'm going to talk about the best shared and private sunset cruises in Lisbon. In the first 1/2 of the video I'm going to describe our best four options of shared sunset cruises, and in the second 1/2 of this video I'm going to talk about our top three picks of private evening tours in Lisbon. Now, I have created this video because there are literally hundreds of options of boat trips in Lisbon, and the task to choose the best one for you seems near to impossible. So, I have done the research, and narrowed it down for a small number of options for you, hopefully making your life and choice easier this way.
01:09-03:33
- So, the best four options for shared sunset cruises in Lisbon. Now, all the four options I have chosen for you are very similar in terms of duration. They all last for two hours. They all have a live guide on board also available in English. You will always have a welcome drink on board, and almost all the cruises depart from Belem. Now, the tour that the boat takes is also very similar. You will always have a look at the Belem district including the Belem Tower, the Monuments to Discoveries, the Cristo Rei statue, you will always pass under the 25th of April Bridge, and have a beautiful view on the hillsides of the historical Lisbon. Now, our first pick is a two-hour sunset cruise operated by a company called Pypas Cruises. They are known for their quality, and engaging guide on board. (...) On the second place there is a two-hour sunset cruise operated by the company called Lisbon Sail. (...) The third option is a two-hour sunset cruise operated by Palmayachts,(...). On the fourth place is the sunset cruise by Terra Incognita.(...). So these are the four best options picked by us for shared sunset cruises in Lisbon.
03:38-05:38
- And now about the best private sunset cruises in Lisbon. I have picked three top options for you. All the three options are very similar in terms of duration. They all last for two hours. They all have live guide on board. And they all depart in Belem. The route the boats take is also very similar to the previously described shared sunset cruises. So you will check out the Belem area. Pass under the 25 de Abril Bridge, and have a beautiful view on the historical hillside of Lisbon. Now if you're traveling with a small group of people, the best option for you would be the private yacht evening, operated by a company called Lisbon by Boat. (...). Now if you're looking for a romantic evening sunset cruise for just for the two of you, there are two best options for you. One of them costs 230 euros for the two of you, operated by Lisbon Sail. And you will be sitting on a sailing boat. With this company, you also have the option to book an extra dinner on board after the cruise. But you have to call them in advance to arrange that. Another option for just for the two of you is slightly more expensive operated by Pypas Cruises. (...).
05:39-06:06
Now, this was for today. I hope you enjoy the video, and I hope that I made your life a little bit easier when choosing the best sunset cruise for you. Because it's really not easy. And to check these trips in more details, and book them online, and check more useful tips and information on Lisbon, by visiting Lisbon, Please visit our website travelguidelisbon.com. Thank you, bye bye.

Best Places To Visit In Portugal:
1) CATHEDRAL OF SANTA MARIA MAIOR:
Often called simply the Sé, is a Roman Catholic church located in Lisbon, Portugal. The oldest church in the city is the see of the Archdiocese of Lisbon. Since the beginning of the construction of the cathedral, in the year 1147, the building has been modified several times and survived many earthquakes. It is nowadays a mix of different architectural styles. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.
2) SANTO ANTHONIO CHURCH:
It is a Roman Catholic church located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Lisbon (also known in the Christain world as Saint Anthony Of Padua). According to tradition, the church was built on the site where the saint was born, in 1195. The church is classified as a National Monument.
3) LISBON:
As the capital, Lisbon is an obvious choice as one of the best places to visit in Portugal. Lisbon is The City of Seven Hills, the Queen of the Sea, and The City of Light. After traipsing up and down these hills for two months, I know Portugal’s capital is worthy of all of these titles. Lisbon is big, but each neighborhood feels like its own little city. Go to Alfama to get lost in a maze of tiny alleys and backstreets, Barrio Alto for nightlife, Príncipe Real for upscale shopping, and Belém to witness where the greatest explorers set sail.
4) THE SANCTUARY AT FATIMA:
It was constructed over time in or near the area of Cova da Iria, where the three children witnessed the Marian apparitions of Our Lady of the Rosary (later known as Our Lady of Fátima by parishioners and pilgrims). The sanctuary includes various buildings, shrines and monuments to the religious, political and social consequence of the event dispersed throughout a complex of open panoramas and vistas dominated by the

and
6) THE BASILICA OF THE HOLY TRINITY.
7)THE SANCTUARY OF CHRIST THE KING:
It is a Catholic monument and shrine dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon situated in Almada, in Portugal . It was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, after the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon visited that monument. The project was inaugurated on 17 May 1959, while Portugal was ruled by the authoritarian President of the Council Ministers Antonio de Oliveira Salazar who gave his final permission for the project. The giant statue in cement was erected to express gratitude because the Portuguese were spared the effects of World War ll.

How to get from Lisbon Airport to City Center by Bus, Subway, Taxi, Uber or Transfer
We share our tips on how to get from Lisbon Airport to City Center by Bus, Subway, Taxi, Uber or Transfer. Check our comparison between means of transportation, on which options are the cheapest, fastest or most convenient.

