Squamish Valley Golf Course - Hole 1 May 2017
The first hole is the longest Par 5 on the golf course. It doglegs slightly to the left with a generous landing area, a well placed tee shot down the left center opens up the Fairway for your second shot. The two Fairway Bunkers (between 200 – 240 yards) on the right side should be avoided.

Squamish Valley Golf Course - Hole 12
The twelfth hole is a Par 5 dogleg left with a long fairway bunker on the left side of the Fairway. (215 yds from the Tee) Bunkers to the left and right of the Green catch many shots and are difficult to execute good shots from. Lay up to 100-120 yds if you can’t reach the Green in two. You will have a better view of the Pin from that yardage.

Tee Time Squamish Valley Golf Course
While Squamish's setting is a happy accident of nature, it's not hard to think you've been transported to Austria's Eichenheim golf course at Kitzbuehel. Soaring snow capped peaks and ancient forests frame the valley and provide a stunning background to every view point.
Course condition is meticulously maintained and consistently superb. Drainage- always good- was improved again last year and grounds crews are constantly updating knowledge and skill sets to get the very most out of the greens and fairways.

The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, the golf course located behind the hotel is in dire need of repair. The course has so much potential and hopefully can be revived as I'd love to return and film the course or what it's capable of looking like.

Historic Langara Golf Course
In 1924, Macan was engaged by the Canadian Pacific Railway, a major Vancouver landholder, to develop an 18-hole course on a piece of property in South Vancouver bounded by 49th Avenue in the north, West 58th to the south, Ontario Street to the east and Cambie Street to the west.
They called it Langara and it was the first public golf course in British Columbia, opening for play in 1926.

Furry Creek- BC's most scenic golf course
Since opening in 1993, Furry Creek has drawn accolades and astonishment for its setting, design and sheer audacity. Carved into the side of a mountain, riven by streams and chasms, running hard along the shoreline, it is at once supremely challenging and at the same time playable for golfers of most skill levels if you approach it with a healthy attitude.
This is a course that plays you as much as you play it, defying you to elevate your game, use your imagination and get the better of it. Its stunning setting provides no end of visual distractions: mountain, ocean, forest and streams. Its layout across canyons, with blind shots, environmental hazards and elevation shifts, can intimidate the fiercest competitor.
This is not grip-and-rip golf. This is a course where patience, steady nerves and cunning are your closest allies. It is no different from other courses in that you simply have to play the shot in front of you. It is unique in that you will face shots you seldom come across in an order that shakes you out of your driver-iron-putter trance. There are few holes where rote play leads you to the next tee. You must observe, calculate, execute and above all, think.
