269 Life Liberation(Lyon France)Action contre la fourrure 06.01.2016 par 269 Life Libération
06.01.2016
Hello to all!
Last Wednesday, 6 January 2016, first day of the sale, we have made an action against the fur in the city centre of Saint-Etienne.
Fitted with visual, we have tried to raise the awareness of the passers-by to the suffering hidden from the fur, but also of leather, wool, Peach Fuzz, etc...
To do this, we have read on several occasions a text that you will find below in full.
If many people have been sensitive to our approach, we find unfortunately that many do not know or pretend to ignore that they are real fur. Then it is imperative to continue to inform the public about the rearing conditions and slaughter of animals for this trade bloody.
We remind you that this type of action can be initiated by everyone. It is not necessary to be an association. Please do not hesitate to invest the streets of your city in this period of balances to inform and educate consumers on this trade of shame.
For animals, every day, every hour, every minute, we'll be 269 until the final release.
Here is the full text read yesterday on the occasion of the action:
The Association 269 life animal liberation today wants to make the voice of the million animals slaughtered for the fur!
Each year, there are 150 million animals which are high in terrible conditions, then killed without regard for this trade of shame!
There is no acceptable means of rip off the skin of an animal, his leather, his hair, his feathers to keep warm or be beautiful.
The animals are not products for our use. These are sentient beings, capable of emotions, feelings, knowledge, reason like humans!
Foxes, sables, Raccoons,, dogs, cats, etc... That you wear on your back have the right to live! The life of an animal goes before your desire to be fashionable.
The fur is worn by beautiful animals and by a vile people obsessed by their appearance and their ego at the expense of empathy and humanity.
What right do you condemn the suffering a be sensitive?
Your taste aesthetic is not a valid justification.
It is high time that a wind of ethics upon the fashion and that this cruel becomes more than a bad memory.
You're already filled in on the conditions of the breeding of animals?
In all cases to make a beautiful fur, so that the hair is well straightened it must be that the animal is suffering at the time of its introduction to death, it's an obligation.
But he must also suffer her whole life in these herds of shame where we leave the animals in cages tiny where they get injured, maimed, in the freezing cold to manufacture a maximum of fur.
As for the trapped animals in the wild: either they are dying in traps to jaw during several days, up to gnaw on the part of their body prisoner to try to get free / or they are captured still alive to be skinned alive, more or Less vaguely stunned with clubs or simply kicks! Whether it's factory farming or traditional farms, the short life of foxes, rabbits, Lynx or other raccoons there is subject to the same cruelty and at the same lack of dignity.
The cages, dimensions that are incompatible with the most basic respect for the animal, are raised so that the animals can't escape. Their feet are based on the fence which hurts painfully their pads.
Mink, for example, live in the natural state in vast areas where the water is very present since they spend 75 % of their time.
In The Farms, they are kept in cages wire netting on stilts, exposed to the sun as the freezing, without the slightest expanse of water. Cages where the only exercise that is possible is to run around in circles until the madness.
The stress and despair of these animals are so intense that they often arrive to self-mutilate.
Death is based on a single imperative: kill the animal at the lowest cost without damaging his skin.
Depending on the country, the methods used to give death vary: Anal Electrocution or genital, poisoning but also gassing with chemicals or fracture of the cervical vertebrae.
The animals are killed in broad daylight and in front of their congeners, placing these latest under stressful conditions unbearable.
These processes are extremely cruel and painful, and death is often slow... Elsewhere, other animals are even skinned alive...
In All, 150 million animals are killed each year for their fur, or more than two animals executed every second, day and night, for 365 days...
If the beauty has a price, the life she is not for sale!
The fur is so beautiful on the animals... But she can't yet that ugly up people who wear them!
Neither the law nor the systems, more or less humanized, Put in place, can produce furs without cruelty. In the matter, there is no good method!
Buy a coat made of fur, it's Porter on itself the traces of the suffering and barbarism.

The Battle of Pavia 1525 - The Italian Wars 9.
In late 1524 the imperial army retreats from Provence in the face of superior French forces. Lannoy retreats to Lodi and leaves a detachment commanded by D'Avalos to hold Pavia. Francis I decides to besiege Pavia instead of pursuing the main army. After two failed assaults, he decides to starve out the defenders. While the siege of Pavia is going on, he intervenes in Genoa and decides to send a small force against Naples. After the imperialists receive reinforcements, they go on the attack. The Marquis of Pescara assaults Visconti Park and with the assistance of Georg von Frundsberg and Charles Bourbon, wins a decisive battle.
Francis is captured and is forced to sign the humiliating Treaty of Madrid. While he was in captivity, his mother Louise of Savoy negotiated the Franco-Ottoman alliance. Suleiman I destroys Hungary, an ally of the emperor at the Battle of Mohacs.
After the Battle of Pavia, Charles V tries to force the Italians to pay for their own occupation. Pope Clement VII is not happy and forms an anti-imperialist league. The riotous imperial army responds with the Sack of Rome. The French launch another invasion but fail at the siege of Naples, after Andrea D'Oria goes over to the imperial side. Francis is forced to sue for peace, and signs the Treaty of Cambrai in 1529.
The Italian Wars was a series of conflicts that raged between 1494 and 1559 between the two major European powers, the Habsburgs who ruled the Holy Roman Empire and later Spain, and the Valois kings of France. At the height of the conflict the war involved Tudor England, the Ottoman Empire, Hungary, and all of Italy either as passive or active participants.
In terms of military tactics and strategy the Italian Wars saw the greatest innovations since the Roman Empire. Artillery finally came of age during the war prompting radical changes in terms of fortifications and battlefield tactics. Swiss pikemen, Landsknechts, and Spanish musketeers were amalgamated into a new type of standardized European infantry, the pike and shot formation. Cavalry although diminished in numbers, retained its place on the battlefield, being differentiated into heavy cavalry (men at arms), light cavalry and dragoons. In terms of strategy frontal medieval charges were replaced by careful maneuvering, the use of natural or man-made obstacles, and a keen attention to logistics. Commanders no longer fought in the front lines, but rather became managers of their armies. Politically the war shaped and reshaped the destinies of European countries for centuries to come.