00:00-00:19
- Hi guys, I'm Maria from travelguidelisbon.com and today I'm going to talk about transportation from Lisbon airport to the city center or to your hotel. So, basically, what are your options and comparing their costs, the time it takes, frequency and convenience.
00:30-01:24
- The Lisbon Airport is very conveniently situated very close to the Lisbon city center, just seven kilometers away, and there are plenty of transportation options you could choose from. I have also prepared a comparison table on the website, travelguidelisbon.com under the transportation section. There you could see all the options and compare them quite easily and quickly. So basically those options are public transportation, that includes Metro, local buses or the Aerobus bus service between airport and city center. You could, of course, take taxi or Uber or shared and private transfers. And now I'm going to talk about each of those options, just to give you basic information so you can make your choice before you arrive in Lisbon.
01:25-02:54
- Option one, Aerobus. Aerobus is a bus service between Lisbon Airport and the city center. There are two lines, both of them are making a loop coming back to the airport and they stop at the main points of interest in Lisbon such as Rossio, Sete Rios, Praca do Comercio or Marques de Pombal. For more stops and stations, please check out our website. The Aerobus starts running at 7:30 a.m. and it runs every 20 minutes, after 7 p.m., every 25 minutes, and the last one is at 11 p.m. So, if your scheduled to land after 10 p.m. I would not recommend this option for you because you might miss the last bus. (…)
02:55-04:03
- Option 2. Local buses 744 and 783. These local buses connect Lisbon airport with Lisbon's most important stations such as Marques de Pombal or Entrecampos. For all the stops and the exact schedule on the map, please visit our website. These buses run every 15 to 30 minutes and the last one leaves at around midnight. The ride will take around 25 minutes to get to city center when not in rush hour. (…)
04:04-05:30
- Option three, metro. Lisbon Airport is located at the final station of the Red Metro line called Aeroporto. The metro runs every 6-9 minutes. They start running at 6:30 a.m. and run til 1 a.m. in the morning. It is a very easy, convenient and cheap way to travel. The ride takes around 30 minutes to city center to Baixa-Chiado or Rossio. (…)
05:31-06:05
- Option 4, Uber. Lisbon is very well-served with Uber services, and most of the drivers, they do speak English. At the airport, at Terminal One, you would have to wait for your Uber service at the Kiss and Fly area, which is, I guess, a nice way of saying drop-off area. The ride would take around 17 to 20 minutes to city center, and would cost around 15 to 20 euros, more or less.
06:06-07:01
- Option 5, Taxi. The taxi station is conveniently situated right outside the arrivals hall at Terminal 1. The taxi is very similar in price to the Uber, around 15 to 20 euros to city center and the time takes 17 to 20 minutes to city center. (…)
07:02-08:20
- Options 6 and 7, private and shared transfers. So if you are traveling in a group of more than two people, or with little kids, or you are after a long and exhausting flight or land too late, or you are carrying a considerable amount of luggage, then private transfer could be a perfect solution for you. This is the most convenient way, and also very reasonably priced in Lisbon. You can rent a vehicle from 23 euros and a driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall and obviously take you to your doorstep. (…)
08:21-09:20
- Option 8, the Lisbon Card. As you might know, the Lisbon Card is not only a museums and attraction pass in Lisbon, but it also fully includes public transportation within Lisbon. That includes the Metro or the local buses from the airport. (…)
09:21-09:56
- So these are the transportation options from the Lisbon Airport to the city center or to your hotel. It is worth a thought before you land in Lisbon, just to check which is the best route for you, whether you are traveling alone or in a group or with your kids, how much luggage you have with you and what time you land. I hope you have found this video helpful and for more information on Lisbon, please visit our website and subscribe to our channel. Thank you, bye bye.

Day Trip to Sintra and Cascais - Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon
GREEN AND BLUE, MOUNTAINS AND SEA...
The perfect day trip from early spring through to late autumn.
Sintra is all you’ve read and more. It take less than an hour from Lisbon to travel back to the age of imperial Portugal and Europe’s original epicenter of Romantic architecture. Portuguese aristocrats have followed their Royals here since the 14th century. And it’s not hard to see why as you drive the region’s winding roads. Float away on the dreamy UNESCO World Heritage imagery revealed before you: sprawling baroque palaces amidst box hedges and fountains; towered and turreted summer residences shaded by magnificent formal gardens; hilltop princess-palaces silhouetted pink, yellow and red against a turquoise sky….
While Cascais, on the Coast, perhaps one of Lisbon’s most underrated enclaves, melds the laidback lifestyle of the American East Coast with European refinement and sophistication. It’s leisurely and casual yet uniquely chic – the elegant choice for well-dressed families seeking a more high-end beach retreat. Try Santini Gelati Fini – favourite of King Juan Carlos 1 of Spain. (
Finally, don’t miss Cape Roca—’where the land ends and the sea begins’ according to famous Portuguese poet Luís de Camões—marks Europe’s most westerly point. Head to the lighthouse for the best views. Don’t forget to collect your commemorative certificate: not everyone gets this close to the edge…

