St. Eusebius Church (Eusebiuskerk), Arnhem, The Netherlands
The St. Eusebius church also known as the Eusebiuskerk or the Grote Kerk is a fancy example of Gothic construction art. Characteristics of this are among other things the high windows and the fancy and complex roofs, at 93 metres is the largest church, and the largest building in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
The building contains an elevator that was added to the church in 1994, which allows visitors to travel to the top of the spire and view the city of Arnhem from its highest point. More intriguing perhaps, visitors can also enter the crypt at the rear of the church which contains a number of full skeletons lying in state, in the darkness of the church's crypt.

Lift tour Arnhem part 2 - epic scenic 1994 KONE-starlift at the eusebiuskerk
Arnhem is a city in the east of the Netherlands and it's got some epic buildings and lifts! This is part two of a two part lift tour.
This time I'm visiting the Eusebius church (grote kerk). The view is amazing!
The church was built between 1450-1570 and restored several times since 1894 to the present day.
What special about this is that it has a scenic lift, buildt in 1992 / 1994 by KONE-Starlift.
It's already modernized with KSS 470 fixtures, I don't know what the original fixtures where but I think the 470 fixtures are nicer then the ones that KONE-Starlift typically used in the 90's.
What's special about this lift is that it has the motor room in the middle, not at the top or at the bottom.
In the top you will find some scheaves instead. I sadly forgot to ask for a motor room visit.
This lift is also featured in a book published by KONE in netherlands, which I have made a video about.

Arnhem is a city and municipality, situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of Gelderland and located on both banks of the river Nederrijn as well as on the Sint-Jansbeek, which was the source of the city's development. Arnhem has almost 150,000 residents (per 1 January 2012) as one of the larger cities of the Netherlands. The municipality is part of the city region Arnhem-Nijmegen, a metropolitan area with 736,500 inhabitants.
This video features views around Arnhem, and features the following identified locations: Arnhem Centraal Station, Amsterdamseweg, Zijpendaalseweg, Willemsplein, Jansbinnensingel, Velperplein, St. Martin's Church, Seenstraat, Boulevard Heuvelink, Airborneplein, St. Walburgis Basiliek, Stadhuis Arnhem, Palais van Justitie, St. Eusebius Church, John Frost-Bridge, Koningstraat, and the Airborne War cemetery at Oosterbeek.
'Arnhem!' 'Eusebius'
The 5th part of my composition, dedicated to my home town Arnhem, called 'Arnhem!'. The 'Eusebius', major church of Arnhem. And again the 2nd World War plays a role. The church is badly destroyed during that war. After the war the church has been restored but that was not a success. Today there is still working on the church. Performed by 'Philharmonie Gelre', conductor Joop Boerstoel.

In the video you see parts of the video in the Mood Room, video by Imme van der Haak, Dior, Borre and a Dutch interview with Lidewij Edelkoort, the famous trend forecaster and curator of this event.
I went to the central building in which they show several exhibitions. One word: AMAZING!
You start downstairs in the Mood Room with fantastic pictures and a video on a large screen. Impressive!
Then you go to the 5th floor where there are several rooms with lots of exhibitions.
On the 4th floor there are even more rooms and 13 themes.
And then on the 3th floor there is a little shoe exhibition.
What I saw was fresh, contemporary and mindblowing. I loved it!
The next weeks the program is full with exhibitions, workshops, filmfestival and lots more.

UFO footage! (above Arnhem, the Netherlands)
This summer on June 15th (in Arnhem, the Netherlands) I made a video in my garden in the afternoon, recently I looked at it again and saw in the upper left corner a UFO! It seems to appear suddenly (the clouds were very thin!) from an other dimension and disappear after maybe less than 2 seconds! As I have no possibility to show it in slow motion or in a series of stills, anyone who can do that is free to analyse this footage! The used camera is a Samsung ES 15 (10.2 megapixels), with it I made also the two magnifications! There is also a very mysterious aspect: when I was a boy of 10 or 11 years I stood on the balcony of my parental home (also in Arnhem) looking at large summerclouds when I saw in the same direction and height a UFO flashing between two clouds, also only a few seconds- at the same time I had an out of the body experience, hung for a while before the balcony and suddenly was back in my body with a very exiting, joyful feeling! In 1972 end winter I had hitchhiking from Arnhem to Amsterdam at night a close encounter of the 3th kind, with possible 'missing time', when the first lift brought me to Ede (about 20 km from Arnhem) where I began to meditate (TM, trancendental meditation), hoping to get a lift further to Amsterdam. Then suddenly I got a telepathic order to look above me and saw a light approaching the zenit! Nearly immediately I hung hundreds of meters above my body and in spite of the dark, I could 'see' the whole landscape beneath me! I also experienced that my consciousness expanded to the infinite and all problems on earth seemed rather futile! Soon I was back in my body and a few minutes later I got a lift further to Amsterdam.................during the following week I had 2 very clear divine visions and at last a very frightening vision about mankind. I told about this terrible vision to a facebook-friend on April 26th 2012, two days later in the afternoon when I left a health-food shop in Arnhem crossing the street towards my bike with 2 heavy bags, I looked at the right and saw a black car with dark windows suddenly accelerating (!!!), I had to run for my life! It passed only at a few cm from me and in a flash I could see through an opened side-window an emotionless man with sunglasses! Clearly MIBS (man in black) tried to kill me, obviously thanks to facebook!

'Arnhem!'
‘Arnhem!’ is a composition dedicated to my hometown Arnhem. Originally it’s a 5-part suite for wind orchestra, duration 25 minutes. I’ve arranged it for the Dutch fanfare-orchestra as a continuous whole of 19 minutes. There are 4 subjects: ‘Sonsbeek’ (a famous park in Arnhem), ‘The Rijn’ (river Rhine) which the city is located. ‘Market Garden’, the codename of the battle of Arnhem in 1944 and ‘Eusebius’, the major church of Arnhem, badly destroyed in 1944 and rebuild after the war. The condition of the church is still a problem. Performed by ‘Het Brabants Fanfare Orkest’, conductor Frans van Dun.
