See the island of Nantucket through our eyes! Spending the summer in Nantucket is a dream. From the minute you arrive and see the famous Brant point lighthouse, you'll fall in love. Our trip takes us all over the island by bicycle including steps beach, Cisco brewers, Bartlett's farm for lobster rolls, Sconsett, Madaket, plus much more. One of the best trips we've ever taken and I know we'll be back someday.

Mysterious Ocean Beast Discovered along Nantucket Beach in Massachusetts, US,
John Roy and a pal were strolling along Nantucket Beach in Massachusetts, US, earlier this week when they made the shocking discovery.
In front of them, stretched out on the sand, was the decomposing body of a mysterious ocean beast.

The Ocean Waves in Nantucket are so Cold, They're Rolling in as Slush
The unusually cold and snowy winter in southern New England has broken records and resulted in many indellible images, from collapsed roofs to massive snow farms and a frozen Hudson River in New York. Now, a new iconic image of the winter of 2014-15 can be added to the mix: slush waves. Nantucket-based photographer Jonathan Nimerfroh captured waves coming ashore that contained bits of ice, making them resemble a slurpee.

Best Nantucket Sunset | Pocomo Point Beach
Looking for an epic Nantucket sunset? Pocomo Point's calm, warm waters (given it's mid-way from the harbor to head of the harbor location) make for an oh-so inviting playground for kayakers, windsurfers and kiddos alike. Mike and I snuggled up on a blanket together and caught a gorgeous sunset here on our last night on the island! Stunning and romantic. I mean, it truly doesn't get much more perfect than this—am I right?!

MARTHA'S VINEYARD - Island off of Cape Cod in Massachusetts
Martha's Vineyard is an island roughly four miles south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts. The only public access to the island is via ferry. It is far more populated in the summer season, and is a common vacation destination for people in the Northeast. There are three population centers: Oak Bluffs (where most ferries take you to), Edgartown, and Vineyard Haven (Officially the town of Tisbury). Another common tourist destination is the far end of the island, in the town of Aquinnah. This tour leads you clock-wise around the island on a nice summer day, starting and ending in Oak Bluffs and on the ferry.