Our visit Lisbon travel guide covers some of the top attractions including the best in arts, entertainment, museums, nightlife and restaurants. We also cover off-the-beaten-path activities that you won't find in your typical tourism brochure or Lisbon city guide.
20 things to do in Lisbon, Portugal | Top Attractions Travel Guide:
Our first stop of the day was Sao Jorge Castle, which is an old Moorish fortification that sits on a hill overlooking Lisbon and the Tagus River. You can get some nice panoramic views of the city from here, and they also have peacocks roaming the grounds.
Miradouro das Portas do Sol is one of the many look out points in Lisbon that offers postcard-perfect views of the city. This particular terrace overlooks the Alfama district and it is always popular with tourists.
Carmo is a mediaeval convent that was ruined during the 1755 earthquake, and today it is used as an archaeological museum. It's a strange feeling walking down the ruined nave of the church and seeing blue skies above your head, but that's exactly what makes it worth a visit.
Another place to visit is Belem Tower. The tower was built on the banks of the Tagus River, and it was meant to act as both a defense system and a ceremonial gateway into Lisbon.
The Jeronimos Monastery is one of the most visited sights in Lisbon. It's one of the best examples of Late Gothic Manueline architecture, so have a close look at the intricate detailing when you visit.
A fun way to get around Lisbon's hilly streets is by riding the trams. There are different lines across the city, but #28 is the most popular one with visitors.
The Santa Justa lift is an elevator that connects the lower streets of Baixa with Carmo Square, and it is the only remaining vertical elevator in Lisbon. Though it is meant to serve a functional role, it is also quite popular with visitors who find the elevator a novel idea.
And that's a wrap for our week in the Portuguese capital! We hope you enjoyed this video and that it gave you some ideas of things to do in Lisbon. As always, if you have any other suggestion for travellers of places to visit and things to do around town, feel free to share them in the comments below. Wishing you happy travels!
This is part of our Travel in Portugal series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Portuguese culture, Portuguese arts, Portuguese foods, Portuguese religion, Portuguese cuisine and Portuguese people.

Destination/Property Market Guide to Baixa, Lisbon
Considered the true heart of Lisbon, between Chiado and Alfama, Baixa is where the capital’s historic and commercial centres meet. Having been rebuilt in the 1700s, Baixa’s beautiful architecture is neo classical with large town squares filled with an air of grandeur.
During the day the streets are bustling with locals and tourists soaking up the atmosphere in the large selection of restaurants, boutiques and traditional Portuguese shops on Rua Augusta. Plus with Avenida da Liberdade only a few minutes away, luxury shops are very much accessible within walking distance. When you feel like escaping the lively streets, you can always head down to the Tagus river at the bottom of Baixa, where people go to relax on the bank and lounge in the sun.

Lagos, one of the most attractive and historically important towns on the Algarve. Within imposing 14th century walls, the centre is a maze of winding cobbled streets that are home to over 350 bars and restaurants. The two main squares are a hub of activity, especially during the summer months when street performers and local musicians are on hand to entertain, making it a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by. Meanwhile, down the palm-lined avenida and across the bridge lies the modern marina, where a wealth of bars and cafes provide a popular meeting point for the town's well-established expat community to come together for a coffee, or to enjoy the sunset with one of the many wines to choose from.
Rich with a navigational history initiated by King Henry the Navigator, it was from Lagos many of Portugal's famed explorers such as Vasco da Gama, Ferdinand Magellan among others, set off for the New World beginning the Age of Discovery and the first wave of globalisation and trade as we know it today. 20 Things to do in Lisbon, Portugal Travel Video Transcript:
We feel like we know this city well, so in this Lisbon travel guide we’re going to show you around what we think are some of the best attractions. We only had 3 days in the city this time around, so this Lisbon itinerary will be perfect for any of you visiting on a long weekend escape.
We kicked off our first morning with a ride on Lisbon’s most iconic tram line:#28 bound for panoramic vistas and a hilltop castle. After postcard perfect views looking down over Alfama we went towards the castle, with a little detour offering a bit of street art.
St George Castle is a Moorish castle that looks down over the historic centre and the Tagus River. It’s one of the main tourist landmarks in the city and you get great views of Lisbon.
We circled back to visit the Jeronimos Monastery. Construction of this monastery was ordered by King Manuel, who selected the religious order of Hieronymite monks to occupy the monastery.
Pastéis de nata were created by the monks at the Jerónimos Monastery, and seeing as we were right next door, this was a very logical stop. After browsing at the Sunday Market we walked over to the Santa Justa Elevator, which is the only street lift in Lisbon for public service.
We hope you enjoyed our Lisbon travel guide and found it useful for planning your own trip. If you have any other suggestions of things to do in Lisbon please share those in the comments below.

Modern, animated, sophisticated for some, Vilamoura is a charming little seaside resort located in the Algarve, in south Portugal.
Its sublime cliffs, perched picturesque villages, its many golf courses, and its sumptuous fine sandy beaches have all created the reputation of this destination with strong seductive qualities.
While groups of friends or young couples certainly appreciate its feverish night life, families and culture lovers will probably be tempted by the captivating history of the village and its region.
