We Slept in a Royal Palace in India | Exploring Taj Mahal & Agra & Karauli
The day has finally arrived - we are seeing wonder of the world - the Taj Mahal! This is a day we will always remember - super special.
After the 4 hour drive from Delhi to Agra we spent our mid-morning exploring the walled off city of Agra Fort - which was a nice teaser as we could see the Taj in the background!
That afternoon our eyes were glistening as we saw the Taj Mahal in person - wow, we can see why it's called a world wonder. Even though we spent all afternoon there we still woke up in the morning to go and see it again for sunrise - best time to see it!
We then went on our way to explore the streets of Karauli, where we spent the night inside a Royal Indian Palace.

India: Final Days (Agra: Love City)
The last leg of India. We stayed with a lovely family in Delhi that barely spoke a word of english but made us feel more than welcome. We bore witness to the magnificent Taj Mahal and planned the next part of the expedition.
Exploring Jaipur in India | Everything to See & Do in the Pink City
We have arrived at our final spot here in India - the incredible pink city of Jaipur.
Our first spot on finding everything to see and do in this Indian city is heading to the Jaipur Royal Palace - one of the most photogenic palaces we have seen - with colors of choral pinks and oranges.
As we arrived quite late from our drive over from Karauli we went straight to bed to wake up at 4 am for something very special - a hot air balloon ride of the countryside of Jaipur.
Here we had a unique experience as we landed in a nearby village where the locals helped us get back on the road - which was super magical :)
We ended our time in Jaipur by catching Jeeps up to Amber Fort to reflect on our time here in India!

Most Beautiful City in Vietnam | Exploring Hoi An - The City of Lanterns
Learn more about travelling with us on our Flying the Nest Expeditions here:
Our final expeditions episode is here :( we have arrived in our last spot - Hoi An. Here we spent a few days exploring one of the most beautiful cities here in Vietnam - also known as the city of Lanterns.
After doing the Hai Van Pass from Hue down to Hoi Ann (absolutely stunning by the way) we checked into our hotel and headed out to explore the city.
First stop was picking up group hats, before going out onto the river to celebrate the lantern festival that takes place every full moon.
The next day we were on the hunt for some local dishes - we tried the famous Banh Mi and coconut coffee.
Check out our Vietnam Street food video:
On our second last day we held a workshop day with everyone on the expeditions, teaching them everything we know about running a successful YouTube channel, travelling full time and how we started doing this.
On our final day we headed out onto the rice fields by bikes before stopping off at a local farm to learn how the majority of the population of Vietnam works and lives, before learning how to cook our own Vietnam pancakes.
We just wanted to say thank you to everyone for making this trip unforgettable :)

In Benares Aurangazeb destroyed the Temple of Vishnu and a shrine at Mathura and built a Mosque..wmv
In Benares Aurangazeb destroyed the Temple of Vishnu and a shrine at Mathura and on its site built a Mosque.
The Mughal emperor Aurangazeb was a strict Muslim of Sunni sect. The story of his reign would have been very different had he followed the policy deemed wise by his father Shah-Jahan. He only liked others of his line. He lived in dread of being poisoned. His courtiers and officers lived in fear of him, for which all respected him none loved him. Made wise from personal experience he imprisoned his own sons, one for life and another for six years because he suspected them of disloyalty. Aurangazeb nevertheless was sufficiently a Mughal to maintain a court of dazzling splendor. Delhi the city of Shah-Jahan was his favourite capital. The beautiful and famous hall of audience in the palace was often the scene of such amazing brilliance as to merit the inscription over its entrance. The famous Peacock Golden Throne constructed by Shah-Jahan, was perhaps the most arresting ornament. The value of the Throne is more than Six crores in those days.
When twenty years of his reign had passed by Aurngazeb seemed to rouse him from the tolerance he never felt and only half concealed. In Benares he destroyed the Temple of Vishnu and then razed to the ground a shrine at Mathura and on its site built a Mosque. He had the idols brought to Agra where they were buried under the steps of a Mosque, so that Muslims might feel they were trampling them underfoot.
It was a gratuitous insult to all Hindus, including the Rajputs. Aurangazeb now bethought himself of the still unconquered Deccan and turned South onwards on a punitive expedition. In Marhattas of the Konkan and Western Ghats, Hindus emerged as tireless fighters in guerilla warfare. Their leader Shivaji having established himself in the Konkan, and after gaining several successes was forced to make terms with Aurangazeb. Shivaji spirit lived in the nation he had created.
Aurangazeb conquered the Deccan. The majority of his army had no taste for service under him and went over to Marhattas. His forces just failed of success mainly because of he no longer had the assistance of the Rajputs.
Aurangazebs zealous faith could not save him from the dread of approaching death. His grave is in the obscure village of Roza, near Aurangabad.
By destroying the worship place of others faith, Aurangazeb never attained any mental peace. It is a lesson for every body that they should not indulge in others faith.

Guinness World Record: 7 UNESCO Sites in 12 Hours by 21 Members in India
This “Most UNESCO world heritage sites visited in 12 hours” record is a new Guinness World Record. It was an expedition undertaken to showcase our country’s heritage and also most importantly to create awareness on the use of Sustainable Mobility. Sustainable Mobility is a model where people use public transport for commutation rather than private transport. Sustainable Mobility makes a positive contribution to the environment, social, and economic sustainability to the respective communities. The team specifically used only public transport in our country to achieve this record attempt.
The Seven UNESCO sites that were covered in the attempt was Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Keoladeo National Park, Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort, and Qutub Minar.
On 8 th of July the team started its expedition at 05:20 AM from the Taj Mahal, Agra. We reached Agra Fort, Agra and from there we travelled to Fatehpur Sikhri. Using a local bus the team then travelled to Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur. At 09:25 AM we took the Jan Shatapthi train to New Delhi. At New Delhi the first UNESCO site which we have visited was Humayun’s Tomb and then we travelled to Red Fort and finally finished our expedition at Qutub Minar.
It took us 11:33:18 to visit all the seven UNESCO world heritage sites with the distance of 274 kms using only the public transport. The team finished the expedition by 4:53 PM at Qutub Minar. During the expedition the team travelled in electric vehicle, metered taxi, government bus, auto rickshaws, train, metro train and walked for more than 5 kms.

We Went On A CRUISE (Exploring Spain & France on Sapphire Princess)
So excited that we are finally taking you all on a cruise!! Ever since starting this channel we have wanted to show you what it's like - and this one is taking us to Spain and France!
Check out the Princess Sapphire Cruise we are on:
We boarded the ship from Southampton in the UK which we will be making our home for the next 7 days. Upon checking in, we were one of the first to board - where we give you a room tour of our Balcony Cabin.
Before long, our sailing away party began as we grabbed our UK flags, a few cheeky cocktails and champagne and waved goodbye to England.
In the morning, and in the middle of the day we had a day at sea which meant sitting back and relaxing. We had a buffet breakfast on the 14th floor, went for a swim in the pool, had some pizza (then ice cream), played BINGO (and lost), played ping ping and then relaxed in the spa - perfect day in!
That night was formal night...which put us in a bit of a pickle as we don't tend to travel with anything fancy...
We ended the night watching movies under the stars with popcorn in hand!
Thanks to Princess Cruises for partnering with us on this series.
