My best friend's extended family invited me to stay with them in Luebeck to see how different Northern Germany was compared to the Germany I was used to. It was totally unexpected how much they planned for me and for that I am so grateful!!! I had a fun time and I visited so many places!!!

Philip Leonhard Siefer was born in Hamburg in 1982, he holds a Dipl. Ing for Mediatechnologie, and found einhorn Products in 2015, creating a media madness about orgasms.
In 2014 Philip & Waldemar challenged fellow founders to join a pledge for sustainable businesses, reinvesting 50% of their profits, called the Entrepreneur’s Pledge. More than 100 experienced entrepreneurs joined the call. He and his Co-Founder Waldemar made their pledge come true in February 2015 with a sustainable Design Condom, breaking records in crowdfunding.
Since then einhorn became popular through different TV Shows and the home made TV Show Condom CEO.

Naziangriff auf Antifademo in Wismar - das Original
Am 12. August fand im Rahmen der Kampagne 'Keine Stimme den Nazis' eine antifaschistische Demonstration in der meklenburgischen Stadt Wismar statt.Vor dem Naziladen 'Werwolfshop' kam es zur brenzlichen Situation: Nazis mit Alu-Baseballschlägern wollen die Antifa-Demonstration angreifen. Die wenigen anwesenden Polizisten müssen ihre Pistolen ziehen, um die Nazis davon abzuhalten.

British Army Bases In Germany To Shut By 2019
Seven UK army sites will be axed as part of a major shake-up as soldiers return from Germany, it has been announced.
Defence Secretary Philip Hammond said the changes would save £240m a year in running costs as soldiers move into clusters in key locations.
Repatriating all troops from Germany will end Britain's long military history in the country, which dates back to the end of World War Two.
Most of the 15,000 still serving there and their dependents will come home by 2016, ahead of schedule. The remainder, around 4,500, will return by 2019.
The moves will primarily affect the RAF and Army.
Returning forces will mainly be stationed around Salisbury Plain, Edinburgh and Leuchars, Catterick, Aldershot, Colchester, Stafford and the East Midlands.
But several other sites will lose their military presence as the army shrinks.
These include Claro Barracks in Ripon, North Yorkshire, Howe Barracks in Canterbury, Craigiehall Barracks in Edinburgh and Cawdor Brracks in Brawdy, Pembrokeshire.
Parts of Redford Barracks in Edinburgh, Forthside Brracks in Stirling and Copthorne Barracks in Shrewsbury will also be available for disposal.
Under the plans, almost £2bn will be invested in army housing and bases. Around £1bn of that will go on new houses for service families and accommodation for single soldiers.
Another £800m will be spent on infrastructure and refurbishment of bases.
Some 1,900 new homes will be built for military families and accommodation to house 7,800 single soldiers.
Mr Hammond said the plans would give troops and their families greater stability.
He also defended the decision to drop plans to double the size of the army in Scotland and said the changes would ensure Britain retains an adaptable, capable force.
General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of the General Staff, said: The plan provides an excellent springboard for operations overseas and it affords welcome certainty over where people will live.
But shadow defence secretary Jim Murphy told MPs: There will be real disappointment at the closures across the UK today - from Canterbury, Ripon, Shrewsbury and Brawdy, where historic bonds are now being broken.
The decision not to send thousands more troops to Scotland was a real blow and will not be forgotten, Mr Murphy added.
The intention to carry out the changes was first announced in 2010 after the Strategic Defence Review.
Further details were expected before Christmas but were delayed in light of the Autumn Statement because the Ministry of Defence had to re-examine the figures.

Großeinsatz am Lübecker Flughafen Blankensee: Zwei Tage nachdem dort starker Rauch den Flugverkehr lahmgelegt hatte, ist es an fast der selben Stelle erneut zu einem Zwischenfall gekommen.

Gedacht als reiner Militärflughafen wurde
aber nie benutzt.
Nach 1933 und der eingeleiteten Aufrüstung der
Wehrmacht wurde Blankensee wieder zu einem
Fliegerhorst der Luftwaffe.
Auch von Lübeck Blankensee starteten die
britischen Dakotas zu ihren
Versorgungsflügen nach Berlin.
Seit der Zeit des Kalten Krieges waren in
Blankensee etwa fünfzig Jahre lang
Zieldarstellungsflugzeuge verschiedener Typen
und Generationen stationiert.(Nato)
Nach der Wiedervereinigung wurde der Flughafen
durch Charterfluggesellschaften genutzt.