LEGO 30 years war 1634 AD The Battle of Nördlingen
Next video will be out on the 15th of April
This is a representation of the battle of Nordlingen from the 30 years war.
25,000+ Swedes and Heilbronns vs 34,000 Imperialists
Battle Description
When the Swedish invaded Bavaria to make it a Protestant state, the Catholic Imperialists rose up and attempted to stop them. The Catholic powers from the Holy Roman Empire, the Bavarian league and Spain were far more powerful than the Swedish army and they had to retreat. Commander Cardinal - Infante Ferdinand captured the city of Regensburg and then marched on to lay siege upon Nordlingen. The Swedish commander Gustav Horn could not let the city fall and despite all, re-grouped his army and marched towards Nordlingen.
The Swedish and Heilbronn league's army consisted of 25,600 soldiers. Meanwhile, the Catholic Imperialist army consisted of 34,000 soldiers and had the advantage of a hill between the Swedes and the city.
Horn began by sending his cavalry out first who were followed by the infantry. At first, they were successful and managed to capture the hill. However, the cavalry split up and ruined the charge giving the Imperialists a chance to counter attack. The Imperialists managed to recapture the hill and made it impenetrable.
The Heilbronn artillery proved very useful in weakening the middle Imperialist ranks but didn't do much heavy damage. Infante, seeing an opportunity, ordered his cavalry to advance. The Imperialists crushed the Swedish army and only 13,000 (at best) managed to escape.
After the battle, the city of Nordlingen was recaptured by the Imperialists. This would have marked the end of the war if France hadn't joined on the Swedish side and lead another charge towards the Imperialist territory.

HOUSE of PLANTAGENET - WikiVidi Documentary
The House of Plantagenet was a royal house which originated from the lands of Anjou in France. The name Plantagenet is used by modern historians to identify four distinct royal houses – the Angevins who were also Counts of Anjou, the main body of the Plantagenets following the loss of Anjou, and the houses of Lancaster and York, the Plantagenets' two cadet branches. The family held the English throne from 1154, with the accession of Henry II, until 1485, when Richard III died. Under the Plantagenets, England was transformed, although this was only partly intentional. The Plantagenet kings were often forced to negotiate compromises such as Magna Carta. These constrained royal power in return for financial and military support. The king was no longer just the most powerful man in the nation, holding the prerogative of judgement, feudal tribute and warfare. He now had defined duties to the realm, underpinned by a sophisticated justice system. A distinct national identity was shaped by c...

SUMMARY
=======
Francis I (French: François Ier) (12 September 1494 – 31 March 1547) was King of France from 1515 until his death in 1547. He was the son of Charles, Count of Angoulême, and Louise of Savoy. He succeeded his cousin and father-in-law Louis XII, who died without a son. Francis was the ninth king from the House of Valois, the second from the Valois-Orléans branch, and the first from the Valois-Orléans-Angoulême branch.
A prodigious patron of the arts, he initiated the French Renaissance by attracting many Italian artists to work on the Château de Chambord, including Leonardo da Vinci, who brought the Mona Lisa with him, which Francis had acquired. Francis' reign saw important cultural changes with the rise of absolute monarchy in France, the spread of humanism and Protestantism, and the beginning of French exploration of the New World. Jacques Cartier and others claimed lands in the Americas for France and paved the way for the expansion of the first French colonial empire.
For his role in the development and promotion of a standardized French language, he became known as le Père et Restaurateur des Lettres (the Father and Restorer of Letters). He was also known as François du Grand Nez (Francis of the Large Nose), the Grand Colas, and the Roi-Chevalier (the Knight-King) for his personal involvement in the wars against his great rival the Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain Charles V.
Following the policy of his predecessors, Francis continued the Italian Wars. The succession of Charles V to the Burgundian Netherlands, the throne of Spain, and his subsequent election as Holy Roman Emperor, meant that France was geographically encircled by the Habsburg monarchy. In his struggle against Imperial hegemony, he sought the support of Henry VIII of England at the Field of the Cloth of Gold. When this was unsuccessful, he formed a Franco-Ottoman alliance with the Muslim sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, a controversial move for a Christian king at the time.

French Wars of Religion
The French Wars of Religion (1562–98) is the name of a period of civil infighting and military operations, primarily fought between French Catholics and Protestants (Huguenots). The conflict involved the factional disputes between the aristocratic houses of France, such as the House of Bourbon and House of Guise (Lorraine), and both sides received assistance from foreign sources.
The exact number of wars and their respective dates are the subject of continued debate by historians; some assert that the Edict of Nantes in 1598 concluded the wars, although a resurgence of rebellious activity following this leads some to believe the Peace of Alais in 1629 is the actual conclusion. However, the Massacre of Vassy in 1562 is agreed to begin the Wars of Religion and the Edict of Nantes at least ended this series of conflicts. During this time, complex diplomatic negotiations and agreements of peace were followed by renewed conflict and power struggles.
