Sajeev N.K. is a unique thespian of Indian Theatre. More than an Actor, he is an Acting Coach and Director of many plays. ‘ActLab’- Actors Training Laboratory, based in Cochin, Kerala since 2009 is his brainchild. Added to being a guest faculty at Pune Film and Television Institute of India.
Whistling Woods International, Mumbai; IFTI, Meerut; ISOMS, Noida; Zee Institute of Media Art (ZIMA), Mumbai are the major institutions to his credence as a faculty member for his workshops on ‘Acting – Movement Arts’, ‘Role of Kalari in Actor’s Training, ‘Art of Body Flexibility and Mindfulness’ (2005 – 2014). Sajeev has also imparted series of Actors grooming program for Surya TV and another series of Actors training workshop for Nadakam.com in Riyadh, JanaSamskrithi and Kalabhavan Chapter at Qatar. His attributes to Theatre and Television Industry is a highly exhaustive list as well as an envious one.
To quote Actor Vinay Fort, “Sajeev is one of the most genuine person I have ever met. He is a brilliant theatre actor. His physical flexibility as an actor is incomparable. His love for art, theatre and teaching is immense. Haven’t met any acting coach like him who unconditionally loves their students.” Vinay holds high regards for Sajeev’sActLab too. He stated that under Sajeev’s coaching Actlab has generated some fine talents for the industry.

Mangalam Sontakke-Silver Medal-ABSS Pune 2018-Tabla-Brahmanaad Cultural Centre
On 28th May 2018, Mangalam Sontakke, Taal, Senior Category, Tabla, performed at the 14th Global Harmony Fest/Competition 2018, organised by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh, Pune. He was awarded Silver Medal (2nd prize) for his performance.

Mangalam is a disciple of Shri Sarthak Kumar ji, world-renowned Tabla Guru, of Ajrada Gharana. He learns Tabla at Sarthak ji's Brahmanaad Cultural Centre, Gurugram.
Thai - Sri Lanka Buddhist Cultural Centre
H.E Satchapand Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Sri lanka and The Maldives on Sunday 30th September 2007 had paid a visit to students and teachers of the Sunday school at Thai-Sri Lanka Buddhist Cultural Centre, Mabima, Heiyanthuduwa, before he departed Colombo that same night due to his end of official duty in Sri Lanka and The Maldives.
He told his accompanying staff that should mention here that: “I was impressed and delighted to see the development of children here who will develop to be a good member of their society and the world at large to make a way for peace.”
H.E. often attended both the religious and educational events at this center, and many others as well, and gave them supports.

Pune city - Maharashtra's cultural hub?
A thriving, vibrant metropolis, Pune is a centre of academia and business that epitomises ‘New India’ with its baffling mix of capitalism and spiritualism (ancient and modern). It’s also globally famous, or notorious, for an ashram, the Osho International Meditation Resort, founded by the late guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.
Pune was initially given pride of place by Shivaji and the ruling Peshwas, who made it their capital. The British took the city in 1817 and, thanks to its cool and dry climate, soon made it the Bombay Presidency’s monsoon capital. Globalisation knocked on Pune’s doors in the 1990s, following which it went in for an image overhaul. However, some colonial-era charm was retained in a few old buildings and residential areas, bringing about a pleasant coexistence of the old and new, which (despite the pollution and hectic traffic) makes Pune a worthwhile place to explore.