Bielefeld is a city in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe Region in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With a population of 336,352, it is also the most populous city in the Regierungsbezirk Detmold. The city of Bielefeld is in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe, a region powered by high-tech manufacturing and where multinational corporations have their headquarters. One company most people will know is Dr. Oetker, which was founded in Bielefeld and has a museum all about the brand.
Although Bielefeld isn’t on many tourist maps there’s still plenty to uncover in the city. Sparrenburg on the first ridge of the Tutoburg Forest, is a fearsome castle with underground tunnels and a keep to discover in summer. The three main medieval churches in the city centre have valuable Gothic and Renaissance art, while the gabled 16th-century Burgher houses around Alter Markt set an idyllic scene for the Christmas market.
Bielefeld’s top historical monument is a castle rising over the south side of the city from the Sparrenberg hill. The castle is on the eastern limit of the massive Tutoburg Forest, which goes on for miles to the west and south of the city. Sparrenburg’s origins go back to the 13th century and during the 30 Years’ War in the 1600s it was coveted by Dutch, Spanish, Swedish and Hessian forces.
The city’s fine arts museum is in a building designed by feted American architect Philip Johnson in the 1960s, and has galleries for art from the 20th and 21st centuries. On Rathausplatz the old town hall holds the offices of Bielefeld’s mayor, while the remainder of the city’s administration has been moved to the modern extension the Neues Rathaus, built in the 1980s.
Next to the Altes Rathaus and built around the same time, the Stadttheater is an Art Nouveau opera house with solemn Baroque influences. Bielefeld is the home of the international food processing company, Dr. Oetker. In the Mitte district the Ravensberger Spinnerei was at one point the largest flax spinning mill in Europe, with 20,000 spindles whizzing during the peak of production.
In the Teutoburg Forest, the Heimat-Tierpark Olderdissen is a zoo for European species, and a favourite day out for families. Maybe the most picturesque spot in central Bielefeld is where the city’s market traded until 1903. This compact square is framed by lovingly restored Renaissance gabled houses, once owned by Burghers. The Altstädter Nicolaikirche got its present Gothic design in the 14th century but dates back 100 years before that.
On the Kahlenberg hill to the southwest of the centre, the Botanischer Garten celebrated its centenary in 2012. The park has lots to delight horticulture enthusiasts, but for everyone else is a great pick for a calming stroll. The Neustädter Marienkirche was founded as a collegiate church, and its most striking feature is an unusually long, three-storey-high choir from the 14th century.
The largest square in Bielefeld is to the northeast of the Innenstadt, and for most of the city’s history was a parade ground on the edge of countryside. On Kolsterplatz in the Innenstadt, St. Jodokus is a Late Gothic former Franciscan monastery from the early 1500s. There’s a time capsule of 20th-century industrial history in a former tablecloth and bed linen factory on Viktoriastraße. From 21 November Bielefeld’s Christmas Market sweeps across the pedestrian squares and streets of the Innenstadt.

FotoMarathon Lübeck lädt herzlich zu einem fröhlichen Fototag nach Lübeck ein. Entdecke diese wunderschöne Stadt durch das Objektiv Deiner Kamera. Schau dabei auch gern einmal auf kleine Details, die Dir sonst eher beiläufig erscheinen. Mitmachen kann jeder - ohne Altersbeschränkungen. Und kostenfrei.
Mit Laufen im herkömmlichen Sinn hat der FotoMarathon nicht viel zu tun. Vielmehr geht es darum, sich im Zuge des Fotowettbewerbes quer durch Lübeck zu bewegen und innerhalb von acht Stunden zehn Motive (Jugendliche: acht Motive) nach vorgegebenen Themen fotografisch umzusetzen. Kreativität, Improvisation und Spaß am Fotografieren sind dabei die Erfolgsfaktoren.

Philip Schlaffer aus Stockelsdorf (Kreis Ostholstein) wurde von einem Vorzeigekind einer Akademikerfamilie durch Rückschläge und Verluste in seiner Jugend zu einem Gewalttäter, Drogenhändler und Zuhälter.
Es ist die Geschichte eines Mannes, der zu einem der bekanntesten und gefährlichsten Extremisten ganz Deutschlands wurde. Er war Chef eines Outlaw-Motorradclubs, Kopf einer rechtsextremen Kameradschaft, die für einen Mord verantwortlich ist und einer der erfolgreichsten Händler von verbotener, rechtsextremer Musik.
Als er zehn Jahre alt war, zog seine Familie nach Newcastle in England um, berufsbedingt. Dort wurde Philip Schlaffer als Nazi beschimpft, einfach weil er aus Deutschland kam. Damals wusste er noch nicht einmal, was genau ein Nazi ist. Und trotzdem: Er strengte sich an und schaffte es, sich in England zu integrieren und wieder zu dem guten Schüler und erfolgreichen Sportler wie in Lübeck zu werden.
Als er aber nach gut vier Jahren wieder zurück in die Hansestadt musste, hatte er die deutsche Sprache fast verlernt, seine Freunde hatten kein Interesse mehr an ihm und die Schule schaffte er kaum. Dieser weitere Bruch in seinem Leben führte dazu, dass er sich schließlich zweifelhafte Freunde suchte.
Lübeck, Hamburg, Wismar und Berlin wurden die kriminellen Stationen des heute 40-Jährigen. Er baute einen der ersten rechtsextremen Onlineshops für verbotene Musik auf, gründete die Kameradschaft Werwölfe Wismar und wurde am Ende Chef des gewalttätigen Rockerclubs Schwarze Schar Wismar. Höhepunkt seiner kriminellen Karriere war ein Mord, für den sich später mehrere seiner Anhänger verantworten mussten.
Mehr als 30 Hausdurchsuchungen fanden in den knapp 20 Jahren seiner kriminellen Zeit bei Schlaffer statt, zweimal versuchte der Verfassungsschutz, ihn als V-Mann zu werben. Seine Häuser und Telefone waren verwanzt und wurden abgehört. Am Ende war es der Fahndungsdruck, der ihn dazu bewogen hat, aufzugeben und ein neues Leben beginnen zu wollen.
Während seiner zweijährigen Haft machte er eine Therapie und löste sich von der Szene. Heute arbeitet Schlaffer in der Prävention gegen rechts. Er will Jugendlichen helfen, den Hass, den auch er früher viele Jahre jeden Tag gespürt hat, in den Griff zu bekommen.
