Our excusion to the Lake Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park. 2 1/2 hours, 7 different courses). The girls and my wife also did the two double black diamonds--gutsy (too scary for me). I took forever on the hardest blue course--but got through it (HIGH!). What a great experience.

Hi Everyone, This is the awesome new Tahoe Tree Top Adventure Park.. also known as Tahoe Vista Adventure park as well. The adventure park is nestled close to North Shore of Lake Tahoe.. just a few minutes away from the beach. Its pretty close to several baseball and softball fields, including a disc golf course.. but the Treetop course is hidden away all by itself! Really cool! They have a sister park in Tahoe City as well!
This adventure park has just barely opened for a week, and we were able to be part of their soft opening! It has many courses from beginners to advanced.. green dots for 5 and up, blue dots for intermediate, and black diamonds for those that want just a little more adventure. They also have height... some can go as high as 40 feet in the air... double black diamonds.... All of the courses were observed by an attendant, so if you get stuck or if someone wasn't paying attention to instructions by the staff at the beginning,(ground school) they will help you along.
This course is not just a zipline course, but also an obstacle course in between the ziplines. As you go from one tree to the next, you may have rock climbing obstacles, pyramid obstacles, nets, or balancing logs/beams as well as island steps where it's just the strap that you are harnessed in to get you through. Make sure if you have intermediate skills, to do the lakeview course! Wonderful view of beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Kids ages 5 and up can go on this.. as well as no height requirement! This location is nice and cool... with a little breeze up in the treetops. The staff is wonderful and really helpful.. just to make sure your time up in the trees is something that will be a lasting memory for you and your friends/family!
Treetop Adventure Park - Tahoe Vista
The Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park in Tahoe Vista provides some great summer entertainment. What a blast! 2 1/2 hours of fun ziplining and running through obstacle courses. A must do if you are in the Lake Tahoe area and looking for something to do. There are courses for every level too. I highly recommend it. I might just see you there...cause I'm goin back!
