Shrimad Rajchandra was a Jain poet, philosopher, scholar and reformer. Born near Morbi, he was a prodigy and claimed to have recollection of his past lives at the age of seven. He performed Avadhāna, a memory retention and recollection test that gained him popularity, but he later discouraged it in favour of his spiritual pursuits. He wrote a large number of philosophical poetry including Atma Siddhi. He also wrote a large number of letters and commentaries and translated some religious texts. He is best known for his teachings on Jainism and his spiritual guidance to Mahatma Gandhi.

This festival, celebrating grace, devotion and expressing deep gratitude, saw thousands of devotees converge at the International Headquarters of the Mission from various corners of the world, to be in the shelter of the Master. Reminiscing the past and pledging to march forth in the future upholding spirituality and increasing one's inner depth, this Mahotsav was truly a glorious event.

A fundamental and important part of a seeker's spiritual practices is bhakti. One of the most essential components is Ajnabhakti, that is, a sequence of prayers ordained by the Guru, to be performed every day with great devotion. The noble intention of Ajnabhakti is to start each day of this priceless human life attained by the Lord’s grace, through connection with Him, extolling His virtues and conclude the day too with the memory of the boundless blessings bestowed by Him along with a sense of deep surrender. This facilitates an increase in one’s level of purity through the day and lifetime. This connection with the Lord and Guru ultimately culminates in connection with one’s Self.

Paryushan Mahaparva 2019 (26 August – 2 September) with Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai was an opportunity for seekers to begin their spiritual journey of inner transformation and connect with the Soul. Adding a higher purpose in life, Pujya Gurudevshri’s Pravachans on this sacred occasion unravelled the pathway to liberation and made a clarion call for seekers to make way for an inner awakening. Every morning, the pious ritual of Snatra Puja elevated seekers to the high plains of devotion. Celebrating 25 glorious years of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur's monumental growth, the Rajat Mahotsav was organised at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur in the pious presence of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai.

This festival, celebrating grace, devotion and expressing deep gratitude, saw thousands of devotees converge at the International Headquarters of the Mission from various corners of the world, to be in the shelter of the Master. Reminiscing the past and pledging to march forth in the future upholding spirituality and increasing one's inner depth, this Mahotsav was truly a glorious event.

Highlights of the Mahotsav included:
- Flagging off the Dharampur Tirth Ashtahnika Pratishtha Mahotsav (24 - 31 Dec, 2020) and Shila Pujan of the Jinmandir

Highlights | Mahamastakabhishek Ceremony on Shrimad Rajchandraji’s 150th Birth Anniversary, 4.11.17

On the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima, devotees awoke to a magnificent celebration, which witnessed Pujya Gurudevshri’s divine countenance immersed in overflowing veneration of Shrimad Rajchandraji. Emotions reached a crescendo and every pore burst with utmost reverence during the Mahamastakabhishek ceremony of the majestic Pratimaji honouring Shrimadji's 150th birth anniversary.

With the infinite grace of Bhagwan Mahavira, Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur played host to the ‘Yugpurush Saardh Shatabdi Mahotsav’, the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of #YugpurushShrimadRajchandraji with the inspiration of Pujya Gurudevshri from Thursday, 2nd November to Sunday, 5th November 2017.

Filled with divine festivities honouring Shrimad Rajchandraji’s exalted spiritual state, the celebrations were graced by Spiritual Leaders such as Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, Pujyashri Morari Bapu, Pujyashri Vivek Sagar Swami Maharaj, Pujya Swami Shri Chidanand Saraswatiji, Pujya Acharyashri Dr. Lokesh Muniji, Pujya Bhikkhu Sanghasenaji and Pujya Brahma Kumari Didi Dr. Nirmala. The festivities included a majestic shobhayatra and the unveiling of the world’s tallest Pratimaji of Shrimadji. Pravachans by Pujya Gurudevshri and revered saints, enthralling bhakti with renowned music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, a Maha Pujan of Shrimad Rajchandra Vachanamrut, a night dedicated to witnessing the journey of 1001 shows of ‘Yugpurush – Mahatma na Mahatma’, a pious Mahamastakabhishek ceremony, the Khaatmuhurat ceremony of the new 250-bed Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital, a drama ‘Aho! Rajchandradev – Ek Chaitanya Mahasagar’ and Atmarpit Diksha were all part of the momentous celebrations.
