Diner says there's a rat in KFC's chicken
Jeanne Moos reports on a fast food flap that has one diner fried. See below for KFC's full response provided to CNN on June 22:
“Recently, a customer questioned the quality of a KFC product, and this received considerable publicity given the sensational nature of his claim. The product has now been tested by a third-party independent lab, which confirmed it is definitely a piece of chicken, as we knew all along. The right thing for this customer to do is to apologize and cease making false claims about the KFC brand.”
Federal, local agencies involved in raid of known synthetic marijuana outlets
Officers from several agencies on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, raid the Glass Dragon on Texas 149 in Gregg County. The business is a known dealer in synthetic marijuana. Officers and agents were also at at two businesses in Longview.
Wisconsin nonprofit seeks to better connect U.S. farmers with their Mexican employees
Mexicans who come to the U.S. seeking employment often leave their loved ones and culture behind. In Wisconsin, a nonprofit helps connect American farmers with their migrant employees through language and cultural education. Some of the farmers travel to Mexico to visit the families of their workers -- who can't risk the trip home themselves. Special correspondent Fred de Sam Lazaro reports.

A pastor, a rabbi and a Nepalese chef all walk into ... Mequon and/or Thiensville, every day! As do the pharmacy students and staff at Concordia University, a hardware store owner, consignment shop owners, a catering company family, a village president and a mayor. And for four days, John joined them. He also met people who shared their metal cutting business, a rice paddy, the fish ladder and their music.
So what do you get when you cross Thiensville with Mequon? Too much to shoot in four days... And that's no joke!
